We've been enjoying Romilos pizza in particular since they opened years ago. There is no place in Severna Park where you can get the same fresh quality and taste that you can find here. More cheese than you'd ever want, and delicious Italian sausage or Italian salami if you add meat. Check the local coupons available and you can get 2 two topping large pizzas for just $18.99. These guys are the nicest people in Maryland. I came here with a friend after the carnival, and got a greek salad. I fell in love with the house greek dressing, it is by far the best dressing I have ever had. Service was great, food came out quick, and they were very attentive. Since then, when I don't eat at the restaurant, I always stop in to buy the greek dressing for my salads at home. The owner normally charges a minimal amount for a soup bowl of th dressing to go, but many times has just given it to me free of charge! I cannot express my gratitude enough to this place. Ordered a chicken gyro, a regular gyro and some dolmas. Gyros had plenty of meat and the pita was soft and delicious. The meat itself was not super flavorful. Dolmas weren't edible. Slimy and had a strange unappetizing flavor in them that I couldn't quite put my finger on. read more

Very good. I like the grilled cheese and philly cheesesteak. What I didn't know is that this place supports Grubhub delivery, right here on Yelp. I decided to go here for a quick lunch because I had some time to kill. I read the reviews. Thought the new ownership may have turned around what was before so I figured I'd give it a shot. I ordered the chicken noodle soup for $5.00. Let's just say there is absolutely nothing special about this soup. Tasted like I paid $5.00 for a can of progresso soup. Next. I ordered a small grilled chicken salad. The salad is $7.00. To add the chicken it was $4.50. It was a hot day. I was looking for a nice refreshing salad. Once it was served I was given a very warm bowl with waaaay too much dressing that saturated my warm soggy wilted lettuce. Gross! The grilled chicken looked liked they use the tenderloin meat because almost every single piece had the tendon in it. I politely picked through some of it but it simply was just not edible. I would not go here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone else. On a positive note my service was great. read more

Had the Veal Saltimbocca, absolutely terrible. Veal was thick and chewy, ham instead of prosciutto, covered with a thick layer of spinach and some watery sauce that was totally inappropriate. The food was okay and service was less than that. The waitress came over and stated "do you know know what you want" instead of introducing herself and asking me what I would like to have. She later returned with my meal and the waitress slammed my food and the table so quickly that I didn't have a chance to ask her anything before she turned on her heals and was headed away...and she never came back to ask if anything was needed until I raised my hand several times to request the missing sauce to my meal. At first, I thought she was new but I observed her providing very good service to her other tables and checking on the customers several times throughout their meal. First time I never left a tip...usually I over tip because I know waitresses make their living on their tips; however, in this case, there was no way I was going to tip her for being borderline rude and inattentive. I start at the customary 15% and find every reason to go up from there. If the food was outstanding, perhaps I'd give it another try and hope for a different server but since it was a forgettable meal, I'll likely not return. Disappointed...I've heard good things about this restaurant so I was surprised by the waitresses behavior...Take care of your customers and they'll take care of you. read more

Went in on a Saturday, early afternoon. We were seated quickly, as they were not busy. Our waitresses name was Shannon. My son ordered buffalo wings as an appetizer. We also ordered 2 philly subs as our main entree and a kids cheeseburger well done for my granddaughter. Three minutes after the buffalo wings were served, the rest of our meal came, which should never have happened. We had to asker server for plates for our wings, had to ask for napkins, kids burger was medium, not well ,as we requested. Server never checked back with us at all. The only attention she gave us was when she brought our check, I guess a desperate attempt to make nice in order to receive a tip. WE are very disappointed and will never come back. Too bad, because the food is decent, but poor service definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth. read more

My husband and I go to Romilo's at least once a week and we always have a great time. I love that it is in the neighborhood and it is a restaurant where everyone knows your name. Brian and Jessie in the bar area are the best!! They know our drink orders and more often than not our food order. They often check in to see if we need anything. You HAVE to try the "Irish Potato" shot that Brian personally brings to the table and performs his magic. The food is always delicious.. from their homemade lasagna to their steak and cake, and of course their pizza...yummy!! They have live music most weekends. You can call to find out who is playing. You need to give them a try, they will exceed your expectations. read more

