    Rooster salad with Ahi

My FIL brought us here and can I tell you, 10000% I will be going back!! Not only was everything we ordered delicious, but the service was outstanding and the restaurant is so cute inside! As a family it's hard to find easy going sit down restaurants and this is now a go to for me. For drinks we got the Bee Keeper, the Perfect Pear, Blackberry Old Fashioned and Rooster Mule. The bee keeper was a LITTLE sweet for me, but anything with honey is a little sweeter than my taste. All of them were very well done and I would absolutely order again. Food wise we had the steak bites which was MORE than enough for a main, calamari fries, rooster salad with tuna, sausage and mushroom pizza and a kids pepperoni pizza. The steak bites were well seasoned, the sauces on the side were delicious, and the toast was tasty as well. The salad was ENORMOUS and definitely worth the price! The pizzas were good too, I'm not a huge pizza girl but I would definitely eat those again. All in all for price, portions, and flavors as well as incredible and attentive service I would absolutely come back to Rooster Creek.

We decided to try Rooster Creek Tavern on our way to the airport--OMG what an excellent decision! It was a whole vibe from start to finish. My daughter ordered the Tuna Poke--oh my... that's all I have to say! The presentation was absolutely stunning, and in her words, it tasted like five-star dining. My mom went with the BLTA and a side salad, which was just as delicious. I had the classic BLT with Parmesan garlic fries--everything was bursting with flavor, and the bacon was perfectly crispy (my favorite part!). My boyfriend ordered a side Caesar salad, and it was so fresh and flavorful. If you're headed through San Luis Obispo, you have to check this place out. You won't regret it!

Love this restaurant. You can eat inside or outside which is nice. It's in the middle of the valley, lot of restaurants and stores that you can go to. Parking lot in the back, and there's the famous historic swinging bridge. I had pacific salmon, it comes with a good portion of salmon, steamed rice and chiliflake broccolini. My husband got steak and chips, the truffle fries was really good, and the sauce!! We had the soup of the day, Italian sausage with kale and garlic bread. Our server is really nice and gave my in laws suggestions of what they could have. Definitely a thumbs up

Another dining experience at Rooster Creek. If has been awhile since our last visit. We called ahead ...no wait and upon arrival, we were seated at a table on the outside patio. The ambiance was casual and the restaurant had a nice "buzz" going on, as apparently other patrons expectations were being met. The nice weather made patio dining desirable and gave us a nice view. Our Server for this experience, Jeni Joe, held her own as far as her Customer Service. The highlight here was that the food was really spot on. Our 4 top table order consisted of Drinks first...a Cali Squeeze - 5/5 ( very nice and refreshing), a Mai Tai - 5/5 and a Beer. Appetizer: Nachos w/Steak - 5/5 (really great nachos, w/plenty of toppings for the chips), a Rooster Burger - 5/5, the Tuna Poke w/Side Salad - 4/5, a Cobb Salad w/Chicken - 5/5 and a Beet Salad w/ extra Goat Cheese - 5/5 (flavor alert...yummy). All dishes served really "hit the spot" as did the food presented for our previous visit. Consistently good food is a pretty good reason to give this restaurant a try for yourself. One of the members of our party happened to be celebrating a Birthday and Jeni Joe made sure he received a free Ice Cream Sunday (nice!). All in all our time here at Rooster Creek was well spent. On this occasion, in this Yelper's opinion...Rooster creek in Arroyo Grande made the grade and truly earned this "highly recommend - the food is worth the visit" 5 Star review.

Located in downtown Arroyo Grande, Rooster Creek is place is such a vibe - I can't believe I waited so long to make it here! They have an extensive amount of TVs located inside and outside, perfect for catching a game with friends. Their outdoor patio is expansive and just lovely; we love dining out here for dinner! Their nachos are AMAZING and I highly recommend ordering them if you are visiting. We order them every time we go. Their buffalo wings are also to die for! They have a large drink menu, as well as a full bar so there is an option for everyone! Highly recommend Rooster Creek if you're looking for an all around great restaurant to get a burger, salad, sandwich, or apps, and some delicious drinks!

