Very tasty, not spicy though they are in the upper half of their heat scale. Huge, and meaty. I could have maybe barely finished them, except I got onion petals too, so I ended up with leftovers. Baby K got fried mac bites, sided with tots and a salad. Polished off the salad and a bit of the rest, so she has leftovers too. A ton of good food at a reasonable price (even before the discount.) And service was excellent. Bella catered to the kid, and me, and was always there if we needed something or just to check. Plenty of napkins, wet wipes, extra plates, etc. Friendly and patient. Let me preface this review that this was my local, my place, my watering hole, when I lived in Westerville many years ago. But particular to this location, on this visit, I submit the following. I sat at the bar, and the bartender who waited on me (apologize I forget her name), was amazing. I have spent many a day both behind and on a stool, and I don't know if I have seen anyone command a full bar and the wait staff (no 2nd bartender was seen), without anyone ever waiting. I had the grilled chicken fingers tossed in standard hot sauce, with cheesy bacon wedges. Ample amount of food, hot and tasty, the wedges did not disappoint, just a perfect meal. After almost two years, I finally visited this restaurant for takeout. I ordered the 5 traditional wings with Korean BBQ sauce on side, fried mushrooms, boneless wings, and curly and regular fries. The wings were large, cooked perfectly, and juicy. The sauce was delicious. The fried mushrooms were plentiful and delicious. The only thing that I was not crazy about were the boneless wings (overcooked), and the curly fries (tough once they start to cook off). I was going to give 5 stars for service, but I remembered that I ordered side of curly fries, and side of regular fries, and was given double of curly fries. Not sure if they ran out of regular fries, or just did not care what they gave me; but maybe if curly fries were good, I could have overlooked. Everytime my family and I visit this location we always have a good time. The serving crew are always friendly and inviting as soon as you walk into the door. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always fresh and hot. The staff always keep the refills coming and constantly checking on you to see if you need anything. My first time at a Roosters and I was pleasantly surprised. The server, I think her name was Jordan, was very helpful and made lots of suggestions since it was my first time. I had the Italian Sub and a order of wings since that is what they are known for. Both were excellent!!!! Included with my order was a Margarita which was excellent too. I will be back!!!!!! Tale of two visits. Stopped last weekend for 10 traditional wings and kids boneless chicken with tots. Last week it was very good. Not great, good. Just got home with the exact same order. Wings were okay. Kids meal is inedible. Boneless chicken is cold, like out of refrigerator cold with warm sauce. The tots are shredded potatoes left over from lunch. Inconsistency, the bane of a restaurant. It should not make a difference who is cooking to the quality of the meal. It does at this Roosters. Thank goodness we have bologna, this is dinner tonight. All that said, they are known for their wings. They hand batter and fry their wings in a variety of sweet to hot sauces. the thighs include the end of the wing. This is a place I go if I can't settle on something more interesting because they have some good basic options and I like their apps. I'm not a wings person and I think theirs are a bit overpriced anyway. The food here is generally good, better eaten there than to go for sure. On this specific visit we could tell our food had been sitting in the window for a while. It wasn't cold but it wasn't hot and considering how long we waited for what was a pretty basic order, we can do the math. The ham and swiss sub is my current go to and it's got a good amount of both ham and cheese. I also rotate between the mac and cheese bites, corn dog nuggets, and quesadilla. This is a long overdue review, like three years overdue. But, there comes a time when it needs to be done. As I live fairly close this was I go to for over four years. However, the majority of the time I would get all settled in at home to eat my dinner only to find out that my sauces, sour cream, blue cheese are nowhere to be found.... but I see the price on my receipt! Of course when you call them tell you to come and pick them up, are you serious!? This is completely unacceptable, and tonight was no different, and this time I didn't even receive napkins or utensils (yes I'm eating at home however they don't know that).
