I was able to select a few dresses to try on and my stylist, Sara, had a few in mind as well. Coincidentally, we both picked out a few of the same dresses. Luv Bridal takes such good care of their brides. I left loving a dress and they told me to think about it. I never felt pressured to buy the same day to lock in a particular pricing. While some were out of my budget or would have required alterations I wasn't willing to do, I ended up finding the perfect dress--already my size, needing little to no alterations, and within my budget. We were honestly amazed. I also really appreciated that they offer to hold a dress for a short period of time (either a few hours or up to a day). When you're making a big purchase decision--especially since the dresses are final sale--it's refreshing and reassuring to see a business that encourages you not to rush. It felt honest and thoughtful, not like they were just trying to make a quick sale. The only downside was the fitting room lighting. It isn't very flattering and doesn't show well on camera, which makes it hard if you're FaceTiming family or friends for a second opinion. I'd recommend stepping toward the front of the store near the window for better lighting. As a suggestion to the store, improving the fitting room lighting would make a huge difference and would also allow customers to feel more comfortable without having to walk to the front of the shop or be visible from outside. The dresses they receive are either from other bridal stores, sample sales, or on consignment, so the prices were super reasonable. I brought along two people and they were comfortably situated while I tried on dresses. I went through the racks and Trinity helped pill out the ones I was interested in, and then helped swap them out in the dressing room so that it wouldn't be too overwhelming. At the first store, the consultant just kept showing me puffy dresses and wasn't really listening to what I was saying. I had a second appointment, I am so glad I went to that one. My bridesmaids, my mother and I walked into Here Comes The Bride And Groom and was greeted by my consultant, Shelley - she is AMAZING!!! She asked us to sit down and took a moment to talk to me about what I was looking for and what I wanted to look like on my special day. I told her I really didn't know. I just wanted to look pretty and I wanted to feel comfortable. She then said no problem and brought me back with her to go look at dresses and start trying on. I finally understood what people were talking about when they say when you put it on and it's the one you just know. I didn't pick the dress out my consultant Shelley did, she knew immediately what would look good on me and asked me to please try it on. I went out to show my mom and my bridesmaids, and before I knew it I was ringing a bell and holding a sign that said I said YES TO TH DRESS!!!!! A huge, heartfelt thank you to Karla, the seamstress, who truly went above and beyond in every possible way. Her attention to detail is unmatched, she made sure every inch of my dress fit perfectly and looked flawless. But beyond her talent, it was her energy and care that made the experience so special. She brought excitement and positivity to every single appointment and always made me feel beautiful and confident. As a very Type A bride, I was definitely anxious and stressed throughout the process, but Karla constantly reassured me that everything would come together and she was right. Every appointment felt supportive and uplifting, and by the end, my dress was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. And let me just say Karla made sure this dress was indestructible. Based on the fitted style I chose, I truly didn't think I'd even be able to sit, let alone move comfortably. I was so worried about the zipper or seams giving out, but not even close. I danced all the way down to the floor, moved freely all night, and somehow even managed to lift myself up and over a fence for the most stunning cliffside photos.
