First time having it since seeing it for years in the neighborhood. Nothing to rave about at all. I had the carnitas burrito which had no meat and all tortilla. This place is kind of average for a Mexican fast food place. They have tasty shredded beef tacos and chile Verde, but their rice is dry and beans were not very warm. The salsa is delicious, both red and green. If I came back I'd order a chile relleno or garbage burrito because that's what everyone else said to order. read more

Absolutely delicious, some of the best tacos and burritos I've had, they're fresh tortillas are to die for and I love their cheese quesadillas, try their enchilada and taco plate, the sauce is amazing. Be careful when ordering the meat quesadilla though, it's more sauce and meat than cheese so be prepared for a messy bite read more

We love Rosie's. Every time we're in the area we stop and get burritos here. My fiance' buys like 5 at a time, brings them home and freezes them. (Meat, Rice and Cheese). The hot sauce is the icing on the cake, so to speak. I love the bean and cheese burrito here. I'm not sure why it's so delicious but it really is. My favorite Mexican food other than my Mexican mother's food. Seriously, the food is so authentic. If you want half hearted Mexican food go to Taco Bell but if you want the real deal go to Rosa Maria's! I always order the bean rice and cheese burrito with a side of enchilada sauce...heavenly. The food was very good, but they didn't give me any tortillas with my chili verde plates. This was my first time eating here. Maybe they charge extra for tortillas? First of all for those people that complained about authenticity and then said they got the garbage burrito, I find your review to be a little hard to believe. No one looking for authentic would order a garbage burrito. Having said that I really enjoy the food at this place. There is not much atmosphere so I would recommend picking your food up and bringing it home, but once you try this place you will keep going back. My favorite item is the garbage burrito. Should be called Rosemary's. This is a wannabe Mexican restaurant. Service was as stale as their chips. The XL garbage burrito was mostly tortilla, and lettuce. The chile verde didn't taste like chile verde should, in fact, they forgot the chile verde and was a bland pork meat (hardly any). I've been coming here for 5 years or so and have really enjoyed their food. I've tried almost everything on the menu and all of it is really good. My favorite order is two beef tacos and a garage burrito with pork. Unfortunately the past few visits have been really disappointing. I noticed the amount of pork in my burritos was getting less and less each time. My last visit, I ordered my norm and when I opened the burrito I saw only ONE piece of pork. It had 3 half slices of tomato as a filler instead. I'm not the type of person to return food as I know what they might do to my new order before giving it to me. I'll give this Rosa Maria's one more chance but if the outcome is the same, I won't be visiting this establishment any more. read more

I was introduced to Rosa Marias about 9 years ago and went almost once a week ever since. I've been to the other locations in the inland empire but within the last few years the quality has really declined for the Fontana location. Not sure if its attributed but I noticed the change when the teens started working in the back prepping the food and they removed the original cooks. Aside from order mistakes (no beans in a BRC burrito for ex) but my biggest problem is the amount of food they give you now while the price stays the same. I use to get HUGE burritos and now my BRC burritos look like the Jr burritos. Half the time the rice or beans are clearly reheated and its extremely disappointing. They have lost my business for awhile now and my family as well after going a few days ago and ordering overpriced sad little plates. I'd rather go to Miguels, another Rosa location, or Tacos Xalisco in Fontana. read more

I am a picky eater and I have been eating Rosa Maria's since college in 1987 so that should tell you how much I like this place. I drive by a thousand Mexican restaurants to eat at the location nearest to me in Fontana. Thank god I no longer have to drive the 80 mile round trip to get my fix at the San Bernardino location near Cal State. My favorite has always been the hard shelled shredded beef taco which I now have my son hooked on. The chile relleno burrito is awesome with just the perfect thickness on the egg battered coating and a tender chile stuffed with cheese which is surrounded with chunks of pork and a green sauce all tightly wrapped in warm hand made flour tortilla. MMMM. The beef enchilada has the best sauce I have ever had and is paired well with sliced tomatoes. You can't be considered a legitimate Mexican food restaurant if you can't do rice and beans well and Rosa's does them both well. Even their Coke is good. They don't jip you cutting back on the carbonation or syrup like so many places do just save a buck. There is nothing fancy about the place but it is clean, well run and has had many of the same employees for years which says something about how they treat their people. Go there. Eat the food.
