Rosatis pizza reminds me of my childhood; we always ate it. This location is good, I haven't had any problems. I think it's a little strange that they store the credit card number. Always on time and cooked to perfection! I found out a few days ago that they have cannolis and I order two everytime now I love them!

First off this place is awful. Rude staff and undercooked or overcooked food. I ordered a 14 inch cheese for pick up. I get there and it's so greasy and burnt around the edges. They made a new one and now the pizza is undercooked and it tasted like rubber and soggy. So I said whatever and the girl behind the counter was rude. She was a Younger girl. So few weeks go by and I order for delivery and get a pizza and beef sandwich. Same thing happens and the pizza is really greasy and so overcooked that there was barely and sauce on it and the cheese was chewy to bite into with the crust being over cooked as well. Beef sandwich was dry when asked to be juicy and was room temperature along with the bread tasting old. I will never order from here again. read more

I can't say enough about the service from Lou and his staff. We held a banquet for 180 people at the RLB Cultural Center. Lou's and Christina's communication, attention to detail, effective suggestions and thoroughness was great. We had a basic menu and it all tasted great. The stand out here is the staffs dedication to making sure we were happy and going above and beyond to help make our banquet a success. Thanks Lou! read more

This place can't fill any order correctly. Two straight times in a row now they have given me meat sauce whan I ordered marinara. We also were given the wrong size salad last time we ordered. I was very disappointed. I like to support local businesses but I will never order from here again. I ordered last night online which said they were open, so ordered and my food never ever came. I was charged for my order and even got a text to track my order. I called, no answer. Apparently, they closed an hour and a half before I ordered. I've used the Round Lake Rosati's catering service for two special events in the last six months. The manager was extremely helpful when I went in to order and helped me figure out what size trays I would need, etc., for the amount of guests I was having. Horrible. Too many other local options that are good so don't settle for crap food and service from here. Being that I just had a baby THREE days ago, I choose not to order from my delicious preferred locations (Olandos, Bills Pizza. Etc) so I can decide delivery. I ordered through the Slice app since it saves my info. I chose a family meal deal for 2 pizzas, a 2 liter of sprite and garlic knots. I added on friend mushrooms with ranch and authorized the $50 charge. A ride delivery driver brought our order over an hour later. He non apologetically said he forgot our sprite. We saw we also had no garlic knots or fried mushrooms and was also OVERCHARGED by $12. Called and spoke to a RUDE manager named Carlos who said it wasn't his problem since we ordered thru Slice and to call them, they can call him. He refused to complete my order... thank you though dear Carlos since Slice then refunded my entire order so dinner was on you :) I'll stick with Olandos read more

I have always liked Rosati's but I have never been to this location. It was my birthday and I had a long day at work. I didn't feel like cooking so I stopped in. I'm glad I did. The location has a birthday promotion which I did not know about. Carlos (I think he is the manager) gave me $10 off my entree. The whole staff was friendly and the food is delicious! It was my first time ordering from this place and today I made a pick-up order at this location. I called the first time and I was put on hold for almost 5 minutes. I called again 20 minutes after and I was then put on hold again for another few minutes, but was finally able to tell them my order. They said it would take about 20 minutes for my order to be ready and I even got there 25 minutes after. When I walked in, I noticed they had a bell by the front door that rang loud enough for the employees in the back to hear that a customer had just walked in and mind you, there were also no other customers inside, but me. There were 2 guys in the kitchen and I waited for about 5 minutes by the register and not one of them hurried to the front to greet or even ring me out for my order that was ready when I got there 5 minutes ago. One of the employees finally noticed I was waiting there when one of them went to the front to answer the phone. The guy was on the phone for another 2-3 minutes while I just stood there. The same guy who rang me out did not even apologize for my wait and flat out asked, "what did you need?" Never ordering from this place again. They are extremely rude and obviously have no customer service skills whatsoever. The food was also average. Next time, I'm sticking to Lou Malnatis. read more

