Located in a Winn Dixie plaza. There's lots of parking. Walking in, the restaurant is pretty roomy with booth seating and dimmed lights. Once seated, we were greeted by our waitress, who didn't mind giving us a few extra minutes to go over the menu. I chose the chicken masala with a soup. Shortly after, a basket of fresh garlic knots were brought over. They were soft and buttery. Soup & salad were both good and my meal was delicious. Some of the best Italian food around! My husband and I stayed at a nearby resort a year ago and ate here two nights the food was so good. Needless to say we have spent a year trying to remember this restaurant because others pale in comparison. We remembered the name of the Wyndham resort, looked on Apple maps and voila! We found Rotelli's again today. To keep the review short, we had the chicken Marsala and eggplant Parmesan, stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes, so good! You could see the fresh herbs in every dish we had.. oh and the garlic rolls! So good we ordered a half dozen to go with our remaining food (we always over order!) it seems this place is a local hangout for snowbirds.. lots of tags from Quebec but I hope the locals patronize this place just as much. Good local little place. Great for family's and prices are good. Pasta dishes $11.00 - $17.00 if you come before 6 pm they are less all between $10-$12. And include either soup or salad. We ordered a pizza which was excellent! And a pasta (my pasta was slightly over cooked, I will make sure to ask for al dente next time.) Great Place in Strip Center - Friend took me there after flying in from Texas. Garlic Rolls were great and service was OK. Got there at 8:30pm and they closed at 10:00. Was a little rushed when needing to check out. Had the wedding soup and 'Greek Pita Salad" which was excellent. I'd suggest a little dressing on the side but it was delicious! There is something about the vibe of this place, the energy. I really can't put my finger on it or even describe it. But whatever it is, it does not make me eager to dine here. It is super convenient when on lunch break, the food is ready super sonic speed. And when I just want to eat something for lunch, not slip in and out of a food coma. I had their lunch special, 2 slices of plain cheese and a drink. They serve free garlic rolls as well. The pizza is pretty good, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Even with the convenience, I find the price for what I got (don't forget,no toppings), $6.99, is not worth it. I was disregarded when one of the hostesses was passing out the baskets of garlic rolls to the tables; gave to those that sat after me and I had to flag another waitress down. They sat us in the booth next to the entrance to the bathrooms, as we are chatting waiting for our wine we noticed a small roach crawling down the wall next to where our friends were sitting across from us, we then called out to the staff who then proceeded to give our friend a napkin so that he could catch the bug, our friend immediately said No you get it he said to the woman with the black hair and red lips, she then grabbed the bug, didn't apologize nor did anyone else in the restaurant after we mentioned it to several of the servers, then our other friend went to the ladies room where she had to run into the handicap stall as there was no toilet paper in the first stall, I then went to the bathroom about 15 minutes later and to my shock, no toilet paper and I to had to hop with pants down to the handicap stall as well after they were told that they're was no t.p. in the stall. Average, chicken felt like they sliced 20 filets from half of a chicken breast,pitiful. Lastly I went to order dessert and specifically asked the young man who brought the dessert menu over if the coconut cake was frozen or was it fresh, he then smiled and said the only dessert that's really frozen is the tiramisu, so he brings me the coconut cake, when I went to pick a piece from it it just felt like I had hit a rock. Yeap! Frozen, I then called our server a young lady who was not very sympathetic when I told her that we didn't want the cake as it was frozen, she removed it along with our waters and everything else that she could carry as we felt we were being rushed to leave as we were given looks that read, that you ate now leave so that I can turn that booth around look! I ordered 2 meatball sandwiches for delivery. I was told 40 minutes. After 1 hour I called again to check on the delivery. I was told any minute now you would receive your food. I waited another 20 minutes and called again. At that point I was told a 2 hour delivery because of so many calls. I was offered to wait another 20 minutes or so or to refund my money. My first outing here was fantastic. The shrimp parm was great with a smooooth tasting Chianti to go with it. I was particularly fond of the tomato sauce that came with the pasta as it was very authentic Italian, not too salty and garlicky like most Italian eateries. My partner had the eggplant parm and it was yummy. Very lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. The pizzas look excellent so we will definitely be going back to give them a taste. The food was good, the prices reasonable. However, Claudia our server was horrible. She did not know how to explain the items on the menu and when I asked for no mushrooms on my chicken francese, which I don't even know why they were on there to begin with, she brought out my chicken with mushrooms and when I pointed it out she took it to the back and scooped them off. Also, the stuffed peppers that were very good were not described properly on the menu, they had rice in them which is against my dietary restrictions and the menu had no word of rice. I placed an online order on Jan 27th and paid for it online. This was my 5th or 6th online order with this restaurant. I arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes later and was told my order wasn't ready yet, which is normal. After about 30 minutes of waiting, I had some more interaction with the staff as they attempted to get a status update on my order. After 1 1/2 hours and several interactions later, I was told they couldn't not find my order. I showed them my e-mail receipt and they made several attempts to locate it but found nothing. I finally spoke with the manager, and I gave her my phone so she could look at the order. I saw her scrolling and tapping on the screen but didn't think anything of it. She handed my phone back to me and I locked the screen out of habit before looking at. She asked me what I wanted to do, and I asked for a refund. She took my card to the back of the restaurant, then came back with it a few minutes later saying the refund we complete. But she didn't give me a receipt for it, also, something I should have paid attention too. I've been checking my bank account for it to show up, and finally I had to file a dispute with my bank about it. I went looking for my receipt to submit for evidence, and now it's missing. Not only this, but my entire deleted items folder was emptied. I DID NOT DO THIS.... so, guess who probably did! When I saw the manager scrolling around and tapping my screen multiple times, she deleted my receipt! Today, I attempted to recover it, but it was permanently deleted. This leads me to believe she did this intentionally along with not refunding me. I don't know if this will come up with my bank or not, but time will tell. In the meantime, I'm out over $50! TERRIBLE service!! I ordered a sub with fries and asked for extra ketchup and mayo. The man gave me 2 ketchups and 2 mayo. I said can I please have 1 more mayo and 3 more ketchup. He would only give me 1 more ketchup so I asked someone else who directed me back to the same man. The man decided to tell me that was too much ketchup. I said I like a lot of ketchup and mayo on my fries and it was my food so why was he concerned with the amount of sauce I wanted to use. I told him he could just take the food back and refund me. I shouldn't have to beg for more ketchup and mayo its ridiculous and petty. He then decided to give me more ketchup. He said I didn't pay for the ketchup.
