The wife and I finally got a chance to stop in and buy a couple of items. The food quality wasn't bad. The service was pretty decent. The restaurant was very dirty trash all over the floor and food was ingredient The carpet was made out of. What place is recommended by a friend however I know two or three places that are better closer to my house in New Albany. I'm not sure if we'll be back. I hope the next time we are back it is Cleaner. The Italian sub was good, but did not have any special component about it. It needed some Italian dressing and at least some or. Cheesy garlic bread was your typical cheese bread with garlic butter not bad though Sliced meatball sub, my wife described as dry and almost flavorless. The veggies were cut so big that they fell out of the sub and we're barely cooked Pepperoni pizza OMG I am old-fashioned I guess because I've never heard of pepperoni being put underneath the cheese this traps grease on top of grease. I had Bellacino's delivered via Uber Eats, as I stumbled upon this place by looking for pizza places on Uber Eats I haven't had Bellacino's in several years, as the location I use to eat at closed years ago. I didn't even know there was a location in Gahanna, so I was super excited to find this. The pizza was delivered quickly and still nice and hot when it arrived at my home. When I open the box, I thought they forgot the pepperoni, but I guess I didn't remember all the pepperoni was hidden under the cheese. The sauce was slightly sweet. The cheese was delicious. I have a guilty pleasure. Well, I had one: I liked Subway's seafood sub. Nobody else did, and they took them off the menu a couple of years ago. And I've missed them ever since. I've tried to make them with seafood salad from grocery stores and good bread, with no luck. Just not the same. When I heard Bellacino's had a seafood sub, I got there as soon as I could. I never really noticed Bellacino's. I'd heard of them, but didn't realize they were in town and that they were a chain (with only one location in Columbus.) It's a standard sub shop, but they have good bread and good meat and cheese, and good toppings in general. Good service. Reasonable prices. You can get whatever size you want, and they have many options. I got a full-size seafood, of course. I got an Italian as well since that's their specialty, and for comparison. That was "good not great." Good bread, okay meats and toppings. A decent Italian sub, but not a standout. The seafood sub is not the same as Subway's, obviously. The fake crab is chopped up more, so it seems a little more "real". There's a very very light mayo, not as heavy as Subway's. The bread is thinner, and separated so that there were top and bottom pieces (not joined like a sub bun,) so it was a little harder to eat. But, it was good, even if it doesn't quite scratch my itch. I'll keep this place in mind, and they have several other items I'd like to try. Carryout only right now. Plenty of safety features in place. And there are even some shady parking spots nearby so you can eat your lunch. read more

I ordered a meatball grinder with extra cheese and a chef's salad with Greek dressing. Both were very good. This is a variety of meatball sandwich I've always enjoyed. Instead of whole meatballs they are sliced and stacked. And where a typical meatball sub adds only cheese and sauce, this version adds green pepper and onion as well. The bread was perfect. Toasted and firm but not overly flaky. I expect a little more gooeyness with extra cheese, and I might order a side of pizza sauce to get my desired sauciness. In addition to the usual turkey and ham, this chef's salad added salami. All were high quality deli meat, sliced thin, and the ratio of meat and cheese to lettuce was spot on. The cheddar cheese was good. The dressing was exactly what I want from a greek. No real complaints, and I'll definitely eat here again. It wasn't cheap, but the food quality is very high, so well worth it. read more

I ordered a small pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and a 1/4 size Italian grinder. The pizza was pretty good... had a little bit too much sauce on it for me because every bite that I took, the tomato sauce dripped out...I had to take a bite over my plate so that the sauce would not drip on my clothes, which it did once. When I looked under the cheese at my toppings I could barely see any mushrooms... it was more or less tiny mushroom bits and pieces instead of slices. The Italian grinder was pretty good except that one of the meats, I'm not exactly sure which one, was a tad bit salty. Good customer service. read more

