Mango Slush with Boba for the Win
    Denise J.

Stopped by because we seen that they had boba slushies. I ordered the Mango Slushie with Boba and my granddaughter ordered the Strawberry Matcha with Boba. Both drinks were very delicious. I especially liked that the Boba was soft. My slushie melted fast though. I guess I wasn't drinking it fast enough. The inside is decorated very cute and there's plenty of inside seating.

This cute little boba shop was right next to Perspire Sauna Studio where I attended a Yelp Elite event. I decided to pop in for a drink to cool down. The place is small but cute. It's in a strip mall with lots of other businesses so parking can be tough. The girl at the register was informative and gave me descriptions of the drinks on their menu. I ended up with a mango type smoothie with boba. The drink was ok. The mango flavor tasted very artificial. The boba was soft and had good consistency. Overall, the place is cute and vibes but the drink was just ok.

Went on a Sunday evening around 5 and it wasn't busy! Worker was pretty helpful and drinks came out quick! I got the mango hibiscus tea with honey boba. I like that they have this flavor because I've never seen it anywhere else! It was a good even mix of fresh mango flavor/juice and hibiscus tea. The hibiscus part was a little too sweet so I'd get lower sweetness if that was an option next time. The honey boba was pretty fresh and chewy. I tried a sip of their peach tea too and I liked it because the tea flavor balanced out the sweetness better. Would come back and get the same or try something different!

I was craving for a brown sugar boba milk drink and found Rooster Tea on Yelp while in the area. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon - it was pretty empty inside with only one person ahead in line. Drinks were quickly delivered upon ordering (~3 minutes). 17 oz Tiger Sweet Milk Boba ($5.45): I asked to adjust sweetness level and was told they could include less brown sugar around the perimeter of the drink. The drink ended up still being incredibly sweet and some of the boba was tender while others had a bit of a hard center. Very disappointing. 17 oz Taro Slush ($5.15): All powder only with no fresh taro, drink was very watered down with just a hint of taro flavor. Overall, not a tea shop I would visit again as the ingredients did not seem as fresh as other boba shops.

My cousins and I decided to go to a boba tea shop after going to afternoon tea. I don't care what you think, it's different. I opted for the Hokkaido Milk tea with egg pudding and whole milk, less sweet because the pudding is sweet. My drink came out in a few minutes and it was good. The sweetness was still a bit sweet but I liked it. It's interesting that they use non-dairy for their drinks and charge extra for cow's milk. Glad to see they have the option I guess. I can see how parking in this tiny lot can get crazy but we went when there was a lull in activity on a Sunday afternoon. Service was good and they had some spots to sit which we took advantage of.

Great service, super friendly staff! The drink was pretty good too, would definitely stop by and try something else if I'm in the area! I had to stop by for my "30 before 30" challenge to go to 30 animal themed tea/boba places before i turn 30, because look at that rooster!

Whenever I step into this store, it always reminds me of the beach! I love how chewy their boba is here and the drinks are always consistently made. I love their exclusive flavors too, back when they had blueberry matcha!! The mango matcha is always my go to. The matcha isn't the best, but it's pretty good as a tea drink and the fruits taste fresh! The drinks were made quickly and the servers were friendly. I love how this place has outlets near the seats and lovely decor!

I happened to be in the area today and decided to try out this location. I ordered the mango hibiscus drink and was really impressed. It tasted fresh, fruity, and refreshing, with small chunks of mango that added a nice touch. The boba was perfectly chewy, just the way I like it! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe of the shop was cozy and welcoming. They also have the lunar new year decorations up which make the shop even more festive.

This place is in a quiet little shopping center. The inside was clean and decorated nicely. I like that there was cool art on the wall to take a photo with. I got the Jazmine milk tea less sweet with boba and enjoyed it. My friend also enjoyed their drink. I can't complain.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

We waited outside by the pick-up window after ordering. Service was fast for the doughnut and my coffee, but they seemed to forget about my husband's cold brew, so I had to ask about it after a few minutes of waiting. Not a big deal, just was surprised it took so long when it was such an easy order! We both enjoyed the buttery/salty doughnut, and my coffee was delightful! However, my husband said the cold brew was just okay and it was packed with ice to the point you couldn't stick the straw in the lid. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista!
