Seafood pasta. As tasteless as it looks boring.
Ian S.

Well, I found this restaurant while trying another restaurant near by. I was excited to try a new Italian restaurant which I did not know about and was close to my house. Unfortunately my wife and I ended up very disappointed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had a nice atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were very nice except for one woman who had glasses. She was almost rushing us to order and seemed bothered every time we saw her. The two stars is based on the food which was TASTELESS AND BORING!!!!! And the angry waitress with glasses. We started with the Caprese salad. It did have a beautiful presentation and the mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and arugula were fresh. The balsamic glaze that was on the salad was also good. Unfortunately, the remainder of our meal was edible, but very tasteless. Even the basket of bread they bring to the table had no flavor. For dinner I had the seafood pasta and my wife ordered their Dover soul with pasta. Both dishes came out hot, however there was no presentation and the food just looked very plain. Both our pastas were over cooked to start with. I asked for garlic and oil and not their red sauce. Well all I could taste was oil and couldn't even find one piece of garlic in my dish. It was also lacking any other flavor and I had to add salt pepper and several spoonfuls of Parmesan cheese to give it some taste. The seafood which consist of octopus, calamari, and shrimp were also overcooked and the shrimp were actually mushy and not firm or fresh tasting. As for my wife's dish, it was supposed to have a lemon sauce on it and all you could taste was the flour that was on the fish with oil. It had no lemon flavor no salt, no pepper and no taste. She had to add a substantial amount, salt, pepper, and cheese to give the dish any flavor. It did have a small lemon wedge on the plate. Maybe we were supposed to make the sauce ourselves. Their prices are reasonable, and the portion was substantial for what they charge. Like most restaurants that we try and are disappointed with, we will go back and give them a second chance. And as I say on most of my posts, we paid our check and we didn't complain. It wasn't something we couldn't eat. It was just something we didn't enjoy.

Filet mignon with mushrooms and paste and the spaghetti and meatballs. We owe you a picture of the lasagna.

We've been here several times and each dish we have ordered doesn't disappoint. Starting with their bread and butter to the spaghetti and meatballs, the filet mignon with mushrooms and pasta, and the lasagna you will not go wrong. They are all WOW SO DELICIOUS! Highly recommend it.

My daughter was specifically craving "pasta" and I found Forketta to have good reviews. When we first arrived, we were a bit confused on what to do. There was a sign with a bell but also another sign saying go to dining room counter for to-go orders. So we stood and waited for some one to acknowledge us. When we got sat, our waitress was prompt however I was disappointed they didn't have a kid specific menu. She offered penne with Alfredo as a kids option. However, this meal cost more than our Penne with Crab and both were adult sized portions. The fresh bread was delicious. The Crab with Penne was okay, I think I have learned I really only like Crab in the Crack it from the shell form. We also had some ice cream which was delicious.

2-15-24 6pm Came here to celebrate our friend on her milestone birthday. It was a Thursday evening and even at 6pm not an empty table. Good thing my friend called and made a reservation for four. It is conveniently located in a center with lots of parking out front. We all just drank water and they brought bread to the table. I ordered the veal and was surprised that it didn't come with a side. Maybe it was an option but I missed it as our group was just so excited to see one another. My friends all started with a salad first. After dinner I had a cappuccino which gave me the jolt for my long drive home. As well as me shared the Limoncello cake and Tiramisu. Both were excellent, probably the best dessert I have had in ages.

Max and I would have never stepped foot in this restaurant if it wasn't for our very dear friends Julie and Roy. We met them through Yelp and continue to look for new adventures. This was an adventure for us, but comfortable territory for Julie and Roy. We were invited for Julie's birthday. Roy did himself proud as he took care of everything from the invitation to making sure we were wined and dined. The food was outstanding. As you can see by how many the table accommodated, you would hope the servers could get it all done. The entire team that works at this restaurant were masters. It's small enough to handle small parties up to ones that are the size of ours. Great job Julie and Roy for the hospitality. Happy birthday to Julie. I'm hanging my hat on this one and putting a fork into this experience.

