This place is seriously a Mexican Food restaurant joke. The blonde girls that work here have no knowledge of what they're selling or the meat that goes in the burritos. We asked if they had al pastor or carnitas and she said "uhhh it's like green or red" what the heck does that even mean. They don't have green sauce to offer and don't make carne asada burritos. Been coming to this place with my girlfriend a couple of times now. They are known for their garbage burrito but its not that great. I give the restaurant five stars for the chili rellano with green pork sauce. This burrito is big and full of flavor. Taste is awesome has a lot of cheese and big chunks of pork. Every Time we have came the place is usually pretty busy but their service is very efficient and quick. Tried this place cause I was craving mexican food and it was close. I got the garbage burrito And it took a while to come out so I thought itd be huge! Wrong.. it wasnt really that big. It was good in that it had a bunch of stuff in it but the meat was kind of dry. I used so much salsa, which I really dont have a problem with, but id like to have used less and really tasted the filling. I'd still come back though. But not my number one. read more

Rosa Maria's a Mexican restaurant in which I grew up with back where I was raised on 40th St. I've long since moved to the high desert. Not convenient to travel down the hill. In rare instances I do I'll stoping in the Rosa Marias off the 15. The last 3x's it's been poor in that I spent a decent amount for my family to eat there. The burritos are most tough tortilla and what makes it worse they use two instead of one fresh soft home made tortillas the way they used to make it. The filling is dry. This time we all ordered the garbage burrito which was filled with very dry beans. These burritos are nowhere close to the traditional ones of years past. read more

I went here after reading Yelp reviews and I got mislead. This place is not authentic. Their "Garbage burrito" there is nothing out of the ordinary about it. Only has chicken lettuce tomato rice beans and onion. A regular size burrito is like a big taco. Honestly I did not like it. I prefer del taco. It's alright if you consider it a fast food place like jack in the box n del taco. They made the food so fast! For $16 and some change I got 2 reg. Drinks and 2 garbage burritos. I feel it was over pieced for the quality of food I got. It made my stomach feel sick. Maybe cause they were closing already. Most likely won't be going again. read more

Okay, gave this location about 5 tries. Rosa Maria's is a family business, so I think they gave this one to the lazy nephew and put it as far away from the Berdoo store as they could. Rosa Maria's ANYWHERE is not what it was in the 80's so if you're expecting that ride down memory lane, you're going to be sorely disappointed. The burritos are much smaller now. It's not as good at any location. This location is the worst. The employees seem bored, pissed off, or generally absent minded. The original family is retired and/or pushing up celantro patches at Hermosa Cemetery. I still go to Berdoo and Highland when I can, but it's not the same. read more

A friend of mine introduced me to Rosa Maria's years ago. After being away from the area for several years, I am happy that Rosa Maria's is an option again. I have never strayed from the Garbage burrito. The location is not convenient to me but when I am in the area it is definitely at the top of my list of casual Mexican food. We stopped in here on the way to Ozzfest at San Manuel Amphitheater, and I'm glad we did. I got the beef taco and beef enchilada combo plate that comes with rice and beans. Everything was excellent, and reasonably priced. It's a good alternative to more pedestrian fast food. read more

It's just not the same as it was when I went to Cal State San Bernardino back in 1990. The meat used to be big chunks and the cheese was melted with plenty of hot sauce. Now the meat is bland and the cheese isn't even melted. I live in Las Vegas now but keep giving this place a chance every trip back to Ca. read more
