I pushed the help button and then looked at my watch. 20 minutes later and three separate button pushes and no one ever showed up. Employees walking back and forth no one stopped. I know that you can't just ask anyone for help because they are actually supposed to be there to cut the material for you. I left feeling deflated and embarrassed because my husband was there irritated because I dragged him along with me. That is all.

Nobody responds to the assistance alerts at the end of the aisles either. I've actually given up on buying games and other items several times because I don't want to deal with the inconvenience of waiting forever just to make a purchase. I understand the need for security, but if so many items are going to be locked up, there needs to be a much faster and more reliable way for customers to get assistance. The clasp came apart about 2 weeks after purchasing it. I asked to exchange and Steve the manager/owner said for $10.00 I could. I told him I didn't want to spend more money and The same thing possibly happen again. He told me he wouldn't exchange it. I even asked if I could get a basic case, not a wallet one so I could get something for the $25.00. He said no he wasn't giving me anything for "free." I told him that was messed up, that I shop there all the time and the woman worker knows me. He stopped talking to me and picked up the phone when I was showing him how the clasp was obviously a defect. He actually called security on me! Lol. Security was really nice, and was very sympathetic. I asked Steve one last time to help me out and he just Ignored me, he wouldn't even look at me. He was really rude. I was certainly impressed with the quality of customer service at Hemet's JCPenney! This is one of the best stores at the Hemet Valley Mall. There's a good selection of clothing for kids and women. I personally wasn't thrilled this time with the men's inventory. However, I've bought great button-ups at this location before.
