I really want Rosa Maria's to be my place because it's close to my house and convenient. I give 2 stars bc everytime I've ordered- usually through Yelp/grub hub SOMETHING goes wrong. And to make matters worse my food would taste better if it wasn't cold by the time the staff gave it to me. A message to the managers- please ask your staff to just pay attention to detail... today I waited 20 minutes longer than I should have for my online order and was given the wrong order- I said my is Elle and was given Kasidys food- how are those similar-? so I had to drive back and get my 40 minute old food...the whole process for a 2 taco combo and one garbage burrito that I ordered 10 minutes before I got there Took a FULL HOUR out of my life.... I have been eating Rosa Maria's for over 25 years. Started on Sierra way in Berdoo. Fontana has slowly deteriorated. The burritos are getting smaller and less meat. The cost is going up not to mention 3.00 for a medium drink. Gentlemen please go back to what made you famous fresh rolled tortillas, walking through the back door felt like home. My grandson's school has Tiger Tuesdays where the students are encouraged to eat at a particular restaurant. This week was Rosa Maria's. It's a small place, set up like a typical fast food place. It was super busy when I entered. We ordered on line and arrived past our 20 minute estimated time so our food was ready. The hot sauce appears to be bottled. Everything we had seemed pre made, except the rice and beans, which were SUPER yummy and the reason for the 3 stars. I was hungry so it didn't really bother me. Then I took a bite of it and realized they forgot to add chicken to my chicken burrito SMH. I ate in my car just a minute after they gave me my order. Since I was hungry and there was a long line, I just decided to eat my cold chicken less burrito in my car. I figured it would be another 30 minutes to get my order done right and with a warm tortilla, so I just ate my food and realized I would never come back to this place. The Chile Riano burrito is absolutely my favorite go to. Stick with the regular size not the jumbo as you're gonna get the best of flavor in that regard. I've been coming here for years. The one thing on their menu that is a must is their Chile Relleno Burrito. It is amazing!!! It also has Chile verde and the pork is almost always juicy and delicious. I don't know what they put in their sauce but it is yummy. Aside from their Chile Relleno Burrito, they offer tacos, enchiladas, taquitos, menudo, and garbage burrito. I've had their other menu items, but they were sub par. Their menudo is a hit and miss. It can be really good but it is never consistent in flavor or the serving size. For $9.50 a bowl, I expect a decent size but it is pretty tiny. I also came in yesterday for a bowl, and they forgot to give me the tortillas.
