We found a gem of a place for breakfast. They first serve you coffee cake while you review the menu. I ordered the Country Breakfast, 3 eggs, hash-browns, 3 sausage patties along with 2 biscuits and gravy. My wife ordered 3 eggs, 3 sausage patties, hash-browns and one piece of toast. Here comes the surprise. Two gigantic cinnamon rolls covered in icing and melted butter. The best we have had in a long time. Add a cup of coffee and a Pepsi and the bill came to $21.20. OMG. So good, so cheap. Took a lot home for a midnight snack. Check in on yelp for lunch or dinner and now you get a FREE piece of pie. Our first and many more visits to come. Screw the diet! Excellent breakfast stop when driving from Oregon to California. The ambience is usual diner style which I found to be very comforting. Coffee on point, and I got an omelette with hash browns and a pancake on the side. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the spice was adequate, the hasbrowns were a little under done but the pancake was amazing. The right amount of sweet and fluff made the entire breakfast wholesome and I enjoyed every bite of it. Looking for a down home breakfast for me and my boys. This place did not disappoint. The cinnamon rolls are to die for but they do drown them in icing. Next time I would ask for the icing on the side or for half as much as they usually put on. Standard breakfast fare, nothing outstanding. First let me start by saying that this place has the best cinnamon rolls in town! That said I have to sadly say that the service is getting worse and worse all the time... We waited almost 20 minutes for someone to take our order at our last visit, then we we were done eating we waited almost a half hour for the bill and boxes.. Then when we went to pay the gal cashier kept calling for someone to come cover her because she had to leave, she was so upset that no one was coming to cover for her that she wasn't even able to focus on the amount of change to give back to us! I may be back, I might not... UPDATE: I returned on 2/10/2020. Again the food was excellent but service was awful. Waited forever to order, a half hour to receive our food, had to ask 3 different employees for water, napkins and a box.. never did get any napkins. One younger blonde employee was wearing skin tight unflattering, tasteless leggings and a t-shirt that barely covered her middd, needless to say she looked like she just crawled out of bed. I was just passing through and stopped at Roosters like it was meant to be. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and found it to be more than adequate in size and even better in taste. Of course with such a large selection I did not partake in other things from the menu but the orange juice which was cold and tasted fresh and the eggs and bacon that came along with the plate. I have already told my buddy who lives in Medford he has to stop by and try it for himself. The staff were kind and quick. The decor was something out of my grandmothers kitchen (being Portuguese and Italian roosters play a big part in our own family decor). Loved this place! The atmosphere was welcoming. The food was delicious, prices were great (especially because they are military friendly) and the service was excellent. They are known for their HUGE cinnamons which were SO good. Their patties were also one of the best I've had in a while! I also loved that this business was family operated. This place is worth the 5-minute drive off of I-5. The restaurant has a comfy, homey feel to it. The service was friendly and attentive - we were greeted and seated with a smile, and we never ran out of water or coffee. I ordered the country benedict (you can get it with poached instead of scrambled eggs), and my husband ordered the low carb breakfast. Not sure who's leaving these 5 star reviews. Service was ok, the food was terrible. We ordered the Denver omelet with potatoes and a short stack of pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage. The potatoes were good. The omelet looked and tasted like something you'd get at a Denny's. The pancakes... where do I begin? They were similar to neoprene. Imagine taking a bite out of a wetsuit. Dense and flavorless. Scrambled eggs were good (hard to screw up), and the sausage was very jimmy dean-esque. The cinnamon roll was delicious, it comes with copious amounts of cinnamon sugar and is topped with a generous scoop of butter, so if you're into going into a diabetic coma first thing in the morning, check that out. Wow! I'll say it again...WOW! This place is awesome. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. It has an old school country feel that left us feeling very comfortable. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food....oh man, the food was delicious. I'm talking everything was good. I had fried egg, bacon, country potatoes and toast. We stopped at Roosters on our way from Grand Ronde, OR to San Francisco. Found it on yelp and we did get a free slice of fantastic chocolate silk pie! It was a hit all the way around the table. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, husband ordered the country Bonnie and our son ordered pancakes. The food was delicious! Only complaint? Service. My son dropped his bacon on the floor before he got a chance to taste it, the waitress didn't come back around until my husband and I were both done eating. Our drinks stayed empty. The only reason why I still gave high stars is because the waitress was super nice, but she was the only one there! Super busy and 1 waitress! That poor girl was doing the best she could...it's. I've had roosters previously at my work (I had a simple set of pancakes and hash browns) and I loved it, however this was my first experience dining in. From the outside it looks a bit run down and "eh" . But I do recommend making a stop just to experience the decor and aesthetic of its inner walls at the very least. The service was poor, and before I was able to sit down or get a menu in my hands the waitress already wanted to know what I wanted to drink? Overly enthusiastic? I doubt it. Either way I saw and overheard the young girl use this approach on two other guests as they entered the restaurant, needless to say all of us ordered the same thing at feeling a bit bombarded too soon- water. Oh, and did you want a refill on that later? Sorry, the hostess won't be checking in to top off you glass. Also, getting your order taken and having your food brought out in a timely fashion? Not quite that fast paced at this slower country based restaurant. The food is decent though- it's not horrible but it definitely lacks what I would usually find more mouthwatering.. but again, this entire restaurant has more of a slow paced, brusque attitude to it. I highly recommend giving it a try if nothing else than the giant cinnamon roll and taking pictures of all of the neat memorabilia. read more

Ok so I'm only singing this a star because the lady who sat us and we thought was our server was pretty rude and very unfriendly. What an uneasy way to feel. I felt like she would've been happy if we just got up and left.... But then our actual server came! She was friendly and very nice. We had their country Benny which was outstanding.
