Rosa's used to be a Mario's Pizza location which is right across the street from the Rite-Aid in Great Neck Plaza. Thankfully, the pizza I received is just as good as the former owner's. The round Neapolitan crust has a nice sheen of oil. It's crispy and the pepperoni's are the new-fangled mini-cup pepperonis. It's everything you'd want in a pepperoni pizza with a balance of fat, crunch and carbs. If you want some pizza during these trying times, Rosa's is available and highly recommended. read more

One of the most poorly managed pizzerias I've ever been to. The cooks lie to the counter workers about how long an order will take. I went in to pick up an order at the estimated pickup time, and the pizza guy told the counter guy that it'd be just a few more minutes. That man said "just a few more minutes" knowing he hadn't even STARTED assembling the pizza, let alone put it in the oven. 30 minutes later, I decided that I'm never stepping foot in there again. I can overlook a restaurant suddenly being backed up, but the least employees can do is be HONEST about duration. Inconsiderate, inefficient scumbags work here. read more

Rosa's is in the location previously known as Mario's. The menu is different but they had Califlower pizza so we ordered in. The pizza itself was good, but unfortunately came cold because the delivery driver didn't use any warming box or even a bag for the pizza. We had a panini which was good. Delivery took some time, well over an hour for lunch, so give time and order early. Marios has an online food tracker on their website that helped the ordering process. I hope Rosa's gets something like that. The woman I ordered from on the phone was great. Very respectful and responsive. I will totally order again just because she was so nice on the call. Good people will make a business great. Hoping this is just growing pains of what will be a good new addition to town. There are a lot of pizza places here. The order always misses certain items (including things you specifically ask for, like extra sauce) They give excuses that they are under staffed ... I've cut off eating many foods and pizza is one of them. The few occasions I would have it, would be when I'm ordering for my whole team. These orders would be pretty big to cover everyone, the all have different tastes and I like to make sure they're all happy. We try different pizzerias depending on the city I may be in. My order here was for three different types of pies and three different types of wings, along with a bunch of other appetizers. Of the different types of wings; I wanted two orders each of mild, BBQ and buffalo. After being told they can only do BBQ and buffalo, I asked for my order to be split between the two choices. Being told that they can't do mild and it's the same as BBQ was a bit strange, since if it's cooked in a kitchen and not frozen then you should be able to make mild wings just by not adding BBQ or heavy buffalo sauces. When ringing up my order, I saw I was charged less then expected. The receipt only shows the amount charged and not the breakdown, so I asked the cashier to review. Turns out they only added one order of each wings instead of splitting my original order of six into three orders for each flavor, the person who originally took my order had an attitude and stated I ordered incorrectly. It was unnecessary for him to have an attitude and would leave a bad in my mouth no matter how good the food tastes. Lucky, the cashier had heard my order at the start and corrected this. I paid the difference, the cashier offered an extra order of appetizers to make up for the issue. The food was not bad, it was just alright. When I arrived at the shop, I showed the guy at the counter the order on my phone and he packed four random slices of pizza into a box right in front of me. As other reviews here will state, the quality of the pizza is positive (consistency of the crust, taste of the sauce, etc) so when I was given a variety of slices, I had the opportunity to taste some of their different offerings (a White Pizza slice, a Margharita slice, a Sicilian slice, and a plain slice). None of the slices seemed old or stale and even though they weren't warmed up since TGTG is only offered close to their closing time, I still very much enjoyed this deal. read more

I always confirmed with the manager that we want Romaine lettuce, & they put in the cheap Iceberg lettuce which they knew we did NOT want. I recently visited Rosas pizza in Great Neck which is quite the drive from home. Once I got there I was greeted by Angelina who is awesome! They have a very large selection of counter pizza along with a whole Italian menu! We ordered the mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, fettuccini alfredo, and fresh mozzarella pie! I am amazed at the favorable reviews that this pizza parlor gets. Either people are starving to death, they couldn't tell the difference between a piece of rubber and a pizza, or most likely they lost their taste buds due to the Covid virus. The food is atrocious. I was in the first category, extremely hungry. My wife and I had an order of baked clams to start. Each clam contained more soggy bread crumbs, that we wound up having a pile of them on our plate, that we had to scrape off of each one. The second mistake, was ordering an order of mussels. The dish was drowned in some sort of tomato sauce, and each one was so tough, that my jaw is still hurting. We should have known something was wrong, as it took over a half hour to get these disgraceful dishes. We figured that we'd give the pizza a shot, since i5 was listed as a pizzeria. Big mistake! The two slices of pepperoni and sausage, were served cold, in addition to not being able to cut, due to the rubbery dough. I've had multiple issues with this joint. Months ago, my credit card info was stolen and the only place I used it at was here. I learned to pay with cash from then on. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a pizza and the person on the phone was extremely rude. They hung up on me before I even finished giving my address. It put me off, but I still decided to order. Today, I ordered a pizza and explicitly told them to use my doorbell and not call. My phone hadn't been on other than to order. Over an hour later, there still was no ring. I turned on my phone to see 10 missed calls from 20 minutes prior. I called back to remind them I had told them to ring Buzzer 12. The man on the phone told me it wasn't an issue, and that he would turn around with the pizza. Then AGAIN, I received more calls rather than a doorbell ring. Not only did they not listen to instructions, the box I received was OPEN. The tape was not attached like it should have been. It was clear it had been tampered with. When I called to voice my concern, the man on the phone patronized me. No apology, no coupon or offer of a new pie. Just "Ok." Extremely unprofessional, horrible customer service. I have been extremely patient with this place, but this is the last straw. They are unprofessional and rude, don't order from here. I won't be anymore. read more

Food is fantastic but they are SLOW. Delivery Orders take about 10 minutes longer than the other local places. But today was the worst. When I showed up to pick up at my appointed time the counter guy went to get the food and didn't come back. Clearly food wasn't ready. No problem, it happens. After about 5 minutes he returns to tell me just 5-6 minutes more. 10minutes later (that's 15 minutes after pick up time and 45 minutes after ordering) I tell him I wish you had told me you forgot to make the order because I could have left and come back.
