Manager got on the phone, was rude, and handed the phone off to the cashier in the middle of me talking to him. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! The owner was incredibly unprofessional. Very poor customer service.... I'm new to Arizona and I had never ordered pizza from this place before. I called them this morning and asked if I could bring the pizza we ordered last night back for a refund because it wasn't what we wanted. Again, I have never eaten here before so my mistake for not realizing what I ordered. The owner literally said "There is nothing we can do for you at all, what are we going to do with the pizza you bring back?" I just asked for an exchange or refund...... He continues by saying "Is this the direction this call is going? We have great reviews and we show good customer service to our GOOD customers." We decided to try a new place for dinner the other night. What an experience!!!! I called in the order and 2 hours later and several phone calls we finally got the order delivered. They had written the wrong address down, and I would call and they would tell me they should be there in 5 minutes. I called again, and finally my husband called and asked to talk to the manager, and they said no... The order was wrong, they took 2 hours to get the order, I ordered a thin crust with Canadian bacon and beef, and the pizza alone was $26.00 really. I didn't even get what I asked for. They gave me a pan style thick crust with 1 topping only.. total bill was almost $65.00 for a 14 inch single item pizza and 3 sandwiches . Called twice tonight. Once at 10:18 pm and a second time at 10:24. They list a closing time of 11:00 pm online and in the flier that got delivered to my house. However, with both phone calls that I made, there was no answer. Furthermore, I tried to order online (which, again, the flier mentions online ordering is possible) to no avail. They go above and beyond to make sure that the ingredients that they use are locally chosen and of the finest quality. I love Rosati's pizza and have been to some establishments that have been sooo disappointing in the way of service and quality. This Rosati's does not disappoint. It is clean, modern and the service was amazing! They also have a great selection of items to create at home - frozen deep dish, sauce and other prepackaged supplies. I ordered a 12 inch thin crust for pick up. The person on the line that took my order was very professional and courteous and when I arrived the pizza was on time and the cashier was super friendly and helpful. I will be back! read more

Update: James father, the owner had given me a phone call this evening then explained to me his son was having a bad night, also made mention of the fact that they try their best to accommodate customers that are further out from their normal delivery radius. I tip my hat for him to call me, I will bump my review to three stars. I called this evening 95 minutes before the store closed to order a meal. I was answered by a gentleman named James. When I went to put my order in he said he would not take the order because it's close to closing. I told him that the store closed in 95 minutes and he said "you're 12 Miles away, come pick it up" I told him I did not want to pick it up. And I asked him if I was to order online directly through Yelp if he would take the order, he said he would not. I mentioned to him I had ordered multiple times at this time of night and he basically told me I did not. He then frustratingly asked me "ok, what do you want?" I told him I thin crust pepperoni. He sighed and said that's even worse. I told him I would contact corporate. He said his name is James and he owns the franchise. This is definitely not the type of service I would expect from the owner of any franchise. I will not be ordering any food at this location or any other location in the future. I utilized GrubHub for delivery and clearly indicated the address and directions for the specific location as it is on a college campus. The driver couldn't locate us and instead of stopping at - literally anywhere - to be pointed in the right direction, they circled the facility for over forty minutes. When I was finally notified via email from GrubHub that they were having a difficult time finding us, I immediately called the restaurant. The person I spoke with berated me and was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked for his name, he refused to give it to me and asked why I wanted it. I stated that I would like to file a complaint with his manager regarding his customer service to which he nastily responded, "I AM the manager AND the owner". At that point, I cancelled my order and told him I would not be giving them my business now or in the future. My only "mistake" in this was that my GrubHub profile had one wrong digit in my phone number - a fact that was previously unknown to me as I have never had an issue before now. But even if it did work, my office is located in a basement and I do not get good cell phone reception. This was not anything that couldn't have been sorted out and had an exceptional tip given had I been met with an ounce of courtesy and professionalism on the other end of the phone. Yesterday would have been the end of this saga, but I was notified today by GrubHub that the restaurant is refusing my refund request even though we never got our food. And even if the order had been completed, it would have been cold as it was over an hour past the anticipated delivery time. Long story short: Save your money (and yourself a headache) by choosing from any number of other locations or different pizza strains in general where they will actually value your business and treat you like a human being. read more

Chicago style pizza, many claim this and until today this Chicago native has never found this to be true. I moved 35 years ago and have never tasted pizza this good outside of my favorite's like Traverso's in Orland Park. Visiting my parents and I wanted pizza. Opening the box, the look and smell took me back. My first bite had me literally telling my parent's "they nailed pizza from back home!" I prefer thin crust and this crust was perfect. The sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of spices. The sausage was amazing and the size it should be. The cheese was the perfect amount, making the chewing experience amazing. My dad has cancer and has not eaten a meal in some time. He had 2 pieces and was happy. I about cried. Enough said, this IS the real deal. Customer service awful. I have been coming here for years. The last order was a mess. Initially they couldn't find the order. I wanted to add a ranch on the order because I couldn't find the option to add an extra one when initially placed it. I asked if I could add one. and was told no because they wouldn't take cash. The gal at the counter was more than happy to help. She was the kind of nice that you only get from grandma's who wear pink sweaters and bake cookies all day. I asked if I could write a note on the pizza box that they would be putting my friend's pizza in and they did let me. The best part is they delivered the pizza to my friend in record time! My friend sent me a video of her crying happy tears and she loved the pizza! Are you still with me? Yes? Good. Well she liked the pizza so much that after I ran my errands I ordered the exact same pizza for my family, because I just had to try it. That's right, I ordered twice in one day never having tried them before. Well my pizza arrived in record time again; Chicago deep dish with Italian beef, mushroom, pepperoni, and ricotta cheese! We also got the cinnamon sticks which they comped for us just because I was ordering twice in one day lol! Delivery driver was so pleasant and had an epic beard so he gets extra points for that. Anyway, let's talk about the important stuff. The real stuff everyone wants to know. Why was the pizza good? First of all the crust was perfect. It wasn't so thick that it felt like a soup bread bowl. It was perfect. The taste was buttery and it was soft not soggy. The sauce was so hearty and rich with the perfect amount of seasoning so the flavor was very aromatic and savory. It wasn't acidic like sauce from a can. They piled on the toppings which were also very delicious. The mushroom slices were large and in every bite unlike that shriveled up crap they call mushrooms at other chain pizza places. The cheese was good quality mozzarella. It was cheesy like cheese should be not greasy. It was what pizza should be. It was a culinary delight. If you still think NY pizza is the only pizza, fugetaboutit! The cinnamon sticks were not like those deplorable breadsticks or fried pizza dough they have at the Pizza Dump up the street it was like tiny cinnamon bites of heaven dunked in cream cheese frosting (frosting came on the side). Imagine if a Beingnét and a Churro had a baby. These cinnamon sticks would be that love child. I'll definitely be ordering all my future pizzas from Rosati's. My husband and I were really wanting deep dish pizza... I had never had Rosati's and my husband hadn't had it in years! We were really happy that this location was able to deliver to our house! A longer estimated time for delivery was to be expected since we got deep dish, but our pizza arrived ahead of schedule! We got one deep dish and one thin crust (clearly our eyes were bigger than our stomachs) but both were so delicious, we were happy for the amazing left-overs for lunch and dinner the next day! So I left Arizona and moved to Oregon for 6 years. All 6 years I tried to find something that would compare to Rosati's, never found it.
