Update of an old review. When I went in today the lady at the counter saw that I was walking with a cane do to a labral tare in my right hip. She gave me her normal hug then she put both hands on me and said a prayer. I personally am not a religious person but have studied it in the past. I thought it was extremely sweet of her. Food is really good (I have only had the vegetarian pho, veggie rolls, and black pepper tofu). It's actually the best veggie pho I have had. Never really understood why people were big on pho until I had theirs. Dipping sauce for the veggie rolls is much better that what I get at another spot. Black pepper tofu is scrumptious! But, what isn't good fried?!?? Texture of the tofu is great. I would have given 5 stars, but they are kind of slow. Both times I have ordered carry out over the phone and told it will be ready in 15 minutes. Wait time ended up being at least double the stated time. Food is good enough that the time issue won't stop me from going back unless I'm in a hurry. If you have an aversion to hugs, or "God bless you," you might be a little uncomfortable! Lol! The owner is sweet, and will give you at least one hug, mention something that includes God, (God bless your family), and if it's near any traditionally celebrated holiday in the U.S., she will be wishing you a happy one! We visited Rose Pho during our vacation recently. This little restaurant was tucked away in the outskirt of Seattle. Having read the reviews prior to our visit, we expected the food to be decent. To our surprise, the food was authentic, deliciously prepared, artfully plated complete with vegetable art. The owner and waitresses were attentive. We had summer rolls, fried chicken wings, Thai noodles, garlic shrimp and okra, beef stew and fruit smoothies. All delicious, portions generous and prices were reasonable. read more

I love this place. Today was my first time going and I went with a friend who swears by their pho and regularly drives 20 minutes away to get it even though we have 10 or more pho places within 10 minutes of where we live. I am vegetarian so I usually have trouble finding places that cook the tofu well in my pho. This place prepared it very well and everything tasted super fresh. My friends and I got two veggie pho, a chicken pho and veggie fresh rolls. Everything was super tasty and came out in a timely manner. Not to mention our hostess was a sweet heart and was very kind and personable. I would definitely recommend who is looking for a good pho spot. read more

This place is great! Absolutely love it! It has a wide variety of food choices. The customer service is on point. They don't bother you every minute but the timing of when they come is perfect, right when you need them. The owner is super nice and loving. Makes you feel very welcomed! The environment has a family feel to it. I can't help but leave with a smile on my face. You can feel the love and care, that they just want you to be happy. The Mongolian beef was delicious! Definitely one of my favorites. It was full of flavor. Very tender and juicy! The honey walnut, sliced apples and strawberries with shrimp is a must try! I know it may sound quite strange to eat shrimp with apples and strawberries but the sauce really makes them work well together. The sauce is a little different than other honey walnut shrimps from other restaurants. The sauce isn't very sweet and in my opinion, it gives a boost in the flavor a of the shrimp, apples, and strawberries. The fried bananas and ice cream is also one of my favorites! The fried bananas was so good! I get it every time! There are so many pho places out there but this place is the one that stands out from the rest. If there was a 6 or 7 star level I would have put that. I've Yelped about Rose Pho before, but I have to do again, as I've tried a few more of the entrees from the Rose Pho menu since our first experience there, almost exactly 3 years ago, in February 2013. The measure of a great restaurant is the food taste, isn't it? Well, last time I raved about the delicious lemongrass rice and chicken dinner, and this time I had the Pad Thai...and it was also amazingly delicious! We also had the Pho, and, again it was awesome! I have to agree, as well, with my fellow Yelpers here, and say that we love the love that Trinh so readily shares with everyone who walks in the door. I've never gotten as many (or ANY) hugs, prayers and blessings from ANY other business I've walked into. She truly is a breath of fresh air, and it's comforting to see all the encouraging promises from God's Word on the walls, whether you are "religious" or not. read more

I must say, I've only been to Rose Pho twice. It's not often that I go to restaurants near my house, opting instead to eat a bowl of cereal at home. But of the few times I have ventured out, I have chosen Rose Pho. And since that time, whenever I work from home I have this internal conflict: Do I go have pho at Rose Pho, or do I have a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch? Through pure laziness alone do I stay home and eat cereal,when what I really want is Rose Pho. In particular, they have a soup - Thai Tom Yum Spicy Soup - which is amazing. It's very rich and I would suggest splitting it between two people, but if you're by yourself get it anyway. You'll be full about halfway through, and yet you'll keep eating it. It's very, very good. Atmosphere is straight forward - nice for strip mall, but not overly fancy. It's clean, and that's that matters...that, and the food. Both are great! read more

One worker had a bad attitude. You shouldn't work at a restaurant if you aren't going to be friendly. You should at least pretend to be happy. My cousin and I both order the chicken teriyaki. When we both got it, the rice was cold. It tasted old. The chicken was also very dry. We ordered dessert and they gave us plastic spoons, which is fine. But when you look at them, they look like they have been reused multiple times. That is terrible, especially during COVID. In SeaTac for work and felt one of those "you've-shared-way-too-many-airport-stranger's-germs" sort of cold coming on. The kind only pho broth, chili oil, and a good night's rest can help. Found this place on Yelp and figured good pho that was a 5-mile drive away was better than mediocre pho within walking distance. So happy I made the drive!!! The owner and staff are delightful. She really does take the time to individually bless everyone who walks through the door and say a little prayer for them with a hug (she must have an incredible immune system, unlike me). There is a lot of religious decor and the blessing - but if you're not a religious person DON'T LET THIS KEEP YOU AWAY! The food is worth it! If was my luck that spicy beef pho was the speci today. I order a small (that was at least enough food for two of me) and an order of 2 cha goi egg rolls. All was superb, even when it took me 30 min to get back to the hotel before I could eat it. Well-balances pho broth that wasn't at all oily (save for the actual chili oil - my pho was the perfect medium spicy I requested). Tons of noodles, which weren't mushy but tender, with just a tiny bit of spring to the bite. Lots of fresh greens and bean sprouts. The meat wasn't as plentiful as I'm used to, but it was a good ratio of protein to all the other players. And there was enough broth that I could have it for the next two meals and still have leftovers. Cha goi we're crisp, light, flavorful, and straight forward. I'll be back next time I'm in Seattle. I live in the area and have waited to write my review. I can tell you that this place has only gotten better since it opened. It is super clean and the flowers out front add a nice touch. The service had always been cheerful and the owner makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world. The food is fresh. Really, really fresh. I have had a wide assortment of the menu items and they are all amazing. Atmosphere: very clean, cute decorations, menus have pictures of you don't know what you're ordering. Service: I felt like they needed at least 1 more person waiting tables, but the 2 (seemingly young) employees were very sweet and would get you whatever you asked for. Food: My husband ordered the pho with thinly sliced beef and meatballs. The meat was good, there was a lot of noodles and an average amount of meat. The broth was very sweet which was different. Still it was good and hit the pho spot. He also ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, it wasn't very strong but it was good. I was feeling adventurous and ordered chicken pad thai at a Vietnamese restaurant. It was okay, had plenty of chicken. The noodles were extremely chewy which I did not enjoy. We ordered the summer spring rolls with peanut sauce, there wasn't a lot of meat in each spring roll but the meat was excellent. Peanut sauce was great too. I also ordered a mocha Boba tea which would have been blended longer as there was ice chips still in the drink. The tapioca was overcooked and mushy. read more

Literally the best pho I have ever had! I got the seafood and it came with huge crab meat, garlic shrimp, octopus, and fish balls. The broth is so savory and rich. I came in with a hangover (of course) and my headache was gone within a couple bites. Plus the service is amazing and the owner is super friendly.
