I finally decided recently that enough is enough and it's time for me to finally get them out. I received a referral from my dentist to come to OC Max Surgery. Making a consultation appointment here was super easy and I was able to come in within the week. Upon walking in, the staff was extremely friendly and greeted me with kindness. Checking in was very simple and the wait was not long. The facility overall is very clean and well kept with lots of great up to date technology. I had my consultation appointment with Jennifer and Dr. Farshidi, whom were both great. After Jennifer helped do my xrays, Dr. Farshidi said that one of my wisdom teeth was wrapped around a nerve, which made me anxious to hear at first, but he explained very clearly his strategy to keep my nerves safe and have a comfortable procedure, which put me to ease immediately. Jennifer and Dr. Farshidi also did a great job of informing me of how to prepare before my surgery and how to take care of myself after. Leaving me with all the tools needed to make this surgery as comfortable as possible. The day of the surgery I was able to check in quickly and they took me back to the surgery room. The nurses that were getting me ready were all very nice and made sure that I had an anxiety-free experience before the operation. The days following my surgery were honestly not bad at all. I had little to no pain and swelling the first few days. By day 4 post-op, the remaining pain and swelling had completely passed and I was pretty much back to normal. The post-op instructions given to me were very clear and concise which also really helped me have a smooth post-op recovery. I just came in today for my one week post-op check up with Nancy. Nancy said everything looked great and showed me how to go about irrigating my sockets. She was extremely friendly, patient, and very willing to answer all the questions I had. At one week post-op, I feel fabulous with absolutely zero pain, swelling, or other discomfort, and that's all thanks to the wonderful OC Max Surgery team! Thank you so much Dr. Farshidi, Jennifer, Nancy, and the rest of the staff here for all your kindness and support, you have all made this a very comfortable process for me and I'm so grateful. I'd definitely come here again if I ever have any future oral surgery needs and I will be recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you so much again!! :)

My daughter has extreme needle phobia and the thought of getting an IV for her wisdom teeth surgery had her majorly freaking out. Everyone at OC Max went above and beyond to make her calm and comfortable. They didn't make her feel stupid or crazy when she asked about the details of anesthesia four times in a row. They were comforting and understanding. As for the surgery itself, everything was extremely smooth. We followed their post-op instructions and she didn't have any issues. She is so relieved to have it over with and so happy that it was very manageable. We will recommend OC Max to everyone we know!

Dr. Thiede evaluated my father in the hospital and proceeded with the removal of all infected teeth. My father was admitted on a Friday evening, seen by Dr. Thiede on Saturday morning, and the procedure was appropriately scheduled and completed on Sunday. Dr. Thiede was thorough, patient, and took the time to answer all questions, which was greatly appreciated given the complexity of my father's medical condition. The office and hospital staff were also professional, kind, and accommodating. During a follow-up visit, our wheelchair transport service canceled at the last minute, and my father had not been eating for several days post-discharge. Despite scheduling constraints, the staff accommodated his appointment without hesitation and without making us feel at fault. As a result of the care provided, my father is recovering well and has been able to resume eating. I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Thiede and his team for their professionalism, coordination of care, and compassionate approach in a medically complex case.

I didn't need a diagnosis, since I told the dentist that my implant was loose. He decided to take a ct scan, charge me for it and charge me for his false "diagnosis." $290 later.. he told me I need a New crown and wanted me to pay $2900 to return for 2 more visits to "fix" it. I Declined his outrageous treatment plan, knowing my implant was just loose. I waited until Monday with no problems and went to my dentist Dr. John Vartanian (Newport Beach) who did the implant for me. He tightened the screw and I was out of there in 10 minutes for free. I believe SoCal Smiles owes me $290 back for their unnecessary scan and incorrect diagnosis. They were trying to sell me something I didn't need and I'm quite upset about how this was handled when I brought it to their attention. I would go elsewhere and not trust this place with your time or money.

I made it clear when I signed in I did not have any paperwork, that they would need to provide. I also told the doctor the same. I came back for my TB test reading and staff was very unorganized. I was being charged again and my paperwork was not ready. Second visit for TB test and to pick up my paperwork took over 45 minutes. And I still had to come back a third time for my clearance form. There was a lady in the front that had an attitude and was not positive which affected the experience however, Jose really went above and beyond. He helped push my wheelchair and even brought in a boot and called other clinics to see if they would be able to take my insurance. Unfortunately they do not have imaging at this urgent care so if anyone has laceration issues, do not come here. I felt really cared by Jose and he went above and beyond for the service. It really made the experience bearable since I do not like hospital settings.

