I wanted to try this place for breakfast after looking at the breakfast buffet picture even though I would order a menu breakfast. The place is in the corner of a strip mall and is not bad looking with a bar on one side and dine room on the other. Lots of light wood all over from the bar to the tables/chairs. The breakfast menu is on the small side with all regulars and the meat lovers skillet sounded good. Service was slow even though I arrived a few minutes after opening and just two tables in service=4 people. Even though they open at 8am the buffet would not be ready until about 8:30 am I was told. The place was filling fast and still one woman trying to work the whole room. My food took a bit long to hit my table, 25 minutes for being the third order into the kitchen. I ordered the meat lovers skillet with three eggs and sourdough toast. The eggs were cooked perfect sunny side up. The sourdough toast was was the generic kind that in a blind taste test with white would be hard to pick out. The meat lovers skillet was made by a Peta cook because all you could taste mainly was the nice hash browns because the ham, sausage and bacon was minimal and diced very small/thin. The hash browns were tasty with that nice mix of golden brown and pillowy soft potatoes. The meat lovers skillet was disappointing because all you could taste was the potatoes and left me wishing that I ordered sausage and eggs to satisfy my breakfast meat crave that I had. Overall the breakfast was very average and I would probably hit some other places in the area next time.

Went on a weekday, the food was mediocre at best. Maybe the fish fry is worth visiting for, but the food we had would not draw us back..

Very good food and good value. Servers are friendly. Not really "cozy"... they lost that when they moved to this location.

    Do they take reservations?

I have never made any reservations or asked if they do so my suggestion is calling the restaurant because I didn't see anything on website to make one. Good luck

Friday fish fry is very crowded, but look forward to trying, as well as the fried chicken.

Obviously it wasn't hard to figure out, just strange. The prices are in line with the area, so a little high. In winter its uncomfortable because the tables are small and there's no place to hang up one's coat and hat.

We all arrived at about 10:15 on a Sunday morning with cloudy weather, so we had to eat inside. The rest has separate areas spaced out with multiple size table of two to eight people. We were seated in a separate room with large doorways for people to intermingle and servers to go between. Our group ordered after having beverages delivered to us and we then patiently waited for our food to arrive. Two of us ordered southern hash which noted were gluten free, an avaocdo belt and an onlete of a mix of items with a side of hash browns. As a matter of fact all entrees had a choice of sides of fruit, hash browns or breakfast potatoes (deep fried potatoes cubed). My omelet was a bit over cooked and dry, but was full of flavor after salt and pepper were added. The hash was well accepted and pacing of food was good. The ambiance was ok, but fairly noisy with not a lot of noise deadening materials on the wall, ceiling or floors.

It's an interesting place, but hard to put into a specific category. It offers hot beverages, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, oatmeal, etc. -- and then they also have ice cream. When I walked in, I was a bit unsure about the layout and seating. In the first area, there are a couple of tables. There are lots of things going on in this space, and it feels a bit cramped and chaotic. The order counter is here, along with a small kitchen. Beyond this space, you'll find a much larger seating area with tables for different-sized groups. I'm not a design expert, but this area also felt a bit chaotic. I didn't sense any overarching design. For me, it didn't have the relaxing, chill vibe I look for in a coffee shop or café. Got a super friendly greeting and service. Ordered a couple of tea lattes -- one Chai, and the other a London Fog (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam). Both were made in mugs, served at the right temperature, with great flavor. Got a couple of the scones, and those were just "okay." They were dry (which a scone should be), but they leaned more muffin-like than shortbread-like. Overall, the visit was a mixed bag -- not bad, but not a place I'm likely to return to.