Reminder to arrive early even in the winter when it's mostly locals! This is a great bar and restaurant that serves burgers, pizza, and comfort food. We arrived shortly after 5 o'clock and there was a 25 minute wait for the two of us and all of the bar seats were full. We ordered their basic burger and a pepperoni pizza to share. The burgers are half pound and come with your choice of a side. We chose regular french fries. The burger was cooked perfectly to medium well as we had ordered it. Juicy and tender. Comes on a brioche bun with the usual accoutrements of lettuce tomato and dill pickles. No dressing on the bun so be sure to ask for what you like. The pizza was thin crust and chewy with a crispy edge, We ordered extra cheese and I'm glad we did. The wait staff was really busy but our server, Summer, was friendly and gave us our time. The hosts were friendly and seated as soon as possible. It could be a little loud but that's to be expected in this type of establishment.

This light meal was fresh, and most importantly tasty! The outdoor seating was great with the heaters ! The wait was under twenty minutes! Our waitress Missy was so helpful when it came to all the questions about the level of heat the "Nuclear" wings were exactly on point! We had two different pizzas spicy Sicilian was savory, plentiful and very very good ! The laredos pizza had sweet bbq sauce, corn, and purple onions. Surprisingly it was Amazing !! A little more sauce would have been even better!

A couple of the drinks didn't quite hit, but the "Sunset and Chill" was a group favorite. The wedge salad isn't traditional, but it's delicious and a nice twist on the classic. The lasagna was a standout -- rich, decadent, and really satisfying. The portion looks small, but don't be fooled. Service was great throughout. They gave us semi-private seating, which we really appreciated, and the outdoor setup added a fresh, airy feel while still keeping things cozy for our group. For dessert, the toasted marshmallow torte was the clear table favorite -- definitely the one to try. The lemon tart was good too, but if you're choosing one, go marshmallow. Seemed to close early, 8pm, for a brewery, but I guess it's a quieter area. Arrived past 7, hoping we can still get food and we were still good for food and beer! Ms. Kristie was so efficient and friendly and awesome, hustling back and forth from reception to seating and dropping by to check on all the patrons. Like a one woman show! I went for the Peanut butter falcon since I like a good brown beer. The peanut butter was initially nice, but it kinda became tiring as the sips went along, since peanut butter seemed a bit much over the beer. Got wife the German Pilsner and that was excellent! Smooth with a hint of malty sweetness too! I am thinking maybe the Lawn Order blonde ale is probably going to be great as well, but too full from late lunch to consume more than one. For food, went with the birria melt and the salmon salad. Birria melt had some awesome authentic flavors to it! Kid devoured it with the consomme. I enjoyed a quarter of it, but too full, so worked out perfect since kid didn't want to share more either, lol. Salmon salad was perfect! Pan seared on both side for that wonderful crust yet tender goodness. Salad dressing with cherry and almond slices made this salad so enjoyable while staying lighter. Was not expecting such salmon from a brewery, excellent food here! Note that the parking lot, depending on which day you go, can fill up very quickly. The location is right off of the 101 and easy to find. We checked in and was seated within 10 minutes at a booth that overlooked the beautiful views of the Pismo Beach coast line. Our server, a younger black woman, who told us her nickname was 'TiTi', if I'm not mistaken, was wonderful. Her personality and hospitality was infectious and exceeded 5 stars. She brought us fresh hot corn and flour tortillas with a small cup of brown sugar butter and three different salsas to try. Everything was delicious. We ordered the surf and turf special which was a jumbo shrimp on top of a filet mignon that rested on mash potatoes and a creamy/savory white sauce. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. The thing that originally got me hooked on this place was their clam chowder. An ex-girlfriend brought some back for me to try, and it ended up being one of the best clam chowders I've ever had. That alone made me want to come try the restaurant in person. Now, every time I visit, it's a must-order. Honestly, it's better than any other place in Pismo Beach that claims to have the best. Zorro's is the one that actually delivers. Beyond the chowder, it's a full Mexican restaurant with a wide menu. They bring out chips and salsa to start, and they also have their own house-made hot sauce on every table, which is a nice touch. The food across the board has been consistently good. This last visit, my girlfriend had the carnitas tacos, and I ordered the shrimp diablo plate. I've also had their fish and chips, enchiladas, tacos, and burritos on previous visits, and I haven't had a bad meal yet. They also have a solid drink selection, including Mexican beers, good cocktails, and especially strong Bloody Marys and micheladas. The service has always been reliable. Even when it's busy, the staff checks in often enough to keep drinks filled and make sure you have what you need, including more chips and salsa. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and parking is pretty easy since it's all street parking nearby. You're usually only a short walk away. If you're in Pismo Beach and like Mexican food, this place is definitely worth a stop. And seriously, don't skip the clam chowder. It's the standout.
