Service is really bad, even on a slow Monday night with plenty of open tables our waitress really only checked on us once and we had to hunt around to get our check We got two Monday specials, my dad thought his wasn't cooked very well, and it's hard to mess up a smash burger. Their chipotle mayo is delicious especially on their steak bowl, which in highly highly recommend, but for $28 it's definitely a tough sell. We got ours via door dash and they had a coupon for buy one get one on the Cowboy Chili and that stuff was incredible, cannot recommend it enough, some of the best chili I've ever had. My brother always gets the Cowboy Mac and he enjoys it. They have live music and sports tvs inside but honestly I'd rather get the food without the crappy service, order and go eat it on the beach, makes the expressiveness worth it at least. read more

What a great lunch spot! I was immediately drawn in by the western décor--the walls were decorated with vintage cowboy hats and rustic wood accents, creating a cozy, welcoming vibe. There was ample seating, so we didn't have to wait long for a table. The menu was impressively large, featuring everything from burgers and tacos to mac 'n cheese and pizza. I ordered carnitas tacos with chips and salsa. The carnitas were perfectly seasoned with a hint of smokiness, and the meat was incredibly tender. The salsa had a fresh, zesty kick that brought the dish together beautifully. The serving size was generous! My daughter enjoyed her mozzarella sticks, which were crispy on the outside and gooey inside, served with both tangy marinara sauce and creamy ranch. My other child went for the cheese pizza, which was not only huge but also loaded with melty cheese and tons of flavor. Prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly and attentive. 1st time coming here, but can't say I'll be back. Pros: the chili was really good as well as the Hazy IPA. The vibe was ok also. Cons: way understaffed. I can't blame the server, she seemed like she was doing her best, but when you have 3 servers for 60 tables, that's a problem (and she was helping behind the bar). This led to a cold tri-tip sandwhich. The management here really need to rethink staffing. If you have plenty of time to sit and wait all night, great. read more

Both were delivered timely. Draft beer was properly cold and tasted true. Pretzel was big and very good. I love soft pretzels especially when they are deep fried. Pretzel was slightly crispy on the outside and had a nice chewy interior. I preferred the cheese dip compared to the spicy Dijon mustard. Staff was efficient but not entirely welcoming. I have always enjoyed coming here. However on May 24th for my nieces birthday we arrived at 1:30pm don't order till 2:30 and didn't receive our food till 3pm. Our drinks were never refilled, our server didn't check on us and the restaurant was not full or busy by any stretch of the imagination. When it came time for our checks the print and processing took 30+ minutes. I have never had to wait so long to pay for a meal. I believe the server needed additional training as she was nice but clueless to service. I will not bring my family here again. We are excellent tippers, and have removed this as a family stop. It's sad but we cannot afford to have another experience like this 3 hours of waiting for ok food and poor service. I hope Blast reviews this post and does some retraining. All staff should review their behavior. Rolling eyes (unacceptable) and operating with a sense of urgency. Good luck with other customers. We will not be back. read more

Popped into this place on a whim while traveling to the area. The staff were super nice, the bar area had a great ambiance, and the overall atmosphere was very cool. I ordered the Baja fish tacos and 6 garlic Parmesan wings. Unfortunately they were both underwhelming. It seemed like the fish tacos were basically just there fish and chips but wrapped in a pair of tortillas and topped with cabbage, pico and a sauce. They were under seasoned and hard to eat. The wings were sitting in a tray of oil since instead of using grated parm they melted shredded parm on them. Also, under seasoned. I would still recommend the place due to the atmosphere and the extensive menu is bound to have some good options! read more

