My friend in AA said YOU HAVE TO GO. He was not wrong, the coffee was so smooth with the perfect flavors and add oatmilk on top - you have a winner! Decent prices too - a win in this economy. Love that each cup had a unique pour over art! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

RoosRoast continues to be one of my favorite coffee shops in Ann Arbor. My favorite drink here is the long pull of their lobster butter love coffee beans. I usually ask for a splash of whole milk with my drink. Their lobster butter love is currently one of my favorite coffee beans - it is a medium-ish roast with a smooth, buttery finish. At home, I like to use these beans in a pour over. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is casual and well-suited for quick pick-ups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be back!

I've heard from family and friends about the quality of the coffee, and one buddy prefers their other location, but upon returning to Ann Arbor for a visit I made a point to come here early on a Sunday morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was already busy, not full, but jumping.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My rating is based solely on the coffee, tried previously from a care package mailed to me (Lobster Butter blend), and the redeye and coffee I purchased on this visit. Two visits, to be exact. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside it is colorful and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd love to try their breakfast menu in the future. The employees were also nice and knowledgeable. Especially when picking a blend to bring home as a gift. One thing I like are the witty descriptions on the coffee bags. They also have an extensive loose tea selection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, the coffee is 4-5 stars, ambience 4 stars, and until I try food or snacks, that rating is reserved.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A solid coffee spot in downtown A2! I'm partial to their location further out of town, but this spot is good too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The indoor seating is a little limited but there's ample seating outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were friendly and helpful as always! The service was very quick. I got a Honey Vanilla latte, suprisingly not my favorite but I do love the ice they use. The price is a little high but standard for A2. Not a bad option! Would recommend.

My favorite coffee shop in ann arbor. Coffee tastes delicious,. Dont have to wait in a long line, and it is not overpriced.

Stopped here during the art fair and it was very busy but very efficient. Friendly staff despite being very hot inside. I got the honey vanilla latte iced with oat milk. They even gave me an iced water to help me cool down. The espresso was so smooth. I would definitely go back! One note is several people were getting Vietnamese coffees but I didn't see that anywhere on the menu.

Stopped in for morning coffee and to do some email. Roos has the Ann Arbor vibe going. The coffee was good. It is on the dark side. The savory pastry thingy I had was very good. At 8:30am on a beautiful Wed morning, it was hopping. The smaller coffee was 8oz, good for me. I saw people have the egg-sandwich thing, which looked great. I believe they have enlarged the space. There are small tables and counter-type space along the wall. The work space is small. They do have a communal table towards the back for 4 to 6 people.

Ran out of the office with a collegue for a coffee break. We try to pick a new place each outting, once a quarter. Today was RoosRoast. They are located just on Liberty, a block off main street. The store is small and seating is outside. Lots of nice shade or a find a spot in the sun. We ordered a Cortado with oatmilk and honey. It was perfect. I also grabbed a pork burrito and bottle of cold brew from the fridge. The two coffees were $13+ and the burrito and cold brew was $12.50. Their staff was super fast and really nice. I grabbed a to-go condiment cup of their sweet red sauce for the burrito and took it back to my desk after we enjoyed a break at an outside table. Their other menu options looked really appetizing. There is a vegan burrito that I hear is really tasty. Looking forward to my next visit for sure.

Whenever we visit a different city, Nate and I always look for fun coffee shops to check out. I particularly enjoy ones that have delicious food items. RoosRoast was super close to our hotel and we ended up stopping there twice while in town for a weekend, we liked it that much. Walking in on our first visit, the most helpful employee ever greeted us and asked if we had any questions about the menu. It's such a small thing, but totally makes a customer experience for me whenever I'm asked this. I ordered my summer go-to, an iced oat latte, and the truckstop breakfast sandwich. If there is a breakfast sandwich on a menu, I'm getting it. Breakfast sandwiches are my love language. Nate asked what a long pour is and said helpful employee explained that it's... um, something about the grind and water amount, I think? Not a coffee aficionado here. Either way, we were both happy with our choices. There were a few open tables outside and no indoor seating at all when we were there, so we enjoyed our tasty breakfast while dog watching on the sidewalk. The sandwich was super hot, made with ham, scrambled egg, kale, potatoes, cheddar cheese, ancho chili sauce, butter, and lime mayo on an English muffin. Holy moly, this was so good. The lime mayo really added a bit of a zesty kick and made it unique. I loved the kale so I could pretend this was a salad (lol). It's a really good thing that I don't live near this place, because how could I not want to get one of these daily? I'd love to try the breakfast burritos too! On our next visit the following day, we ended up buying a couple bags of beans after the same helpful employee (I am totally kicking myself for not getting their name) offered some suggestions. Ann Arbor is lucky to have this coffee shop and I will absolutely be back next time I'm in town. (And I'll find out that person's name!)

Sausage breakfast burrito, iced salted maple latte

I was visiting my brother at U of M and decided to try RoosRoast. I was slightly disappointed because what I saw on Apple Maps made it seem like they had avocado toast on their menu (they did not). I got a sausage breakfast burrito instead. It was a bit small for the price but very tasty. They also had two sauces to choose from (I went with the limey, not spicy one). The iced salted maple latte was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Like other reviews mention, seating is quite limited, but the interior was cute and fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff were friendly as well. I could see myself coming back for another RoosRoast coffee the next time I'm in Ann Arbor.

Coffee and breakfast sandwich lacked a little flavor but the staff was super friendly and welcoming!

RoosRoast is my jam! Lobster butter love. You must try their roast, it's amazing! I make sure to swing through Roos when in Ann Arbor. The staff is friendly, the vibe is cozy, and the coffee & tea is the best in town. I always grab a bag of Lobster Butter coffee beans to go!

We had a Yelp event at their Dearborn location. I really wanted the iced Adeni chai that a few reviews have talked about, but they were unfortunately out. So, I got the hot Adeni chai with no sweetener. It does take a little longer as they brew it fresh. You can watch them heat and steep from the induction stove right there which is pretty cool. I was surprised by how spacious it was. There were ample tables (that I appreciated they were wiping down on a regular basis) as well as WiFi. If I need to change up scenery, I'll have to stop by here. Also they had a whole refrigerated case of goodies. We went when there was a student discount (buy one get one free) so that was great, but to be honest, I probably wouldn't go if one of my drinks weren't free- the prices are crazy! But, I guess I can't complain given my normal Starbucks order is around the same cost. Drinks were tasty but the refresher was kind of bland. Again, if we're comparing to Starbucks, I probably would still choose my regular refresher there over this one. Environment was quiet, clean, and easy to study, however it was SO hot! I'm wondering if the heat was on. Not sure why that would be the case since it was the middle of September. Overall, I was a little disappointed with my experience. It did not stand out to me and was overwhelming because of the heat.
