Quite disappointing...I ordered a mixed drink and specified the ingredients. The waitress stated no problem; however, when I received the drink it wasnt what I ordered. My friend ordered the chicken dish. It was bland, rubbery, and dry. It was sent back. The salmon I ordered was lacking in favor as well and the piece was very thin. We kept swatting at nats during our meal. Nats in January..The male bathroom had an odor just like an unsterizled nursing home. Me and my buddy went there on a tuesday night and it was not good,to put it simply. First, when we walked in there there wasn't anyone in the front to seat us and i saw the waitress glance at us and just ignore us. After standing for 5 minutes, i walked up to her and told her to get us a table,which is when she got some other lady to seat us(note:the place was pretty empty). After that i ordered the fondue appetizer which i admit was good. Then i ordered the chicken parm(pollo alla parmigiana) but when i got it,it was just chicken with cheese,no pasta/spaghetti, i know i should've read the menu closer but wow,what kind of place serves chicken parm without spaghetti/pasta for $20? She was trying to mislead me too by saying i could have some,as if it would be free,but then my friend asks how much and she says $7,for a side of spaghetti? That's crazy. I then ordered the molten cake for dessert which was also good. The worst part was when i was done eating and came back from the restroom,that she had added a $28 dish onto the ticket that we didn't order! When i called her to come over,she said oh yea i forgot to take that off,while she was still across the room! She didn't even come over to look at the ticket and try to act surprised! She knew what she was doing! I bet she was tricking those poor old people in there like that too. I'm never going back there again. read more

Yum! So happy they moved here from the antique mall in Collierville. The bar was very cool, but it does not allow for too many people. My drink was served in a cracked glass with a chunk missing, but was remedied quickly once I brought it to the bartender's attention. The dining room flowed well and was lit appropriately. However, we were seated in a "private room/nook" with a wait stand at the opening. Great for privacy if you want, but left little if you are a people watcher. The food was awesome and pastas were obviously fresh made. Everyone at our table enjoyed their dishes. My dish was considerably behind everyone elses, but I did not starve. My biggest gripe was the hostess who constantly circled to check our dining progress and I even heard her tell the server we needed to be gone in 20 minutes. Would not have been a problem had my meal come out before most everyone was done with theirs. If you're watching your portion sizes this may be place for you. Unfortunately we received surprisingly small plates in out to-go order. The lasagna had good flavor, but for the prices they are charging, we thought it would be bigger than an appetizer. read more

A friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant after we had intentions to go to another establishment for lunch. We both were so impressed and so glad that we opted to give it a try. I had a Lobster Pizza & it was INCREDIBLE!! Our waitress was so nice and made sure to check on us through-out our meal and make sure we were out with time to get back to work as we were on our lunch hour. We will definitely be back & if you haven't given their lunch a try...you will not be disappointed! read more

I had lunch there with a friend. I really like the changes to the interior that have been made. Our service was great. Prompt and attentive. It wasn't too loud for conversation. Most Memphis people are familiar with the Grisanti's families menus and we weren't disappointed. We had a salad and panini. We'll be back. read more

Was there on a busy night. A little bit of a wait but the friendliness, great atmosphere and fantastic food were worth it! There is a great energy in the place without being overbearing. Love that you can have a beautifully prepared meal (with the perfect wine) while enjoying conversation with friends. Obviously a place that cares about its customers and the whole dining experience. Don't make a complaint in the restaurant, the managers are very aggressive and will threaten to physically assault you, not a joke. Dino Grisanti would be ashamed. The general staff was friendly, I'm assuming because they're afraid for their lives. Lawsuit waiting to happen, absolutely, do not recommend! read more

The manager just informed me he would NOT honor our reservation for a birthday dinner which had been made over two weeks ago when the reservation was only three hours away even though the staff had admitted to me that my reservation had been made prior to the one they chose to give our table to. I guess they just double booked, then chose the largest party. Shabby way to treat patrons!!!! read more

I find it interesting that my one star rating comments from two days ago is totally gone from this site. All of my comments were justified. If I could have given less than one star I would have. This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The food is always fast, fresh, and delicious. The service is always incredible and hospitable. I've seen some guests give the staff some serious and uncalled for attitude, but it is always met with grace. I want to specifically call out Claudia, as she went above and beyond for me. It is a family member's birthday, and my grandmother changed the number of people in our party about 100 times, and as granddaughter it's my job to change the reservation. Everyone was so patient all 100 times I called, but I was particularly impressed with Claudia. We always make our reservation on the patio because of the nice weather, but today it started pouring rain! I called to move our reservation inside, and Claudia had already done it for me!! It was a small, but extremely thoughtful and appreciated gesture. It's not often you find someone who is willing to go above and beyond without being asked. Thank you Claudia and the rest of the Ronnie Grisanti's staff for being so patient and kind! I am impressed 100% of the time I dine in with you all. It's why I have always enjoyed this restaurant, and will always continue coming back. read more

We had a reservation. We were seated 30 minutes later only after I said that we could get a reservation elsewhere in 15. It took 10 minutes to have a server speak to us. Our first contact with a server was 40 minutes after our reservation. The food was fine at best. This was our second trip. The first time was within 3 weeks of the opening, so I was giving them a second chance. I cannot see going back. The cheese on a pizza did not taste fresh. It had that slightly green flavor. My guest did not eat half of it. The shrimp were mealy. Spinach was good. Toasted ravioli were just fine. They have such great potential. I loved the location at Poplar and Humes. This is just not living up and I really want to like it. There need more servers, a better system for timing reservations and quality control. Our first meal was so over salty that it was on the verge of inedible and I like salt. Give it a try but go early. The bar is tight and there is very little waiting space. read more
