There is also a bar area with TVs, which felt a little different from the typical Italian vibe, but it did not take away from the experience. Service was friendly, but it was a busy Saturday night and you could definitely feel it. Everything moved a bit slower, and we had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for the check at the end because our server was not around. We started with the meatballs in red sauce and really enjoyed them. Simple, flavorful, and a great appetizer to share. One thing I was not expecting was being charged for the bread. It was fresh and good, but it is not something I usually associate with Italian restaurants. For the main course, we had the cacio e pepe. The flavor was there, but the sauce was a bit too liquid for my preference. It is a difficult dish to get right, and while it was good, I think it could have been a little better. The tiramisu was absolutely the highlight. The balance between the cream and the ladyfingers was spot on, and it ended up being my favorite thing we ordered. Overall, good location, nice atmosphere, and solid food. The tiramisu is the one thing I would absolutely come back for.

So my husband and I have been here in Naples for 4 and a half years now, we've been to New York pizza and pasta, Palumbos, Napoli on the bay, and many other local pizzerias, but being that we're both from its Italy originally, we both agree that Rosedales is the best, and most authentic Italian food you can get in all of Naples. From the pizza, pasta, amazing creative and classic appetizers and wine on happy hour, you would be a fool not to check it out. The recipes are from the owner, Joe, great guy, his families recipes and they are all a gift from God himself. Not to mention the service and atmosphere, very classic italiano style atmosphere with classics like Frank Sinatra playing while you hear the exciting sounds of hot sauté pans clanking and the smell of the brick oven is intoxicating. Our server, Gaberel I believe he said his name was, big muscular guy, so polite and considerate, he was very engaging in what dishes are popular and what we might enjoy, as well as informing us that days special dishes. He was very mature and reformed in the conversation my husband and I had with him on intellectual topics. That I never expected a young man like himself to be able to talk about so fluently. His service was comparable to that of some of the servers we have had at the ritz, Brio, Sophias, and even equal to if not better than the server we had at Campiello, on my husbands last birthday. Place was slammed last night but it was definitely worth the wait. Some people complain about waiting 45 minutes to eat. They should try going out to eat in NY. Well, the food is as good or better than Brooklyn to Long Island and now I know why. Both owners are from the neighborhoods I grew up in and learned not only what good food tastes like but how to serve it. Great family atmosphere, great food and a friendly staff. Stopped in tonight to pick up a few pizzas and a salad as it was raining and didnt feel like cooking. I heard great things about this place at my salon and figured to give it a try. Great...Great...Great... is what it was. Great crust, tomato sauce and fresh ingreduents. By far the best pizza I have had in Naples since we moved here in '02.