Allen our server when we done one night . Shows no enthusiasm to serve or basically do his job as a server . Allen started getting asking for our drinks to order . And when he was about to place our main course order he said he'll be right back and took other table's order . Another server was kind enough to fill in for him to take our order to get it started . Very pleased with our groups' visit to 825 Blast AG. We had a party of 8 & the staff was very accommodating as one in our group couldn't sit at the high tables they have. Our waiter was great - prompt & friendly. The food was very good. I had the fish tacos, which was stuffed with crunchy fish (so much it was more of a tostado since I couldn't fold it). Their fries are the string-type; not my personal favorites but these could convert me. My husband had the cowboy mac 'n cheese (he was in mac 'n cheese heaven). FOOD: I only ordered one thing during this visit which was the chili cheese waffle fries so I will review that. Surprisingly great! Not overly dressed with cheese! Perfectly balanced with the chili and tri tip! Not salty either which was huge for me. The fries remained crunchy and crispy even with all the sauce over it. I will definitely order again. DRINKS: We ordered 10/10/20, Yacht Butler, Mi Amor and Grover Sunset. All were delicious and had a good amount of alcohol. I will definitely reorder these at my next visit. Tried this place again for lunch and it is consistent with always having not enough staff. Waiter will only come by a couple of times. Mixed drinks are not good at all, and the food was below average. I would not come back here. The menus are sticky and nasty. Just a bare minimum spot. I am assuming the beer is good as it is a brewery, but I did not taste. Came here twice to make sure it was not just a bad day, but this spot is consistently lacking. read more

I absolutely love love love this place! My Hubby and I found ourselves looking around for a place to eat that offered social distancing, a good selection of food and of course some adult beverages. We were able to be seated near the table that overlooks the street, roll up doors open and a heat lamp to keep us cozy. I tell you the steak was cooked perfectly and the veggies were chilled and fresh. The steak lay on a bed of spring mix salad with fresh grape tomatoes, redo onions and blue cheese crumbles. The dressing that comes with the salad is balsamic and I also requested a side of blue cheese dressing. My Hubby ordered himself a beer on tap and I ordered an Orcutt Sunset. After dinner we lingered and a staff member come up and offered me a drink, I can't remember the name as I am writing this, but this drink was purple it had gin in it and was served with a cherry and pineapple wedge. It was my lucky night as this was a glass of heaven. We liked this place so much we stopped in again on our last night in town and enjoyed different selections from the menu. I had the steak tacos and found the steak to be just as perfect as it was the previous visit. Perfection! My Hubby ordered a side salad and the cheese pizza. Again, the greens for the salad were cold, the serving size was ample and the cheese pizza was enough for him to share so he was able to bring half away with him to snack on later. If you find yourself in the Pismo area or Arroyo Grande area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a beverage or delicious food. We have been eating here once a month for the past several years. Always a good experience until yesterday. We always go during the afternoon, Monday-Friday, and get the happy hour specials. Yesterday was an experience. Our waiter came by and gave us menus and brought our drinks and when my wife said she needed another minute to decide, he became the Missing In Action Waiter from this point on. After a solid 10 minutes, when we almost left, the "manager" was walking by our table and my wife asked if we could put in a food order. He said no problem. The food arrived and it was good, as always, but had to ask for more ice tea as nobody checked. Our MIA waiter showed up later with the bill. After waiting for someone to collect the cash, I took the bill and cash up to the MIA waiter who was behind the bar and gave it to him, including a 20% tip, even though it was not deserved. We headed outside and were about 50 feet away from the front door, almost in our car, when the "manager" came rushing out and asked if we had forgotten about our bill? WTF. I told him we had paid the MIA waiter at the bar and asked him if he thought we were "dining and dashing"? lol. He said ok and headed back inside to check with the MIA waiter. Did I mention there were a total of 8 patrons in the entire place? The food was good, but doubt we will be back in the near future, maybe give it a year or so. Came in to try the lobster Mac and cheese. First, they use langostino for the lobster meat. Langostino, is Spanish for "little lobster." Although langostino's taste and texture are somewhat similar to lobster meat, langostino is not the crustacean Americans typically refer to as "lobster".
