Awesome service! I called for a broken kitchen faucet and a leaky dishwasher. The lady who answered the phone was so pleasant to talk to. She sent someone out to my house within an hour. No hassle no waiting. Frank put in my new faucet and fixed my dishwasher in no time. He was very nice and explained every step and gave suggestions on how to best maintain it. Romo Plumbing fixed the leaky joint in our copper plumbing, and installed a pressure regulator to knock our 140 psi down to 60. The high psi is what caused the leak. Same day service, very reasonable rates, they were in and out in about an hour. They also let me pre-coordinate buying the pressure regulator I wanted (very high psi input, double unions for any future issues), so I did not have to pay them for parts, nor get what was available last minute but really did not want. Luckily I can handle a lot of plumbing problems myself (dishwasher, faucet, toilet, garbage disposal repair and replacement), but have had miserable luck in San Pedro when I needed a real plumber. I have an old house that was plumbed into older Sewer pipes and having a monthly clean out. Called Romo Plumbing and Frank came out and set up a camera inspection and found several broken areas in the main line. We have rental property in San Pedro and needed a plumber. After waiting 4 hours on a Saturday for a plumber from another company to arrive, the plumber told us we needed to replace the water heater and there were a few other parts that needed to be replaced. It would be a 5 to 6 hour job and he would need assistance and there were no other plumbers available to assist him so we would have to wait until Monday. We didn't want our tenants to go without hot water for two days. So I found Romo Plumbing on Yelp and decided to give them a call, not expecting anyone to answer the phone since it was now 3:30 Saturday afternoon. I was so happy when Maria answered the phone. She was so kind and helpful and understood our need to have our plumbing problem fixed that day. Within one hour from my call to Romo Plumbing, Maria had a plumber at the apartment. Frank, the plumber, and his assistant Richard were professional and courteous. By 8 pm Saturday the job was complete and everyone was happy. I have never posted a review of any sort, but felt that the personal and professional service I have received from Romo Plumbing was so outstanding, that I had to let others know how great they are. Six months ago we moved into a nightmare house in San Pedro. Everything from plumbing, roof, asbestos, windows,electrical you name it needed fixing. The first week we were in the house, we had sewage coming up out of our shower and tub area. We had a home warranty plumber come out 3 times in one week. Not only did they not fix the problem, they refused to check anything under the house and left the sewer cap off after they snaked the lines. This spilled sewage under the house. The home warranty plumber would not take responsibility for the sewage spill. Enter Frank from Romo Plumbing. Romo Plumbing did have any part in the toxic mess or smell under our house, but Frank immediately assessed the problem and arranged for a toxic waste specialist company to come clean up the mess under our house. Afterwards he cleaned the clogged pipes the right way. Romo plumbing also came and corrected the kitchen plumbing which was held together by duct tape and the outside garden faucet which was connected to the hot water line instead of cold. We have so much faith in Romo Plumbing and the quality work they do, that we recently had them replace all the sewer pipes under the house. When you move to a new area, you don't know who to call for home repairs. I am so glad we found Romo Plumbing. Their plumber Frank is a young man, but he really knows what he is doing. He takes pride in his work and guarantees his repairs. He is punctual, courteous, and his work can be trusted. I appreciate that he is careful and never leaves a mess in my house. He has also been a valuable resource for the other repairs this house has needed. I have his cell number (which he answers) I know I can count on him to come ASAP. Maria, who is the office manager is always cheerful and a joy to chat with. She always works with me to schedule repairs as quickly as possible. We had both our bathroom faucets leaking badly. Our regular plumber said we had to replace the whole thing. We contacted a famous plumber who advertises on radio and TV. He came and said he didn't have the right parts. We got the replacement parts from the manufacturer he said we needed but when he came back (late) he said there was still nothing he could do but we had to buy a replacement sink. We contacted Romo and they were very pleasant, even when we had to cancel the 1st appointment. They arrived early for the re-scheduled time and in 40 minutes had the problem solved with no fuss or drama and at a reasonable price . Frank and Seven were very nice and left the place clean. I had a main line blockage in my plumbing. A large tree in my front yard (that I planted) grew roots into my main drainage line to the street. I called Romo's and spoke with Maria. She was so professional and courteous - she also understood my plumbing problem. I don't write many reviews, but have to write one for my favorite plumbing company because over the years they have taken such good care of me. I came home late Thursday night to find water dripping from my bathroom ceiling fixture. I called Maria first thing in the morning and Romo Plumbing came to my rescue as always. I happen to live in a condo that was very poorly built so I'm always needing plumbing help. I get a lot of those annoying pin holes that form in pipes in your walls. I'm also very very busy with my business so I don't have time to sit around at home, away from the office, waiting for someone to show up. That's why Romo Plumbing is so great. Maria let's me know when they are on their way so I can be at work and just meet them at my house when I know they are en route. That way I don't have to be away from my office as long. The guys showed up, found the spot on the pipe that was leaking and with lighting speed repaired it so it was as good as new. Good quality work too!
