Food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. I've left a past review about this as well, but the draft beer system is horrible. I had to send my beer back and get a bottled beer because it was flat. Fix that and this is easily 5 stars and would be my go to. Seriously I can't be more clear about this, you need to fix your draft beer system. read more

This family owned restaurant in Canton is a nice little neighborhood gem. The staff is welcoming and warm. Our waiter Colin was a bit aloof and not as prompt nor attentive as he could be, but the food was amazing. We had the Rosetta salad and the Chicken parmigiana and both dishes were excellent. The ingredients taste fresh and wonderful. As you wait for the food, you get a bread basket (only 4 small pieces for 2 people), which we had to ask for refill, and again...you only get 4 small pieces for 2 people. This seemed odd and a bit frugal. But the food quality is very good. read more

I've been in Canton for a few years and finally got around to trying Rosetta's. It was so good that we ended up getting takeout from here the next night! Food was fresh and delicious, service was good. The seating was a bit cramped since the dining room was closed and they were busy, but still overall a great experience and looking forward to more of mama's meatballs! I was in town to meet a friend who haven't seen in 30 years. Thanks to Yelp I came into Rosetta's. Yelpers, you did not disappoint! I ordered the linguini with clam and wine sauce. Excellent! Clams were good size, was perfect! Price was very reasonable, the same item at other places would probably be double. Not only my dish was wonderful the service was impeccable! It's a family owned restaurant and the owner, Carlo, welcomed me and gave me the history and the inspiration for the restaurant. Absolutely the worst food and the rudest staff. The owner is duplicitous and confrontational. If you don't like your meal and request something else, he flips out. And a $3.00 up-charge per drink with Tito's vodka...insane! Save your money to dine at local establishments that deserve your patronage. Response to Owner: The owner needs to review his elaborate camera footage much more carefully because his response clearly is not identifying me, the reviewer. I only had one mixed alcoholic beverage and chicken marsala. I am appalled that he is trying to play a guessing game with his surveillance system. First time dining in, only other time was take out about a year ago. Atmosphere is a very quaint, romantic setting - two person booth was perfect. Ordered mozzarella sticks and had complimentary bread brought to us with olive oil with fresh Parmesan for dipping. Next time we will opt for only the bread as it was fresh and bite sized for dipping. I ordered the piccata with salmon - the risotto was a tad soggy but the toppings were fresh and the salmon was amazing. My husband ordered the chicken Giuseppe which was quite tasty. Had a wonderful meal at Rosetta's tonight. Nice outdoor seating, great food and excellent service. It was a nice summer night and my husband and I walked to Rosetta's for dinner. They have a outdoor seating area that was very private, nice, and relaxing. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Good wine selection and reasonably priced. My husband got the chicken parmigiana and I got the pappardelle bolognese. Both were excellent! Though the true star of the meal was the slice of limoncello cake for dessert. Excellent restaurant. We went last night around 6:30pm. Not too busy in the dining room but it was early. I had the Saltimbaco with chicken and my husband had little necks in pasta. Both dishes were large portions are delicious!!! The atmosphere was of an older Italian place with family and friends visiting. After a long day of plane and car rides, we were ready for a good meal. We opted to eat at Rosetta's Italian Restaurant near the center of Canton (which is a cute town, btw). We entered from the door on the main street side, which accessed the bar area. Apparently, if you're just interested in the restaurant, you enter via the (right, facing it) side. We parked on the street less than a block away (in front of a funeral home, I think). I'm not sure if they have their own lot or not, but it isn't too difficult to find street parking nearby. The place had a 'been there for 40 years' vibe, but definitely in a good way. It almost seemed like it could be used in a movie (picture some scene in 'The Departed' if they were eating in an Italian restaurant). The portions were decent and the mixed drink was strong. I enjoyed my pasta. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. If I lived nearby, I'd likely become a regular. If I ever return to the Canton area, I'll be back. read more

We decided to dine here for Mother's Day dinner as this was one of the few places still taking reservations the week of. I'm not sure if the time we went they were on boarding new staff/waitresses but the entire experience was something to be desired. Right upon our arrival the Hostess does not see our reservation thinking that we had it for a party of 5 for 4PM instead of party of 4 at 5PM. We were then lead to our table at the farthest reaches of the restaurant by a very young and inexperienced waitress. During the entire time she neglected to check in on us at the appropriate times and did not fill our waters until we asked her at least twice. We ordered one appetizer, oysters rocker feller which was very tasty. We received our plain entrees about half an hour later. The grilled haddock special only had one fillet so we sent that back as this was not what we were expecting and ordered something else. The waitress was bewildered by this request at first but she took the order back. In the end they did bring out a complimentary tiramisu dessert to makeup for the previous disappointments. We enjoyed a traditional Italian dinner that began with delicious mussels in white wine and garlic sauce. Though the mussels were small, they were fresh and very good! I could have literally drank the sauce!! My husband was in awe of his veal dish. The was tender and the portion generous! I had one of specials, stuffed manicotti with ricotta, and spinach was a little dry but was good. I actually should have ordered more mussels!! My portion of manicotti was also generous. Our dessert, which we took to go, was the Lemoncello cake traveled back to Northern Virginia well in our cooler. Several days later, while sitting at my kitchen table, my intention was to eat half of the generous portion of cake, but before I knew it, the whole thing was GONE! I am a local that frequently dines at Rosetta's. Mary the bartender is fabulous, Carlo is a very dedicated owner who always helps his staff to make a nice experience for customers. Food is lovely however I placed a take out order and I was standing on the stairs to pick it up and the waitress who never smiles and always seems miserable when working screamed 2x please clear the way for me! She had nothing in her hands, and no one was in her way. I said you have said that twice and no one is in your way, she turned her head around like the devil and yelled, "and I will say it 5 more times to you". I walked out telling Carlo I will take my business elsewhere. I will never return and I am actually shocked that he would allow his staff to speak to customers like that. I am not the first person who has complained about her either, she really should look for a line of work she can handle. After working Sunday's game at Gillette Stadium, we stopped here on our way home after seeing some excellent reviews on Yelp. I am Italian, so I love a good, Italian family restaurant. We arrived a little after 5pm, and there were only a few people at the bar. We were greeted by a very nice man who asked it we wanted to dine upfront (which looked more of a lounge) of the restaurant or in the dining room. We decided to head back to the dining room, which seemed more quiet, quaint and romantic. After looking around, there was only one other family that was having dinner, so we basically had the restaurant to ourselves, which is always nice. We were greeted by Karen, our waitress, who was training another server, Christian. I asked to sample a few wines, since I love wine and always want to taste before I buy. I ended up choosing the J.Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon, which I have had before. My husband had this drink called "Sex on a snowbank" with rum and some other liquors in it. It was delicious! Also, sounded fun and funny to order to me. We started off with the bruschetta and greek salad, both were delicious except the cheese on the bruschetta could have been melted more, but the tomatoes were so fresh. After our appetizers, we then ordered our entrees: I had the Chicken Parmigiana and my husband ordered the Veal Saltimbocca. We had the option of a few different pastas, one that was homemade, so of course being Italian, I went with the homemade Fusilli. It was just okay, very doughy and not much flavor. My chicken parmigiana was good, not great. But, my husbands veal saltimbocca was by far the best. It was very flavorful and delicious and he went with the homemade pappardelle, which was so much better than the fusilli. After being full, we decided to scope out dessert menu. We ordered the warm chocolate chip cookie and bundt cake with whiskey and pecans. Both were excellent! I would recommend checking this place out, especially if you love good, authentic Italian food like me!!! And, if you can, ask for Karen, she will make some amazing menu suggestions! read more