Hadn't been here for a few years and tried it again tonight on a Friday night at 715. Still pretty full on the restaurant side but most people were finishing. Took a long time to get drinks, then really long to get food. By now it was only about 1/4 full. My black and blue burger was good.husbands chicken parm sub was dry and so-so. After finished took more time to get Bill and then waitress disappeared again before she came to collect $. Had to walk it up to register myself. By now hardly anyone was left. I've been taking my family here for almost two decades, but this place has really gone downhill over the past year. Apparently the original owners sold it and the new owners have made several changes. Anyone who has come here for years knows that there were about 7 or 8 waiters that have been here for a LONG time who were very friendly, knew your name, knew what you wanted, etc. They are all gone now, and the wait staff looks like they just got off the high school bus stop and wandered in. They aren't particularly friendly or good at their jobs, and it take away A LOT of the character. Though the food has always been good, the prices has gotten pretty insane. It's over $20 for a large shrimp salad sub...a sub that costs over $20 at a neighborhood Greek restaurant. They have also tried to make several changes to save money that just comes off as cheap and/or insulting. My wife ordered a greek salad with anchovies as she always does and they brought her out a salad with ONE anchovy on it! When we asked the waitress for more, she apologized and said that is the new policy. Is that a joke? The salad costs like $10 and you give a single anchovy? This has been one of the best restaurants in Severna Park for a long time, but now my kids don't even care if we go here or not anymore. The owners need to make some changes or else they will lose all of the core customers that have kept Romilo's around for so long. read more

As far as I'm concerned Romilos is a staple in the Severna Park area for Greek dining. By no means an upscale place, Romilos is about as good as casual dining can get. Be sure to ask for the "lunch menu" to find great deals on gyros and other sandwiches, soups and salads. read more

We have dined several time at Romilo's Very good Gyro's.. However this last tome April 6, 2018. was HORRIBLE. Slowest service ever. We ordered one hot dog and mac & cheese for the grandkids. NY Strip and Fajita's for the two adults. Kids order and our drinks come out quickly. However it appears that the cook had to drive some distance, locate a bovine and chase it down so that it might be butchered. After about 30 mins I inquired where'e the grub? Waitress says she'll check. "it will be soon." 15 mins later wife goes to check. I don't know what they told her. Five mins later young manager comes out apologizes offers 20% off. I tell him if it's not cooked keep it, we will settle and leave. SURPRISE it's cooked! So we have two tired sleepy kids under 5 and TAKE OUT! Manager blames it on the bar being SO BUSY cus of the band. DUH plan ahead Sherlock! Total FAIL. It discounted the gratuity 20% read more

Well, I wish there were 10 stars! We have eaten here for years - starting with kids end-of-year baseball parties and now as empty nesters and we have NEVER had a bad meal. Consistently tasty, oversized portions (so we always have lunch for tomorrow) and friendly service. It is our GO TO place anytime we need dinner and don't want to think about where to go. This has been my favorite local pizza place for many years. They use real & good cheese & toppings that taste like what they are supposed to! The sauce is delicious, but a tad light for my taste. The crust is, well, crusty! It is not the least soggy, and tastes good. The staff is friendly and considerate. I eat in and have other meals less often but have always been very satisfied the food. It seems fresh and not overly salty or greasy. The atmosphere is casual, low key, and family friendly. The service is consistently good. The pricing is spot on for the value. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants but I almost never get to eat here because everyone I love hates it. They complain that the food isn't good, service is soooooo sssllllloooowwwww, and its too pricey. Be that as it may, they have the best Greek salad served with homemade dressing. Overall, I think Romilos offers the generic run of the mill meal. We've ordered subs every so often out of convenience and are usually not hungry anymore but never astounded. Tonight we wanted a quick dinner option and decided to carry-out food. I called in the order and asked for a chicken parm sub for my boyfriend and I wanted a simple grilled chicken on pita with only lettuce and mayo. Simple enough right? Apparently not. Before ending my conversation I also mentioned the 10% off coupon on their website and the gentleman said it was only for dine in when the coupon clearly states "Dine In or Carry-Out Only", but I wasn't in the mood to argue so I just let it go. Well the chicken parm sub was fine. The boyfriend ate it all and had no complaints, but he's very easy to please. My chicken pita however, was riddled with tomatoes. Im talking about a lot of tomatoes and please keep in mind I hate tomatoes but I am not above picking tomatoes out of my food, I do it often. Well after I get my pita ready I take a big ol bite and as soon as I did my taste buds were very confused and frustrated. They must season their chicken with taco seasoning because I kid you not this thing tasted like a glorified taco bell chalupa. Not happy at all. Needless to say I spent the rest of my night hungry, writing this review. To sum it up. Dont completely write the place off but proceed with caution. read more
