Best Thai in Denver! I've been here a couple of times and their food is always outstanding. The papaya salad with shrimp is tough to beat (need more shrimp though). Well I just found my new go to Thai food spot. Came here with my partner and ordered green curry, papaya salad, Thai iced tea, and drunken noodles. The green curry was phenomenal. The best way I could describe it is it tastes like a really great warm hug. The bamboo flavor really shines and it is both sweet and savory. So so good and I am not even a big curry fan. The papaya salad was also just spectacular-- they must put something illegal in the marinade because I was addicted. I asked for a container just so I could take the marinade home. I dipped cucumbers into it today as a snack. The drunken noodles was solid also, with the beef being very tender. Finally the Thai iced tea was great and really nice to have to cool down some of the heat that was building up in our mouths because we were eating the food so quickly lol As a note, we ordered a spice level 2 and if you tend to err on the little to no spice at all I recommend going down to a 1 because it does pack a punch! I ate here the other night with friends, and enjoyed it so much we came back again tonight. The food is fresh, great flavors, and good portions. The ambiance is warm and cozy, very homey - you feel more like you are visiting a friends home than sitting in a restaurant. Service is attentive and helpful. I'm giving this place the benefit of the doubt; they opened up February (literally a month - or less - before COVID) 2020, a really tough time. They then completely had to pivot their business model to all to-go orders, and I think they've had some growing pains in the process. A couple of times I've ordered, arrived at my pick-up time, and they've been running 15-20 minutes behind (not having called anyone/informed them prior). Some people were pretty upset, and luckily I live 2 minutes away & could just go home and come back. I understand the issue, but I know it's been tough. That being said, their food is SO GOOD. Authentic, but a little lighter on the spice than other authentic Thai places... which I honestly appreciate. You can tell they try to equate their spice level to what everyone who lives in Denver would expect a mild or medium to taste like. Everything from the pad thai, to the curries, to the pad see ew are all so delicious! You really can't go wrong here. Next Thai takeout night - go here! One of my favorite Thai spot in Denver! If you're in the mood of spicy, Ros Siam has got you covered. My go to is the drunken noodles, level "hot" with a nice cold Thai iced tea. Highly recommend the shrimp roll for apps, it's crunchy delicious and the sauce is addictive. The Massaman Curry here is fantastic (other menu items are great too) I can particularly speak to the mild plus with chicken. I really wanted to love this place, especially after seeing that they'd gotten so many outstanding reviews, but I just can't. First of all, they are pretty expensive. Two entrees and an extra portion of rice cost $38.00. The rice portions are also very small. Secondly, and most importantly, this food was REALLY, REALLY spicy. Let me pause here to explain that while I enjoy spicy foods, my husband doesn't, (although after 15 years with me he likes it more than he used to). We both ordered our food "mild plus" (me too so I could share with our son who loves curries) and that's definitely not what we got. My husband's Pad Siew was so spicy it was hard to eat - for both of us- so we ended up sharing my Panang. My curry was also very spicy (I didn't even try to share with our son) but was at least edible. It also had a nice flavor and the fried tofu was very tasty. A few more bell peppers strips would have been nice though, especially for the price. My husband called the restaurant to let them know about our food but since we'd ordered through UberEats they said we had to take up our issue with them. read more

Lives up to the hype! Came last minute for dinner and was able to be seated right away. We tried the veggie egg rolls which were very tasty and not too oily. The sweet and sour spice that it came with was great and made it a little more "exciting." For dinner, we tried the drunken noodles which is one of their specialities and one of the best drunken noodles I've had! Super flavorful with fresh tasting vegetables. We also tried the eggplant stir fry which was delicious. My only FYI is regarding the spice- we got a level 2 and 3 (out of 5, 5 being their most spicy) for each entree respectively and they were pretty darn hot.. would probably not get hotter then a 1 or 2 next time and we usually like a medium spice. read more

