Food was honestly horrendous. Burgers were drier than the desert. No bacon jam, hammered for temperature, not a smash burger. Green tomatoes were about 3/4 in thick and raw. Bread pudding was cold...like solid cold. I mean I guess it's a good Sysco bread pudding. Only thing decent was the chocolate tart which I'm sure is also Sysco. read more

I like the place very much, it has ambiance..we both had the same dish, seafood pasta, it was delicious.. Actually we both had diarrhea from the seafood pasta..the shrimp and the scallops smelled fishy..I HAD IT FIRST FOR TWO DAYS AND MY SISTER HAS IT TODAY AS SHE ATE THE REST OF THE PASTA YESTERDAY. Service by John was excellent, he gave us the full run down and menu favorites. He was very attentive and personable. Our dinners were pricey to not include a salad. I had the Carbonara but the duck wasn't available so I chose shrimp. The pasta was under cooked and stuck together and it only had 5 shrimp for $36. This is an upper scale restaurant in Clermont so be prepared to pay a little more then a chain restaurant like Chili's. The menu is a smaller side but we enjoyed it. We got the shrimp and grits with the added scallops. The shrimp and scallops were cooked beautifully. They would have passed the Hell's Kitchen scallop test. They have cocktails and wine that were also very nice. Our server James was very attentive and checked on us several times and did an excellent job spacing out the meal. It is a smaller restaurant that gives it a more intimate feel. The only changes I would make was it was a little warm inside for me and maybe a bigger menu. If you don't mind paying a little extra for some great food this is a great place. read more

Went recently for Sunday Brunch (hours 10 am to 2 pm, Sundays only). Nice place inside but seemed a bit dark with the blinds closed but maybe they have issues with too much sunlight? First off, I like that they served the water in wine bottles and then leave the bottles on the table so you can pour more yourself. I also ordered a hot tea and was able to pick the teabag I wanted from a wooden box. The water provided in the tea cup was very hot and stayed pretty hot throughout brunch. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer because I had heard it won awards. It was a large portion, with 4 thick slices of tomatoes with Boursin cheese on top. It was good and crispy but we felt most of the flavor came from the cheese. My dining companion ordered the Steak Rancheros while I ordered the French Toast Sandy. The steak was a large portion and cooked well. The only part that wasn't great was the fried tortilla under the steak. My companion would have preferred plain tortillas on the side instead as it was hard to eat the crunchy tortilla and steak together. My French Toast Sandy was a breakfast sandwich of scrambled eggs, cheese and bacon between two pieces of French toast. Syrup is served on the side and I wasn't sure how that would taste with the eggs, but I tried it and it did add more to the flavor. My only complaint was the thick slab bacon that was used -- it was fatty and the flavor overpowered the rest of the dish whenever I got a piece of it. We were pretty full at this point, around 1 pm, and our server asked if we wanted dessert because the kitchen was closing. We said no but I wondered if the restaurant typically closes early if they are not busy despite their posted hours. Overall this was a good experience and we will probably come back to try dinner. read more