I have never written a review before, but Dr. Rosy absolutely deserves one. I first met Dr. Rosy during COVID, and I will never forget the kindness she showed me. As I was leaving her office, she gave me a handmade mask made by her mom and a brand-new box of gloves. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and although it may have seemed like a small thing, it told me immediately what kind of person she is--someone who truly cares about people. Dr. Rosy is not only an exceptional dentist, but also one of the most caring, genuine, and uplifting people I have ever met. She is warm, funny, and has an incredible sense of humor. If you follow her as "The Cheeky Dentist," you'll understand exactly what I mean. She has a gift for making people feel comfortable and welcome the moment they walk through the door. Her office is absolutely beautiful--elegant, unique, and unlike any dental office I have ever visited. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create a calm and relaxing environment. Her team is equally wonderful. They are friendly, professional, and make you feel like you are part of a family. I also can't forget Finley, her sweet support dog, who brings even more joy to every visit. As someone who wears dentures, I truly appreciate the kindness, patience, and respect Dr. Rosy has always shown me. She never makes me feel self-conscious. Instead, she makes me feel valued, encouraged, and genuinely cared for. What makes Dr. Rosy so special is that she doesn't just care about your dental health--she cares about you as a person. I would pick 100 stars, but there are only 5, so 5 it is. I thoroughly recommend Dr Rosy and her staff for anyone needing a new dentist. Her office on 4th St in Santa Ana is top notch and immaculately clean. Nothing but new state of the art equipment in there and she has all the skills to put them to use. Need a checkup or cleaning? Dr Rosy is your gal. Need a filling or a crown? Call Dr Rosy. I have visited many dentists over the years, some good, some not so good. She was recommended to me by a friend and she has been my dentist since my first appointment for something like 7 years now. NO reason to go anywhere else! Appointments are fulfilled professionally in a timely manner. She will do extractions provided they are necessary. If options are available she will explain what they are thoroughly. If you require a specialist she will refer you to them. She will remind you each visit that flossing is uber important, and, you only have to floss the teeth you want to keep. She does all this and a lot more without taking an arm and a leg. For all these reasons I encourage you to make an appointment and try her out, even if you like your current dentist. I've had nothing but amazing experiences at this dental office! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the friendliest staff who always make you feel welcome. The office is consistently spotless, and everything is so well organized and clean. One of my favorite things is how they go above and beyond to make every visit comfortable. They provide eye patches during treatments, which makes the experience feel more like a relaxing spa than a dental appointment. They even offer lavender aromatherapy to help you unwind! You can also watch movies during your treatment, making longer appointments fly by. Their equipment is always clean and modern, which gives me so much confidence in the care I'm receiving. Scheduling is incredibly easy because they have great appointment availability, and I love that I can simply text the office whenever I have a question--they always respond quickly. I previously wrote a review, and it mysteriously got deleted... I wonder what happened... this goes to show that Rosy Dental is both shady and unprofessional. Quick Recap: 1) They change their entire staff and doctor every time I had gone in for an appointment over the last 6 months. 2) They tell you that you need treatment when you do not (I got a second and third opinion and they both disagreed with the treatment that Dr. Rosa Banke had recommended) 3) They are only interested in getting your money, which is terrifying because I already felt uncomfortable being in their office. This office is terrible and now I know why people are afraid of going to the dentist, stay away!! read more

I've been a patient at Rosy Dental for the past three years. It's been a good experience going there for my dental work. Absolute scam of a place - they not only do hard upsells they also try to scare patients into getting work that's not needed. This place was insistent of a deep cleaning at almost 10x the cost after insurance when other dentists would perform a regular cleaning. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get dental work, especially if damage was done from drug use. 10 years of addiction did some damage and Dr. Rosie was able to cosmetically fix my teeth and restore their function as well for reasonable prices considering all the work. The hygienist (Juliet) insisted on optional procedures (laser, irrigation, and Arestin) for my wife before providing evidence-based SRP (Deep Cleaning), even though my wife's dental chart clearly showed 5 mm pockets and radiographic bone loss - early stage Periodontitis. When I requested to bypass these adjunct procedures and proceed straight to deep cleaning, they refused treatment for my wife, accused me of wanting them to commit insurance fraud as they wanted her to complete the optional procedures first. According to ADA/AAP guidelines, these adjuncts are not required as first-line treatment. Deep cleaning is the first-line, gold standard for any confirmed or suspected early-stage periodontitis. Most, if not all other offices would've scheduled SRP immediately based on her charts/x-rays. When I confronted them with this fact, Juliet said we were "not a good fit moving forward." and that I was "telling them how to do their jobs," even though I was simply citing standard treatment guidelines that they are not following. I have requested my records and will be going to a non‑shady family practice. I recommend everyone seek a second opinion before agreeing to elective adjunct procedures that this office frames as clinically necessary. Also be aware that many of their Google/Yelp reviews appear to come from profiles with low numbers of reviews, so I recommend taking them with caution. Additionally, double-check quoted prices for each procedure. On multiple occasions, this office overquoted me, and when I asked them to verify with my insurance, the price was drastically reduced.