I was told about Bellacino's from a family friend and just so happened to be in the area, so i ordered online for pick-up. **According to the sign on their door, Bellacino's is currently ONLY doing carry-out, no dine-in at this time.** I chose their Meatball Grinder (added mushrooms). Based on the good Yelp reviews, I was hoping to be impressed with the quality of my sub. Happy to say, great sub! The meatball sub that was before me was not your normal spherical beef balls, but instead it was thinly shaved beef. Don't get me wrong, the tender juicy meat was wonderful; just not your typical. If it was a mistake, definitely a happy accident; damn straight, it was good. Absolutely spot-on amount of pizza sauce; most places ladle on the sauce, which is a HUGE personal turnoff. Bread was great, too. Soft, chewy, good taste. A few side notes: The sandwiches' sizing is based on "whole, half, or quarter"; the to-go boxes for their subs are a MASTERPIECE (one piece of cardboard, amazingly sturdy, bendable, construction)! We frequently order delivery from Bellacino's when the pizza craving hits. We've tried both the Meat Eater and Chicago Steak - both of which are amazing. The Chicago Steak has a special place in my heart - there is a buttery-garlic sauce on the pizza that just hits and all of the flavors melt together. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little embarrassed and sad that it took me so long to discover the deliciousness of Bellacino's pizza. Tucked away in a plaza off of Morse Road, Bellacino's is unassuming and easily missed among all the shops. I finally ordered it for dinner after always thinking "I should try that place." It was SO good! The pepperonis have a little kick and the cheese is not overly greasy which is a huge win. Pricing is pretty standard and they have coupons in the local ad magazines. Stopped by Bellacino's for lunch. Had a buy one get one free coupon. Tried the Italian Grinder it included ham, sausage, salami, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. Bread is always great. Everything on this tasted so fresh. It was a 7" sub. Also got a Chicago Steak sub. It had thinly sliced rib eye steak with mushrooms, onions, cheese, and garlic sauce. We ordered a regular pizza and a gluten free pizza for me. Wow this is great pizza! Amazing sauce and the cheese actually has flavor and the sauce is not sugary like many in the area which we dislike. The Gluten free crust is a thin crust kind of similar in texture to mellow mushroom's gluten free pizza, some crush to the crust but not the bottom, so not a fluffy doughy crust. A good size pizza for gluten free and the price was fair too. Delivery was fast, hot and no errors. Can't wait to order again soon! read more

Lazy Sunday House Rules dictate no cooking on Sundays so I headed out after the latest round of Summah Thunderstorms to give this Grinderhouse a First try. Sitting off the NE corner of Hamilton and Morse in a strip center this place is not easy to see from the road in this mixed use strip center. Not feeling very pizza-ish I placed my order for a Chicago Steak Grinder and upped it to a "meal" adding their oven baked Fries plus a self serve drink at the counter and found a seat in the small dining area. Since it was pretty slow I didn't have to wait long for my order to be brought out to me. The steak grinder while having a massive mound of chopped ribeye and cheese was kind of lacking on the onions, peppers and shrooms. Overall it was well seasoned and tasty steak but as the day went on I found out much of that seasoning was salt so I spent the rest of the day rehydrating from the "A-salt". The Fries, battered and oven baked were pretty good for not being fried, no ketchup dispenser so you'll be squeezing little packs if you're a dipper. They offer some pretty good daily chalkboard specials and I from what I saw being delivered to another table I'll be back to give one of their Zza's a try and get back with ya on that part of their menu. Just a note: They do offer delivery but minimum orders are $25 from 11a-2p and $50 from 2p-Close. For the most part this is take-out with a self-serve dining area establishment. read more

We had a coupon for a free grinder or free salad so I went it to get my son a grinder, so my husband and I could enjoy a "grown up" meal elsewhere. Well, they got us with their special of a whole pizza and a large grinder for $18, nuff said so with the coupon I got a salad and we got a bacon pizza, a large chicage philly grinder and a half A1 bomber grinder. It was served pretty fast though they were packed! This seems like the spot for families, every table was full of kids and their parents! The pizza was better than expected, no paperthin crust, real bacon slices and a good tomato sauce. The half Grinder was the size of a large Subway and the whole was 2 of those! Amazing! My husband had the philly and was stuffed, I did get to nab a bite and the garlic spread is what made it great! The A1 bomber was ok, but really the Chicage is the best, spread with butter and very generous toppings! They have specials every evening, other than that I wouldn't bother since a grinder is about $12 and so is the pizza. Fast, descent, family friendly meal, what a pleasant suprise! read more

This place was interesting. It's near the Dollar Tree in a little shopping area off Hamilton road. They have daily specials. On Sunday, it's $15.99 for a large 16" 1-topping pizza and cheesy bread, so that's what we did; got a large pepperoni pizza. When I got my pizza the first thing I said was "where's the pepperoni?" They put on the sauce, then the toppings, and then the layer of cheese completely covers up the toppings. All I have to say is THE PIZZA SAUCE IS AMAZING. I dunno what they do, but I loved the amount and taste of the sauce on this pizza. The pepperoni and cheese were good. The dough is thick, but not Jet's Pizza thick. I think their dough was a step above the average chain-restaurant dough and it didn't get soggy from the sauce at all. The cheese sticks were tasty: just the right amount of cheese and garlic on top of their pizza dough. They cut mine into 6 squares, which seems different from other pictures on yelp. Didn't realize this was a chain restaurant. I'm surprised at how high the prices are for a chain. I think if the prices were a bit lower, and they worked on the presentation of their pizzas, this would be 4-star worthy for the quality and taste of the pizzas. read more

I would eat anything this place made and choose it over anything a fine dining establishment puts out. They say the secret is in the bread, which is apparent and notable, but with this place I think the secret is in the sauce and the fresh toppings these guys use. Every item on that menu is magic. I've never had a better lunch than that time I first but into their Chicago style steak sandwich with a pretty close clone of A1 sauce. The pizza, the garlic bread and the sandwiches are amazing. I don't know how they make their dough, but it must be a million dollar trade secret and locked down recipe. Now they need to open up a Bellacino's in every part of Columbus, from Dublin to Obetz!
