Y'all.... I have found my NEW favorite cafe to work from. Orange County had a lot of cute cafes, but not a lot of space to sit and work in. Insert Roosevelt Coffee! I first discovered the place when I went to their holiday market. I loved that they bring in other local businesses to sell their products. 10/10!! The team here really gets to know you! They remembered my name and that was a real treat. Cherie is a hard name, so I appreciate it when places go above and beyond to go to know their guests. The latte.... Full of flavor and spice! Too bad it's just a seasonal flavor. I could drink this all year round. They should keep it and call it the OC. The croissant was fabulous! Just imagine.... This is the best coffee you can get in Irvine. I'll say it again... this is THE BEST coffee you can get in Irvine. The baristas really know how to pull a perfect shot of espresso. In addition to the amazing coffee, they also offer fresh pastries and cookies. My favorite quick bite is the rosemary ham and cheese croissant. It is so perfectly buttery and flakey! I love coming here to catch up with a girlfriend or to sit and do some work because the vibes are perfect. The service is always amazing because everyone is so nice. Great coffee shop hidden away in a corporate plaza. Aside from having unique seasonal flavors you can't find easily in other coffee shops, Roosevelt Coffee has an amazing atmosphere as well. Cute establishment in a business area. The establishment has booths and tables but does fill up quick! The lattes and coffees are tasty and the seasonal menu is a plus. I've tried every new seasonal drink and have never been disappointed. My only suggestion is to ask for slightly less sweet if you don't like it all sugared up and actually want to taste the espresso beans. read more

Just tried the black sesame and was a bit disappointed in the iced latte. It kind of tastes like sweeten milk. I didn't get a strong coffee taste or even a black sesame. I did add cold foam and it was honestly just whipped cream... there is a difference between the two and for $1 extra, I was very dissatisfied with it. Personally for a latte to be $8.75 ( +1 for oat and $1 for cold foam) this place just wasn't it. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

Sesame Iced Coffee is amazing here! It is a little on the pricier side but for me it is worth it. Not too strong on the sesame taste but just enough to taste it over the denseness of the taste of coffee. I've had sesame latte's all over OC and they're usually either milked / watered / coffee'd down to the point where you can't taste the sesame at all. Their ham sandwhich is also a fave of mine! So that limits a lot of people in this area from eating it. -they need to open earlier! The Matcha Black Sesame was pretty good; I appreciate how strong the matcha was, but the black sesame was more of an after taste. Consider this my new favorite coffee shop!!! As I work remotely on Fridays, I like to spend the day working out of a different coffee shop I've discovered on Yelp. Roosevelt has been on my radar for a while now and today I finally had the chance to go! I got there right at opening at 8 am before I logged on for the work day and chatted with the barista for a bit about their popular drinks, seasonal Fall menu, and pastry case. I opted for an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and light ice and a ham and cheese croissant warmed up. I was so surprised and pleased that my latte was served in real glassware since I was dining in :') I thought that was such a special touch that a lot of coffee shops no longer do. The latte was delightful and with no exaggeration, probably the best iced vanilla latte I've ever had! It was subtly sweetened and not drowning in overwhelming vanilla flavor or acidic from the espresso. This is a quality latte and I will be back here this weekend for sure. The ham and cheese croissant was also delicious and you get a huge croissant for the price. The rosemary on top and subtle rosemary flavor is a really nice flavorful touch. There aren't that many outlets but I sat at a table near one as I did bring my work laptop and having an outlet nearby and accessible is important to me. The actual cafe is so spacious and aesthetically decorated and all the baristas are so accomodating and helpful in answering any questions. I ended up ordering their Oogie Boogie matcha with oat milk off their seasonal menu before I left and that was so unique and tasty as well (it was pretty steep at a little over $10 though, not sure if I'd get this particular one again. Other than that all their reg menu stuff is pretty normally priced in comparison to other coffee shops in the area) I'm going to recommend this place to all my WFH friends :) restroom is also super clean!! Cashier was super nice and had a warm smile. It was my first time and I really liked the chocolate croissant. It was flaky warm and had a good amount of chocolate. However, I also tried the honey jasmine matcha and it was disappointing. It tasted like milk. No honey or jasmine flavor and the matcha was diluted (not a vibrant green). I wouldn't recommend this drink but now I'm not so sure about the other matcha drinks they had either. I think stick to the coffee drinks based on the other reviews. It was also very busy for a Monday noon and no tables were open so I wouldn't come here again to try and study. read more

Cashier was very helpful and asked if it was my first time visiting. I ordered an oat milk, lavender latte for $7.50, standard size. Price and with taxes and a 2 dollar tip, walked out paying 10 dollars. Definitely not an everyday cost I'm willing to pay but was delicious enough to make me want to come back occasionally.
