I'll be honest, the pizza was not very good here. It was very bland and lacked cheese. A nice thing I could say is, the mozzarella sticks were good. The guy at the counter appeared to be friendly, but again, the pizza was definitely mediocre. The place seems to have a very large menu, so maybe some of their other food items are better in quality. I wouldn't get the pizza here again--but would try the pasta or have the mozzarella sticks again. FYI--they charged an extra 30 cents because I used my card. read more

- good place to grab a slice if you're coming from walking the belt or getting off the ferry - it is not the best pizza around - the pizza slices are god but not great. The sauce is a bit on the sour side which people may not be a fan of - nice soft crust - garlic knits are good - mushroom topping is not that great. A neighbourhood pizza shop. The pizza is just OK - it satisfies the craving. I know there are better pizza shops but we often frequent this pizza place because it's close to our house. It's roughly 16$for a large half pepperoni and half plain cheese. If you want a pizza slice , it's 2.50$ for a cheese pizza slice. read more

Places location is awesome right by me, it smells great but the pizza sucks. Its just not good. Sauce sucks crust sucks no flavor its pretty hard to screw up pizza but they manage. 2 stars cause workers are nice and place is clean. read more

Just don't go for a slice right when they open or you might get a slice from yesterday heated up. Not where I'd order a pie in the area given hefty competition, but definitely good if you're walking by and just craving a slice. Beats a lot of slices in other cities, that's for sure. read more

Horrible customer service to start with guy in kitchen had no mask I ordered a meatball hero it was disgusting they should be ashamed of themselves using frozen commercial meatballs salty as hell they probably got them in Costco they cant make home made meatballs the cooks are that lazy and the owner doesn't care ???? I usually order here at least once a week if not once every other week. My kids love the pizza. Could be a bit bland but the chicken rolls and chicken parm hero's is what makes me come back for. The chicken is made FRESH! I ordered chicken heros from many places and it always tastes and SMELLS old. But R&N has it fresh. Also next to the park and pier. Good prices. Friendly staffs and delicious pizzas! Definitely the best pizza around the vicinity. My favorite is the pasta pizza. It's soft pasta tastes super delicious on it's crunchy pizza. They used to have pretty good cheese cake that tastes like Cheese Cake Factory but they apparently changed it. Fortunately that's not what it's famous for. read more

This is my go-to pizza place near my 'hood and i'm so glad to have it so close to my apt. The pizza are great but not out of the world, fresh, w moderate amount of cheese and fillings, reasonable priced, fast delivery service, and very accomodating and friendly staffs. I only had variety of pizzas, my fav is grandma's thin crust w fresh tomatoes, it was so good that i regreted I only ordered one slice by the time i got finished consuming it at my apt. Definitely my reg pizza place when i'm home in brooklyn! read more

Since I live only a few blocks away, this pizzeria was one I grew up going to. Unfortunately, the food hasn't been very good. The service is wonderful but the pizza and the rolls are just very bland. read more

My favorite pizzerias in the neighborhood. My boys grew up eating at Nicky's and Rocky's. I prefer to order my pizzas from the local pizzeria vs ordering from a chain pizza. We should support the local business. Plus the foods are good here why order somewhere else? Great people working at the shop. read more

Service is great, guys are always accommodating. It's a short walking distance from home so it's definitely convenient to grab a slice whenever. But the pizza itself is okay. Not great, not terrible. Definitely needs a recipe adjustment if I'm going to compare it to other pizza places like Spumoni Gardens but I will continue to patron Rocky and Nickys. read more

They charged me different price then what the Manu says and so I asked them they said the menu changed I brought a order of mozzarella sticks they charged me$ 5.00 is dead of $4.00 . Then I order another pizza pie they said it's $14.00 for 8 pieces and so I paid them and I looked at the menu it was large (6piece)=$12.00 extra large (8piece)=$14.00 so I asked them agin they say the price are different every day . Today is Wednesday they said that $14.00 was the price Monday and Thursday is the menu price? Seriously ??? I never heard of anything like that !!!! read more

Rocky and Nicky's is my kids' favorite pizzeria. They LOVE it and complain if we get it from anywhere else. If you ask other kids, they'd agree ( they are 9-12). It's a convenient pizzeria, not far from owls head park, and a few blocks from me...so in a jif, we know we can get the kids pizza. Do I like their round pie? Well, It's not my favorite...I've had better. BUT...their white slice is really good and their round pie that has fresh tomato slices and garlic is amazing. And their mozzarella sticks are really great too. read more

