I love roosters. This is by far my favorite wing place I believe their wings are very large compared to some other places like a BW3 or Beef O'Brady's. The Waitresses are always really nice people are good they got great cold draft beer I got hot wings always go with the donkey wings with ranch and fries with no telling how much money I've spent in this place to be honest. Was overall impressed with this place. Not really my kind of atmosphere..but I can respect it for what it is. The chicken here is very good, very juicy and flavorful. I tried their fried chicken sandwich and I have no complaints about it. The service here was pretty good, and I was pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive it was for all the food that we got. I've been to Roosters one other time and it was just okay then, but my sister loves it so we had the sibling dinner meet up there. So, I was not starving so I ordered the half size grilled chicken salad,( last time It was too much for the full) my husband ordered the full one with no chicken. (he rarely eats meat) anyway, he changed his mind once the salads arrived. He ordered the chicken that would go in the salad and it showed up a bit later, no problem. I'm done eating (I'm still hungry, it was like 1/4 the size of the full). I get the bill and they charged us $16.00 for his salad if you add the a la carte chicken ordered later to the $9.00 salad. I asked the server, she said it was correct? My salad if it had been a full size would have been $11.99. I think that's still a lot, but at least I knew the price when I ordered it to begin with. We ate Saturday, November 18 around 5 pm. I ordered, my nephew and his wife ordered separately. The waitress brought my nephew's order, giving me his wife's order. We initially thought she just had not brought my nephew's wife's order. The waitress left and returned at which point we had realized that really I just didn't get my wings (but did get my pretzels) so we told her. She said my wings had been given to another table. She said it would be a few minutes. After several minutes she returned and said it will be about 5 minutes. After several more minutes, she brought my wings along with the checks and offer of boxes. So you forget my order and then when I finally get it, after my side has been eaten and my friends are still eating, you try to rush us out? I don't like to complain and really expected a discount or an offer of a free drink or something, but nothing. I didn't tip, but later I thought about it and talked to a server friend who agreed with my thought that probably the waitress forgot my order or made the mistake herself and didn't want to tell the manager, and who cares about a few dollars tip when you're probably making hundreds on a Saturday night. I care, that's who. If I find my receipt, I will add her name or call the restaurant. The wings are ok, I don't like how they leave on the whole wing to the flats because that part is inedible. The pretzels were also ok. I had a bloody mary which must have been a virgin. The poor service left a bad taste, pun intended. read more

After my daughter's boyfriend spent hours mowing to pay for dinner the server complained to him about the twenty percent tip he left her. She literally followed them to the parking lot and got his attention and said she lives on her tips. 20% is standard and generous and her behavior was unacceptable. Ordered takeout ... 3 orders of wings, dip, vegetables, sauce. Picked it up and realized when we got home that there was NO dip at all. We immediately called and the manager's attitude was basically, who cares. So we literally went to the grocery store and bought our own dip for the wings. We also complained on their website (rather than Yelp). Someone who said she was the assistant manager emailed us the next day. She apologized and said she'd "like to send you a gift card for the inconvenience of your last experience". We verified our address. That was 6 weeks ago last Sunday. Considering their attitude when we called, we shouldn't be surprised, I guess. A sincere apology and a refund (on our credit card) for the sauces we paid for and didn't receive would have been great. Went there today for dinner our server was great and friendly unfortunately i didnt get her name but she was so helpful. Giving us recommendations and everything so i order the Traditional Wings Hot with Curly Fries . The Wings SO CRISPY AND TENDER . SOOO YUMMY. The one thing that sucks was you have to pay extra for wet wings. Which I didnt mind but they weren't as wet as i hoped for . The curly fries were perfect to my liking . The food is amazing. Great flavor, fresh and delicious. The environment is casual great for families. The server however Alyssa was God awful. She was more concerned about talking to her friends at the next table then checking on her customers. She checked on us more when we didn't have any food, than she did after our food arrived. Place has taken a dive. The tables are "wiped down" but there are still morsels of other people's food. They weren't especially busy, but the waitstaff only brought us some of the silverware because they were all out of "clean" silverware - though one of the two knives was dirty. They have a cut out feature where you can see a portion of the kitchen area. The person was stroking their hair and prepping the food. We had some leftovers and asked for a "to go" box. The waitstaff brought it, but put the receipt/bill plastic sleeve holder inside the box as they brought it to the table. I love Rooster's but will never be back to this one. I ordered Makers Mark and they poured me Jim Beam, assuming I wouldn't know the difference. I did!!! This is probably also because you can't pour their pitchers of beer without spilling a good portion all over the table. Hey - get new pitchers! I almost feel bad giving this place one star...but I did have an awful trip to this place. The thing about it was....the manager was awesome. Every month or so we get a big group of family together for dinner out somewhere. This month we picked Roosters. There were 11 of us. It was a Friday night at 6 or 7. We got one waitress. And she obviously had a very bad night. I really feel bad for her. Because, I get having bad nights. And, this was the bad of the bad. We ordered. 1 hr later (While we had to ask for her to refill ALL of our drinks) she started bringing out our orders...One tray at a time. 5 trays. One at a time. After everything had been delivered, I realized I didn't get any food. She didn't realize it, but I did. So, she felt bad. I told her what I wanted. She said she'd put it right in. In the 45 minutes it took for me to get that burger that I ordered everyone at our table realized there was something wrong with their order. Then...when they did deliver the burger...it wasn't the one I ordered. It was a little kids burger that I'm guessing they decided to give me because they had already told me it was free. (Pathetic.) So, as everyone began to complain about their orders, she started bringing out the bills. About half of the bills weren't right. We started talking to the manager, who again, was awesome. He delivered to our very large table $50 in coupons for our next visit. He told us to call in advance the next time we were coming in and he would personally take care of our table. (Again, he was awesome) But, to end an absolutely terrible night, the waitress lost two of our people's credit cards. They were found in about 10-15 minutes...but, still...ridiculous. Again, I feel bad for the waitress because it was obvious she was having a rough night. She was actually crying before we made it out of the restaurant. But, still...it was awful. So, I'll never be going back there. And, it's sad, because...even if it took almost two hours to get the burger I didn't order, it was pretty tasty. read more

