This place serves a good local pizza, along with other Italian fare. Brick oven is available and is pretty good too, though you may need a translator if you don't have a printed menu. I've walked through the snow on two separate occasions to get to Rosa Rosa for a slice of spaghetti pie... that's how good it is. The rest of the pizza, apps, etc are also good. They have reasonable prices and nice student discounts. read more

Love this family-owned restaurant; it's NOT just pizza: they have a full, standard Italian-style menu of pasta and protein dishes, as well as their renowned pizzas. I've had almost all their different kinds of pizza, and have to say that across the board I love their pizza-from the inventive pasta pizza to the very thick crust roasted veggie pizza, Rosa Rosa wins at satisfying my pizza cravings. I tried the acclaimed Spaghetti Pizza. At first glance, it was gigantic. Eating it, it did stay together relatively good; there's a lot of dough holding the spaghetti on the pizza. Taste wise, I was not overly impressed. It was a little bland, there was little to no bang. It was literally just noodles, a little sauce, and dough. I don't believe there was much cheese or sauce on the pizza (a side cup of sauce is included). I guess I was expecting more, especially considering it was $4-$5 for the slice (good portion size tho). I think I would enjoy their basic cheese pizza better. read more

Rosa Rosa does authentic relaxed Italian To-Go so well! They accommodate dietary request changes to their standard menu. The service is always pleasant and they hit a great balance between good food and solid price point. Recently they made a mistake on our To-Go order, which we only realized after we were home. They quickly remade the order & went out of their way to provide free delivery to replace the dish. - Good service Rosa Rosa! read more

First of all, this place has the most incredible plain slice I've tasted in my life. Something as simple as a plain slice already blows any other place in Lancaster out of the water. Also, if anyone thinks that when you order a whole pie, that they take one that was sitting out and re-heat it or add toppings is inherently wrong and should recant that lie of a post. For the people complaining about bad "service" meaning that they just call out your slices for you to get, is just absolutely lazy and looking for something to complain about. There are only 3-5 people behind that counter getting every slice and order for a line that goes out the door, so sorry if you have to waste your precious time and energy to get a slice of pizza on a paper plate. If you want something brought to your table, they have a sit-down restaurant that is literally, I mean literally, less than 15 feet from the front door. If you want the most incredible, home-cooked, and authentic Italian pastas or brick oven pizzas with wait service, the entire dining room available. Or even order some pasta meals to go. This dining room and bar were out of commission for a little while but they are now back in full swing!! The sweet, young waitress does a wonderful job of keeping the place running smoothly and there is nothing better than their faggotino pasta (ask the waitress when you get there). If you are really looking for a hole in the wall italian gem, the back restaurant of RosaRosa is your place. Sit out back on the porch with a glass of Chardonnay and bruschetta or dine in and have a few with the whole family. Finally, RosaRosa has come under new management over the last few months and you can already see dramatic changes. The service is better, the orders are more clear and mistakes are fixed without question or hassle. If you stopped going to Rosa a while back, it's time to give it another shot because you may be pleasantly surprised. My only advice is don't order a delivery. read more

I usually stop at Rosa Rosa at least 3 times per week for their lunch special which consists of 2 slices and a fountain drink. The pizza is pretty good and the employees are exceptionally pleasant. Only downside is that the pizza comes out of the warming oven extremely hot and remains that way for about 5 min read more

Perfect lunch food. An incredible array of pizzas ready to go. Each slice is heated and served on paper plates. I had a thin crust meat lover's, thin crust feta/tomato/spinach. fresh from an oven reheat the crust was CRISP, the toppings flavorful. Tossed salad has pickle chips, a genius idea. This place sucks. The pizza slices are tiny and bland. Crust is so thin and crunchy and cheese doesn't taste like anything.They offer a special which I got a few times because my boyfriend liked going there (i hated it) and I heard a worker there complain to a coworker that all my boyfriend and I got was the special. My husband and I stopped here for a slice on New Years Day - on a trip to Lancaster from New Jersey. Great find - as indicated by the number of locals, as well as the number of pizzas available for slices. The staff was friendly and helpful - especially good, because it's not easy to choose. There were plenty of other menu options, but everyone there was having pizza. I had a veggie slice - delicious! The crust was crunchy, but not hard. And the veggies were perfect - not soggy. My husband had the spaghetti pizza. We were told it was their specialty - and it was popular. It was a huge, thick slice with strips of pizza crust laid on top keeping the spaghetti in place. The slice came with a side of spaghetti sauce. My husband loved it. We wish we lived closer. Rosa Rosa would be our go-to pizza place. And we noticed they had some nice lunch-time pizza specials. We will never order from here again! We waited a hour for 2 meals that were $12 each. The portion sizes we very small. Not to mention we got 2 small slices of garlic bread. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I highly recommend not choosing this restaurant. We recently ordered take out food from here and not just on one occasion but SEVERAL occasions they didn't make our order! At all! After my fiancé was given a 20 minute wait for the food, he ended up waiting an hour for cold pizza and the wrong food once again! They sent us home with someone else's order. We got no apology except that they would run the right order to our house immediately (we live a block away) .. After an hour of waiting for 2 turkey wraps nobody showed. We called the restaurant and they were so oblivious as to what was going on. Finally the "delivery man" showed up ... With (drum roll) THE WRONG FOOD AGAIN. Without question my fiancé was furious and the delivery man said "don't take it out on me, don't be disrespectful and don't take food without my permission!!" --- so loud it woke the neighbors. Never in all my experience with food service have I witnessed such a disgusting moment. I'm so embarrassed FOR this restaurant. It has gone down in the dumps. I would be ashamed to represent them. Never again will we not anyone we know go back. They have all experienced similar stories. It WILL at some point happen to you.