The pizza is definitely tasty and well made, if not a standout (in general the sauce is a little sweeter than average, I think it's great, but understand that it's not the preference of many people) and they always have an incredible variety of pies as well as sandwiches, salads and deserts. The staff is really what makes this joint my favorite though- you can ask for pretty much anything and they'll bend over backward to do it for you. Great people, reliably tasty food. read more

Pizza and sandwiches are of tolerable quality - where this business really fails is their customer service and honesty: For example - if you call and order a "Large" pizza, they'll overcharge you when you arrive, and explain that because of an error on their menu a "large" is really a "small", and therefore, by their reasoning, when you ordered a "large" pizza, you really meant that you wanted an "EXTRA large". They admit that their menu prices are false .. but they don't care - apparently the customer is supposed to know that the menu is a lie. Overcharging customers $2 at a time for mediocre pizza - pathetic. However, THANK YOU for the opportunity to order from Giacomo's! WOW, now *that* is good pizza ... delivered fresh and hot to the door, and cheaper, too. read more

I was coerced into ordering pizza from Rocky's. My family swears this is the best pizza in the area. Since I was NY, I was hoping to try true blue NY pizza. Well, I would have to say that my search continues. Rocky's was good but I know that I can get better. However, I liked the Sicilian style meatball pizza. The meatball is well seasoned with great flavor. I enjoyed it more than their pepperoni pie. I would eat here again and get the meatball Sicilian. read more

There regular slice pizza and rice balls are okay, nothing special. The fresh mozzarella slices are alot better. And their zeppoles are pretty good. That's because they make them fresh, right in front of you. This place is average at best read more

This is the first restaurant we've been to with 20% auto gratuity for a party under 6. But the borderline dishonest part is that the check that you sign tells you in tiny letters that tip was already added, but has huge font for additional tip and written out tip calculations, so it is very easy to tip 40% without noticing. Sometimes I do tip extra generously, but I don't want to feel like I was tricked into doing it! Looking thru reviews here, I see other people also experienced this, including people in small parties who were locked into the 20% when it should have definitely been 18%. :/ So close to a good experience, but ruined by tricksy billing.

The "crispy" golden potatoes were in fact soggy, no seasoning, and more mush than crisp. Finally the service was a "D". The fourth request for half and half was finally successful, again the salt and pepper took forever, was promised more water which never materialized, the coffee warm up never came. In short, despite the positive menu the execution was two stars.

I completely understand that there were customers waiting behind me and that the staff needs to keep the line moving. However, I believe every customer deserves to be treated with patience and respect. If I am spending over $120 on your products, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect five minutes of patience while I carefully choose my order. I truly love this bakery and will continue recommending it because the quality of the bread is exceptional. I only hope the customer service can better reflect the quality of the products. A little more patience and kindness would make the experience just as memorable as the bread itself.

A manager approached us and informed us that outside food was not permitted, even though purchases had been made. We were then asked to leave and eat outside in the hot weather. I understand that businesses have policies regarding outside food, and I respect the need to enforce them. However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business or the individuals I support to your establishment. I hope this feedback encourages your management team to consider a more accommodating approach when serving members of the disability community in the future.

His parents, John and Maria Cicero, founded the Original John's Deli in Brooklyn's Gravesend neighborhood in 1968. The Cicero Family created what has become known as the "best hero in Brooklyn!" Although location on the corner of 86th Street and Stillwell Avenue still stands, it is no longer owned by the Cicero Family. The family does own and operate two newer locations, dubbed "John's Deli Hero King" in Brooklyn's Dyker Heights neighborhood as well as Staten Island. After many years of working in the delis, the Cicero's son Robert began taking up the art of crafting exceptional pizza. When a location opened up down the street from John's Deli's Dyker Heights location, Robert seized the opportunity to turn it into his own artisanal pizzeria. I recently visited Dyker Pizza Company for lunch while I was cycling around NYC. I was trying out a number of Brooklyn breweries and pizzerias and this was my first stop of the day. I arrived just as they opened for the day. I told the employee that I'm from New Haven and asked if they pronounced 'apizza' the same way that we do in the Elm City: [ah-BEETS]. He confirmed that they did. It seems that from the late 19th century until around the 1950s or so, most Italian-Americans referred to pizza as "apizza" whether it was New Haven-style pizza or not. The employee explained to me that the pizza at Dyker Pizza Company is a hybrid between New Haven-style and the artisanal sourdough style that is becoming more common in NYC. Customers can order by-the-slice or whole pies. I was pretty hungry, and after looking over the menu I decided to order the "Pesto and Prosciutto" (ricotta cream, shredded mozzarella, basil pesto, prosciutto).