I wanted to give more stars... I really did. Stopped in while staying at the hotel that is right behind Roosters. Probably the best part of the meal was that it was walking distance from the hotel. Beer was cold and the service was prompt. I like wings. Tried them. They didn't seem cooked enough for me. I didn't bother sending back or saying anything because there wasn't anything else on the menu that grabbed my attention. Server was effective and pleasant. Went here for a surprise birthday dinner for my good buddy. His wife called a few days prior to our engagement and told the management staff that we have a large group. They said it wasn't a problem. When we arrived, we found the restaurant packed and the space set aside for us wasn't big enough to accomodate our group. This lead to tables being switched around not once, but twice, and I don't like to be moved once I'm seated and situated. Everything got sorted out and they were more than willing to work with us, as well as give us a discount for our troubles. The food itself wasn't too bad. I've had better. I've had worse. Everything on their appetizer menu from 3-7pm is only $2.50. I had the loaded potato skins and they were okay. For the main meal I had 10 boneless wings in garlic, and an order of cheese fries. Like I said before, it's not the best and it's not the worst that I've ever had. Will I be back? Maybe. The food was decent for the price but there's better options when it comes to the same type of food and atmosphere in the Milford area. read more

If I'm choosing the place to go watch the game, then it's hands-down, no question, going to be Roosters. The chicken wings are huge compared to the competitors, and there are ample televisions to to view no matter where you sit. The place seems to always be packed, so I'm sure there are many others with my opinion. Here's my criticism- if you call in an order, they really don't have a good pick-up process. The food is sometimes at the front counter, sometimes at the bar. It's always sitting out (not under a warmer) when I arrive to pick it up. It's always hard to get someone's attention to pick it up. Also the parking lot is jacked up....with deadend aisles that cause you to have to turn around awkwardly if there are not spots available. Try the chips appetizer..... a great deal! My daughter loves the corn dogs. I enjoy the Carolina Gold sauce (sweet) and the medium sauce (more of a rub on spice than sauce) is hot enough for me. read more

UPDATED: I've decided that really despite the food, the service/management is so bad that 1 star seems generous. Honestly, the staff there is so not focused on customers. I love Rooster's garlic wings. Seriously, I would walk uphill both ways in the snow to get them when the craving hits. All of the food we have tried here has been good. I like the curly fries, the onion petals are good. They have decent burgers for those who don't want wings. But the service is unbelievably awful. Occasionally its almost decent, but I have never gotten close to good service. It's very disorganized, on one trip we gave our order to two servers, and after we were there twenty minutes someone came over and told us no one knew who took our order. We hadn't even been given drinks. There's no hostess, so you just have to find a table and hope someone waits on you. The food has always been fresh and hot, but be prepared to wait for it. But I don't mind waiting for good food. Takeout is an option, but the wings are best fresh and crispy. The atmosphere is typical sports bar, noisy with lots of TV's and families. They have a good variety of games on. It seems clean, no sticky tables or food stains on the walls. Overall, its not a horrible place to eat. If the service was better, I'd eat there more often, as it is we usually get takeout. read more