We will make this a regular stop on our travels to Weeki Wachee, Fl to and from our home when we go to visit our daughter. I was dressed in sneakers because we were on a road trip and felt I uncomfortable but the staff was very inviting and made me feel welcomed. My fiancé grabbed the truffle fries as and appetizer which were very soggy but tasted good. He also got the carbonera which was essentially a cream soup. The volume of undercooked cream in the soup bowl was a bit surprising, but we were told that's their interpretation of pasta carbonara. The key lime bar was great. This place is an excellent, somewhat hidden gem! From start to finish our dining experience here was top notch. The hostess welcomed us in and told us about the happy hour option to sit at the bar and what dishes were her favorites. Then our server Jon, was just the perfect amount of enthusiasm and energy. He also offered me a gluten free menu when I expressed my dietary concern and got our starters order in while we decided on our entrees. He was charming and very knowledgeable about the menu. Food came out quickly and yet had a lovely yet unpretentious presentation. The ingredients and recipes live up to the description too, which has not been our experience at other restaurants lately. The flavors were everything we could have hoped for. We enjoyed it very much and even though we left completely full and satisfied, we couldn't resist taking a dessert to go. We hope to return and try more things in the near future. Even as we were leaving, a second hostess held the door, thanked us and welcomed us back. This level of continuity and teamwork are the art of service and we left feeling like we just ate dinner as guests in a new friend's home. And I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I can't rave about our experience now enough. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming and the food was delicious. At the end of the night, we were blown away that we weren't leaving with a higher tab, because that's how good it was - we expected to pay more between an appetizer, entrees, drinks and a shared dessert. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes as well as a seasonal beverage called summer breeze. It's gin based and fantastic. Can't wait to go back very soon because I saw about 4 other entrees I can't wait to try! The food was amazing. We had the pan seared salmon. The pistachio topping over the sherry glaze was perfection. We were so glad we ordered the house salad as well. It was exceptional! Not a regular salad but both feta and creamy goat cheese with champagne vinaigrette topped it perfectly. The homemade croutons rounded out the flavors perfectly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant as a first class establishment. Prices seemed high but when we tasted the plates, ut was worth every penny. Impressive new option to the Clermont restaurant scene...or lack thereof. Food was delicious, service very pleasant, prices reasonable, and overall quite enjoyable. Started with the deviled eggs and they were scrumptious. Simply constructed and I love the fact the chef focused on the flavors of the filling rather than dress them up w/ a whole bunch of accouterments. Really enjoyed the bacon fat added to the filling which gave it that porky smokiness w/o having actual bacon bits sprinkled on top. The eggs rested ontop of extra filling which I immediately scrapped up and ate after devouring the evil ovals. Also the pickles that came w/ them were freaking awesome. Pickling liquid had a nice mix of sweet and tang to it. I ordered the beyond burger and it was cooked perfectly. I usually rather the Impossible plant-based burger, but I was pleasantly surprised with flavor and texture of their offering. Got a tasty side salad instead of fries and the portion was very generous. A nice helping of the aforementioned pickles were also included. I would have included a pic of the burger, but I opted to go bun less and didn't think I would have done it justice. Overall awesome experience and would def recommend this restaurant for a lunch break or dinner outing. Only thing I wish they had to accompany their local craft beer selection, interesting craft cocktails, and wine selection is a cappuccino or espresso option to finish the tasty meal. There also is a private room for events which I'm hoping to use for future dinner programs. It's not that big, but about an 8 seater so something intimate. read more

Service: I normally start my reviews with the food, but the service was the star of our night, by far. And that's saying a lot because, I'm a foodie and the food was stellar! Summer was our server and she was also bar tending but you would never know it. She greeted us promptly with a warm and sunny personality that would rival the best summer day. She was happy to offer great suggestions with vivid descriptions that got us really excited to taste what we eventually ordered. And she even went the extra mile of learning what my personal taste was for cocktails so she could make me the perfect cocktails... which they were. I wish there was a Summer waiting for me everywhere I go. Food: The Fried Green Tomatoes were amazing! Super fresh and the breading was crisp and light, not greasy at all. It was a bite of creamy, cheesy, fresh, zingy, crunchy, savory, and hints of sweet yummy goodness. I'm not a super big fan of crab cakes but Summer said it was one of her favorites so we went for it and I'm so glad we did. There was so little filler mixed in with the crab that it was like it was being held together by magic. Super tasty and surprisingly light. The miso corn puree was the perfect pairing and I'm pretty sure they made that in a cauldron too. The radish salad added brightness and balanced the whole thing out. We finished by splitting the steak frites and the cook on it was spot on. We upgraded our frites to truffle fries and I recommend you do the same. It was super satisfying. I can't wait to go back. an Award Winning Fine Dining Scratch Kitchen & Bar cuisine. Not your typical chain restaurant. The service, ambiance, menu offerings, food quality and presentation certainly are on point. We're so glad it's here in Clermont and not have to drive to Orlando or Winter Garden. Compare it to Chefs Table and Attoc Door type restaurant.
