     plate of burritos with sauce

Rosebank Pizza makes the absolute best Grandma pie in this area. The crust is nice and thin, the mozzarella is plentiful & the sauce & herbs are (chefs kiss) outstandingly delicious. I also order their Eggplant Rollatini appetizer & chicken Parm wraps. Everything is so darn good & the prices are reasonable and the same every time I order. I always order on Friday's cause that's what my kids enjoy eating but sometimes I'll order 2x or 3x a week....I used to order from a different place until they started charging me a different price every time I called & I called on a regular basis, every Friday to be exact. The order was always the same however the price was always different. Every week, depending on who answered the phone I would get a different price for the same exact order I placed the week before. I finally got fed up after speaking with the mgr who could care less about customer service & losing business. I should go and speak to the owner but I don't think it would do any good plus I'm very happy with Rosebank...I speak to the owner or his son when I call. They know my voice, my address & my order practically by heart. If you live in the Rosebank, Clifton, Stapleton areas I highly recommend this place. "Try it, you'll like it!!!

Good pizza, not so great on the customer service side. I'd ordered a pan pizza via the slice app. Pizza was delivered and it was a regular pizza, not a pan. I reached out via Slice; Rosebank insisted they sent out the right pizza and I was wrong. I don't order from here often and I probably won't again; which is a bummer, the pizza is pretty good.

Very quick service and pizzas are fresh to order. I usually get the pepperoni pizza and they were quite flavorful. Great local pizza joint.

The store was small and there was quite a few people just hanging out and one guy looked he was on something...struggling to stay awake and his head kept hitting the table. He didn't even know where he was and most of the people weren't even eating or waiting for food. No one had masks on including the people making and taking the orders. When I went all the delivery guys were bunched up with no masks and hovering over the food. This place had way too many people in a tight spot. I was also a witness to a riff-raff person offering sexual favors in exchange for a slice. I was so confused. Another person even said, "WTF did I just witness??" Even though I placed an order 30 minutes before arriving, I still had to 15 more additional minutes. The pizza was hot but, it looked a lot better than it tasted. The cheese had a buttery-cheap taste and the sauce had barely any flavor. The crust was hard and I threw mines away. This reminds me of the dollar slice places and had the same quality. The chicken roll was cold and tasted old. It had no flavor and the meat was soggy. The sauce that they included was delicious though. I wished they used that on the pizza or they added more sauce. The prices are not bad and affordable but, the quality and environment is lacking.

The "Brick Oven" or Just a Fire Hazard? A Tony's Tragedy…read more When a New Yorker craves NYC-style pizza, the expectations are higher than the Empire State Building. Unfortunately, my first visit to "Tony's Brick Oven" with my sister was less of a culinary dream and more of a charred nightmare. I was in the mood for a masterpiece; instead, I got a math lesson in how many things can go wrong at once. The bad taste started before we even saw a menu. The person who greeted us was remarkably rude, offering each of us snickering, condescending comments. We were unhappy from the get-go, and in hindsight, that was the warning shot. But because I had a singular, non-negotiable mission for pizza, we stayed. That was my first mistake. I started with an extra cheese pizza, but it arrived with a crust and bottom so burnt it could have doubled as charcoal for a summer BBQ. Then came the 'Margherita' slice--a term usually implying fresh mozzarella and basil. What did I find instead? A single, solitary slice of regular mozzarella cheese thrown on top like an afterthought. Like, really? As a self-proclaimed 'garlicky kind of girl' who enjoys eating garlic straight from the clove, I had high hopes for the garlic knots. Sadly, they weren't just burnt; they were hard enough to be classified as construction materials. To add insult to injury, they were completely devoid of actual garlic flavor. For someone who lives for that pungent, zesty kick, it was a heartbreak in dough form. The 'service' at the end was the cherry on top of this overcooked sundae. When it came time to pay, I handed over the cash, and the guy stood there with an expectant look, clearly waiting for a tip. Considering I was basically paying for the privilege of eating carbon, he got lucky I paid at all, let alone in cash. Tipping 15-20% is standard for satisfactory service, but for a meal this inedible, a tip was the last thing on the menu. This was one meal that definitely didn't earn its keep. Tony might have the brick oven, but someone needs to tell them that 'charred' and 'incinerated' are not the same thing.

I'll start off with that I was able to get one, and I am so glad I did. Theres a warmth of nonnas that's made this one of the most unique dining experiences out there. You can feel the love of nonnas cooking in each dish and the joy it brings them. They have a rotating selection of Nonnas along with their classic Italian menu. The Italian menu had food I've never really had before, all executed so well. I had an entire lambs head (not for the weak), so I got to eat cheek, eye, brain, etc. nonna maria had to come teach us out to cook it but it was a fascinating dish. The rabbit was also fall off the bone which I was just so pleasantly surprised by. It came with potatoes and carrots so it just felt so homey. Nonna Elizabeth was Puerto Rico was the featured chef and she made salted cod fritters, which at first, I was like it sounds interesting, but it was so well seasoned I ended up loving it. Got a pork and rice dish also, and the rice was so fascinating. It had olives in it and the pork was well seasoned. They really make you feel valued and that you're in nonnas kitchen. Everytime you go, you're going to get a different experience with the featured Nonna. For real, try this.
