You have to go often to find really good deals (meaning markdowns that are NOT broken/damaged/irregular). The store is constantly disorganized/messy. Also the staff could be a bit more friendly. I'd rather go next door to Marshall's almost any day. read more

This Ross has bad customer service. Just the way they talk to you is rude. In person at the store and even over the phone. I was there yesterday and bought quite a few items and as I was checking out the cashier told me "take off those hangers while I ring you up because you bought so much stuff". I really don't have an issue with helping but maybe she could have asked nicer rather than tell me to do it. Last time I checked I wasn't employed by Ross. Today I called to ask about an item I purchased and wanted to return. Vanessa answered the phone and after placing me on hold three times got back on the phone and said they were too busy and to call back in five minutes so they can get their check out lines down. Apparently at this store you're only a customer if you're in the store. read more

This is one of my favorite places to shop I've been coming here for years. The prices are unbeatable ! I've always had good service as well. The only thing I have to complain about is the dressing room doors . Today I walked in on three people and was walked in on at least twice due to the doors locks which are just Terrible I feel like they are just magnets . There is no door handle or hanger so you can place your card on so you That can see that the room is occupied. I honestly would feel so much more comfortable knowing I'm not going to get walked in on while I'm not decent , I also don't think others would like to be walked in on or walk in on people . It's quite awkward . I HOPE ONE DAY THEY INVEST IN BETTER LOCKS ON THE DOORS . Nothing fancy just more reliable. read more

For the most part they have been great. I've been shopping there for about a year now. I went in a couple weeks ago to return a comforter that had a nasty pee stain on it. As I was waiting in line my wife went to get a new on from the back. When I finally got to the front of the line I returned it as my wife walks up and the lady behind the counter said I would have to get in the line again to purchase even though I was already at the front. I told her "are you serious? I have the item right here" she just stared at me and called the new customer. Because this one employee and this one employee only I will never return to this Ross. Other than that everyone has been pretty friendly and I've never had problems. read more

Normally I like this place. I don't mind the clutter or the mess because I know they are understaffed. I love the prices and that around this time of the year they are REALLY well stocked! The problem I have here isn't with anything but 1 employee. assuming the manager, but basically when I was trying on a few clothes (I didn't know what time they closed for holiday hours, so I was really quick about it when I heard over the intercom they would be closing in 30 minutes). I come out of the fitting room to hand my clothing to the lady who gave me my number previously. Another woman (The manager) is standing a few feet away and gets angry I didn't hand them to her, snatches my number out of my hand, then snatches the clothes from her employee. She ROLLED HER EYES at her employee multiple times. With a raised voice she asked me if I wanted to keep the clothes, and I said no. (I did but I wasn't going to give her store 1 cent anymore with that attitude). With a huge attitude she said "OKAY!" really loud and ushered me out of the dressing room area, I could overhear her yelling at her employee to clock out. My boyfriend was standing outside the fitting rooms and heard the backstory. The fitting room employee asked to leave early because she had a second job to go to early the next morning. The manager, annoyed (possibly because she didn't ask ahead of time so they had to close the dressing room early or just that she was not going to be able to help close the store) was EXTREMELY rude to her employee. No matter the situation you should never be that rude to an employee, let alone in front of a customer. It's poor treatment and can always be handled more maturely than eye rolling and attitude. You looked to be in your 30s, I expect better from you. I understand retail is tough, and stressful, especially with difficult customers but if you are in a position where you work as a team (or as a manager) you must stick together and set an example. read more

I used to consider Ross a good store to shop for bargains and receive decent service. The service was less than mediocre and it felt more like a garage sale. The associates yelled out at the customers who waited for additional lines to open (my cashier for returns was the only one opened). To expedite the checkout I had to go find my similar item because a tag was missing. They so not give you a hanger for your jacket but instead crumple it up in the bag (I asked and she said they can't because they recycle). When I bought some nice priced jacket and boots, I asked to make sure the security tags were removed. She said yes without checking and of course the tag was still on the jacket so the alarm sounded. Could Ross please return to decent service. Train your employees to smile and show a caring attitude. Thanks. read more

WOW but this store was a mess! I ignored it & looked at the women's tops anyway. Took 2 to the dressing room where I was met with the most surly person I've ever encountered in a retail store. This was 7/11 at about 2pm. She had a long pony tail and shaved sides. I showed her that I had 2 pieces but she made me put them on the t-bar, which would have been fine, but the look and attitude spoke volumes. No, I'm not going to steal from you! I had my return bag but she didn't care about that. So weird! I offered to leave it with her but she said "no, I don't care about your bag"...so strange. When I came out again I handed the number & tops to her. She said "you don't want these? -followed with a sigh". Why would I give them to her if I wanted them? Another customer was walking in when I was leaving. She had 4 items. The lady running the dressing room said "well you need to put them on this rack before you can go in". Maybe it's just me but her tone and words are demeaning and unprofessional. Even if I loved those tops I'd have left them because of her. No one smiled in the whole store! It must be an awful place to work. It sure is awful to shop there! read more

I love Ross I've been going to Ross throughout the years even growing up unfortunately today I received very negative treatment from Wendy and her manager I purchased a shirt over a week ago unaware that The cashier never removed the anti-theft device, do you arm of us it was in on because it didn't go off when I left the storetoday I realize when I pull up the shirt to wear for the first time the alarm device was still on obviously I didn't have my receipt because I didn't intend on returning I went back to the store simply have the device removed and was looked at as a thief even though I walked in and the alarms went off with the shirts in hand. She said, if they can't find the transaction or I don't have a receipt and there's nothing they can do. I pull up my bank statement and showed her the balance the purchase date and the withdrawal from Ross and if you had both the shirts together comes exactly out to the same amount yet she still employed as if I took them making me wait an additional 1015 minutes for what reason because they didn't believe me when I simple common sense call could've had resolved it all. You bring out the shirts they have the same amount you're all set to go. There's a bank statement stating a transaction date and withdraw from Ross via the web but yet they want to sit there and still give me a hard time. It's not my fault the representative didn't take off the tags as well as them not have the alarms off it's not like I walked in there with nothing I've had a date of purchase an exact amount and the shirts to begin with I will never ever go to Ross again it was an embarrassing moment and from all the other customers read more