I was a steady customer until last Saturday. Is there a manager really employed at this location? I was ordering 2 pizzas. I was told I couldn't use 2 coupons, even though one order was really a weekly special. Asked them to make 2 separate orders then, as it was for 2 separate people anyway. The response "WoooWooo", like he was stopping a horse. Then I was hung up on. Called back to speak to a manager and got the same guy, who hung up on me again and said he was the manager! Who employees a person with no people skills as a manager? Would love to discuss this situation with whoever is 'actually' running this location. Told this story to a few people whom have had similar experiences with Rosati's. Because of this, you have lost a loyal customer! Absolutely DISGUSTED with their customer service. Cashier who is a young female had her headphones in and took five minutes to realize that we were standing at the counter. They forgot to give us half our order until we were walking out the door. When we got home, the order was wrong. We called and asked if we could pick up the right food and they said it would take 35 minutes to make...no big deal except we showed up 40 minutes later and they were just putting it into the oven. No one had any idea what was going on and didn't seem to have any urgency to help. I will never come back to this Rosati's. Completely disappointed. If I could rate it zero stars I would. Great pizza. My husband and I love deep dish and he was a little disappointed in the sauce because they have large tomato chunks and he is not a fan of that but I am! The pizza is expensive compared to a bigger, cheaper chain like Papa John's or Pizza Hut but it is worth it. The store isn't that nice but it's a pizza place, not a dine in restaurant. read more

I have order from the Round Lake Rosati's many time over the past years, it was our go to pizza place, but NOT ANYMORE! . I ordered dinner for my family and after 1 1/2 of no delivery we called to see where our pizza was. We were told that someone forgot to put the order in and so the pizza was never made. We were also told that there would be a credit for a free pizza the next time we called. Well the next week we called to order pizza again but this time we were told there was no credit on file. I asked to have the owner Lou Barratta call me the next day. HE NEVER CALLED! Also when I called and spoke to him he said there was no credit for a pizza that was not delivered, only if it was wrong or burnt, but not for a pizza that was just never delivered and he do not see why he should have to give me a free pizza for that. Let me explain it to you there LOU, as I also own a business, it is called customer service. Now you have lost a customer, so by saving $15 dollars on giving a free pizza you have lost hundred in repeat business. read more

Not a happy customer. Took 1hr & 25 min for the pizza to get here. I was told it would be within an hour. My family had to leave for a basketball game at 7, we ordered at 5:35pm. I was the only one here when the pizza came a little past 7. I asked Rosatis if they would give me a disc of $5, since we would have to reheat later. OK, I'll start off by saying I love Rosati's food and have eaten Rosatis since I can remember. However, my past couple of visits have left me speechless , almost.....so i order a large thin crust half pepperoni and half mushroom, onion and green pepper and light on the cheese. So i pick up the pizza and the box feels empty, I ask if the pizza is in the box ?jokingly and the lady behind the counter was not pleased with me. I get home with my self picked up pizza, and had to take a picture of it to believe my own eyes. The half with veggies had six mushrooms and the equivalence of maybe an ounce of chopped green peppers and unnoticeable onions. I won't even mention the other half. OK , so you say this is just a disgruntled customer. But you should know that I am over 50 years old and have complained about food maybe once in my life. I have taken a picture of this pizza and my receipt if anyone would like to see it just ask. After years of eating here we noticed the pizza crust getting thinner and thinner, the cheese less each time and the overall quality going downhill. So we would ask for thicker dough, regular cheese, etc... Finally, one evening after placing an order the owner calls back and says we would need to pay extra for "double dough". I stated we did not want double dough, but a regular pizza, the same as one can get from any other Rosatis. Needless to say, she wouldn't budge and was amazingly rude to a customer of many years. We stopped eating at rosatis in 2012 and haven't been back since. Am surprised they are still in business. We order from here all the time no problems. Til last night, I was very disappointed. I was told my order would take 30-45 minutes because they were busy (OK not big deal it's Friday night) then when I went to pick it up it was going to take an additional 20-25 minutes for the rest of my order. (No phone call to tell me so I didn't head there. My pizza was done sitting in the warmer box. I had decided to pay and take my pizza home to the kids (so it didn't sit there for 20 minutes) and decided to come back in 20 minutes. When we got home and opened the food Garlic bread was cold, chicken tender were cold, fries were cold you could tell these had been sitting for some time, if these were done they should of gave them to me when I took the pizza. Pastas we ordered were warm still. No discount was given due to the issue, the young kid did apologize but you can see in his face he was uncomfortable to inform me of this problem due to their issue which he stated was the ovens. Then a young woman came to cash me out, I paid half cash and half with my debit which she forgot to give me back and have to go pick up today. We normally order from the Fox Lake location, which is over 5 miles away and it only takes 40 minutes for delivery and food is very hot and delicious, and never incomplete!! read more

Perfect menu. Great deep dish. It's different than other Rosati's because the taste is fresh. So cheap too. And they serve veal. I am happy I stumbled over this place. It's great for pickup or delivery in the area. read more