Okay, so I have a background in food, which makes me a generally tough critic, and I also lived in Thailand for almost a year, with insight into the wonderful world of Thai cuisine with some locals who knew it all, which gives me an edge when pinpointing the Thai food I really want to find and eat. It also, unfortunately, makes finding that food a challenge. From what I've experienced in Colorado, compared with that in places like LA, NYC, and Vegas (all food cities in which I've lived), the Thai food here is pretty subpar. Lucky for us, even pretty awful Thai food still has the advantage of being acceptably delicious, unlike the "wrong" versions of other cuisines. But this all brings me to Ros Siam. For starters, the food here is pricey. $16 for pad Thai? That's like trashy street food, not a delicacy. If it was cheaper, then the quality (or lack there of) wouldn't matter so much. But honestly, this food is pretty bland and flavorless, which seems truly impossible to achieve when using any amount of Thai spices, so costing a load is pretty unacceptable. Secondly, we ordered everything VEGAN, and found chicken in our curry. This is dangerous. If someone has a food allergy and orders a dish withOUT said allergen, the restaurant confirms and agrees, and then puts allergen in the food anyway, the person who unwittingly eats the allergen could be in big trouble and it would be at the fault of the restaurant. That is just NOT COOL. If they can't manage it to honor omitting a restricted food, then they should NOT agree to do so! So on top of paying and arm and leg for mediocre food, it was also a HEALTH HAZARD! Again, unacceptable. We also tried the Drunken Noodles. These were some of the most sober noodles I've had in a while. There was no sauce or flavor to speak of. The dish actually looked good, but it basically tasted like nothing. I had to whip up my own sauce in the kitchen to add to the dish so it would be enjoyable enough to eat. As for the Thom Kah, we ordered a large, but when I was finally able to pick it up an entire hour and 15 minutes later, they'd only put a small in my bag. When I asked about it, they said it would take a long time to make another because they were already clearly very behind. I said forget it, as they hadn't charged me the wrong amount, only taken down the wrong order. Anyway, when we got it home, no amount of doctoring was going to fix this inedible mess. It was sickeningly sweet, like simple syrup. I seriously could not get it down. Also, the veggies in it were way over cooked. I guess it was a blessing in disguise that we accidentally got the small instead of large. Thank you, next. The massaman curry was by far the best tasting of the dishes we ordered, but it was assuredly NOT massaman curry, and also that's not really saying a lot. It didn't have the traditional flavor of massaman; it tasted WAY too peanutty. I'm actually almost certain that peanuts do not make up even a single ingredient in a massaman curry paste, yet somehow they squeezed in a boatload--remarkable! I mean it DID taste pretty good. It just was not massaman. At all. So interpret that as you see fit. The sticky rice. Please, this was not "sticky rice," and don't let anyone try to convince you that it is. It's merely jasmine rice that is kind of stuck together. A huge difference! Thai sticky rice is made of a shorter grain rice and is steamed in pandan leaves inside a steaming basket, all of which makes the final product more of a glutinous-rice-cakey-mochi texture. This was just kind of dried out grains of rice that seemed stuck together, until you pulled a piece off to have crumble apart in your fingers. Okie dokie, then. If you insist, Ros Siam, if you insist. Aaaaaaand that concludes this evening's fine dining segment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for even your most basic Thai food urges. read more

The soup portion was the only one I was pleased with. Extremely small on the calamari specifically. Cashew stir fry had maybe 10 cashews total in the dish. Hands down best food in all of Denver. We ordered the wontons, shrimp rolls, fried tofu, pad see ew, drunken noodles, green curry friend rice, and the pumpkin curry. I don't eat seafood, but my friend and boyfriend said the shrimp rolls and wontons were good. Fried tofu was also good, but it was the least impressive thing on the menu. The sweet and sour peanut sauce that came with it was good. The entrees were the real stars. Best drunken noodles in town, but I will admit the three other entrees were better. The pad see ew and pumpkin curry tied for our favorites. They are both so flavorful and the perfect texture. The green curry fried rice was amazing and super unique. Best fried rice dish I've had. It came with nicely cooked eggplant and fried onions. We also ordered Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice which were good. I ate there on Friday, and I already can't wait to go back. read more