I ordered the Penne Vodka, and my boyfriend had the calamari pasta. Both dishes were excellent, but the Penne Vodka was definitely our favorite. Sea Mario has been bookmarked on my Yelp for over a year. While trying to make some Valentine's…read moreplans, my husband asked where I wanted to go, and I immediately thought of this restaurant. Even a few weeks in advance, Valentine's Day was already booked, so we made a reservation for Valentine's eve. This is not a restaurant I would come to without a reservation because I saw people get turned away. Located in an unassuming little strip mall, you would never know that there is a sparkling gem of a place tucked in the middle of the shops. Parking can be a little tricky, but we were able to snag a spot in front. Inside, this quaint restaurant has such welcoming decor in black-and-white with some accent colors. There are lots of little knickknacks and decorations from Italy. When we entered, we were greeted by one of the owners, Nadia. We had a short wait before our table was ready. When seated, Nadia went over all the specials and answered our questions regarding her recommendations on the menu. Her husband, Mario, also assists with serving. He also greeted us later during our dinner to check in about our meal. Now let's get to the heart of this review...the food. As someone with Sicilian heritage, I have been fortunate to visit Italy and have had some pretty amazing fresh seafood and pasta dishes there. And of course, I've had wonderful Italian restaurant experiences here as well. But I have to say, Sea Mario tops the list. Before I discuss the food menu, I just want to point out they have an extensive wine list. The menu offers several selections whether one is vegetarian, wants steak/lamb instead of pasta, or has come here for the dishes 'di mare.' We started off with an appetizer. Arancini rice balls with mushrooms and cheese. The Arancini balls flanked a bowl of stracciatella cheese. This was a special appetizer not on the regular menu. It was fantastic and dare I say luxurious? (Please put in on the regular menu!) For our main courses, my husband had the Fettuccini Florida Golden Crab & Scallops. It was Caribbean Italian fusion inspired with a flavorful, but not (hot) spicy, pasta sauce. I opted for the Maine Lobster Catalana. I have had my share of seafood pasta dishes throughout my life, but when this entree was placed in front of me, the aroma was so fragrant that I knew I was in for something special. The pasta sauce was made with high-quality tomatoes and caramelized onions (which I think really aided this sauce and made it different). The dish had clams and, of course, succulent lobster tail and the claw meat. The lovely aroma was not a tease because the dish tasted excellent. If having freshly made pasta with lobster sounds appealing to you, this is the dish to get. (They make their own pasta and the seafood is very fresh.) We ended our meal by sharing a fresh cannoli. The shell was not hard like a typical cannoli, rather it had the consistency of a doughnut. The ricotta filling with pistachio was absolutely out of this world. The plate was beautifully decorated with a berry drizzle in the shape of a seahorse. As you can tell, I'm pretty smitten with Sea Mario. I definitely want to return to this romantic restaurant for our anniversary later this year. Thank you for the incredible service and dishes.

Excellent. Mussels were large, and a bit gamey, nice light sauce. good. Had a sausage, finely cut up, and made with a pan fried topping and cheese and nice red sauce. Good I wanted pasta and garlic oil and butter. Also wanted veal and eggplant parmigiana . Neither on the menu. And no can have. Had a cannoli to go. Excellent wine menu. Two of us about $100. Di Farina - A True Hidden Gem!…read more Visited Di Farina for a company dinner tonight, and I am so glad I did! This is one of those hidden gems you almost don't want to share, just so there's always a table waiting for you. We started with a spread of appetizers: grilled octopus, garlic shrimp, fried burrata with arugula, and perfectly layered potatoes topped with braised short rib and fonduta. Every single dish was incredible--I honestly can't pick a favorite, though the short ribs stole my heart. For mains, I had the osso buco with pappardelle (their pastas are all freshly made in-house, and you can taste the difference). Our table also enjoyed the branzino, which was deboned tableside, the massive squid ink seafood linguini (so loaded with seafood you could barely see the pasta), and a rich, creamy carbonara that was perfectly balanced. Desserts were the perfect finale: tiramisu, cheesecake, and a refreshing lemon sorbetto, each as good as the last. The service was flawless, and the entire staff is Italian, adding to the authentic charm of the experience. Di Farina has officially become my new go-to spot for Italian nights. 10/10 on food, service, and atmosphere--can't wait to return!

The bread was served warm with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I liked that combination. Our entrees came out pretty fast. Maybe 12 to 15 minutes after we ordered. This makes me think the food is not freshly made. I would be happier waiting for my food. I ordered the penne alla gigi. The portion was huge!!! The flavor tasted really off. I absolutely love Italian food and am usually pretty forgiving if the food is not "amazing" The sauce was not good on this dish. I have never tasted anything like it.. The pancetta did not have much flavor. I sampled the chicken parmigiana and the spaghetti. The chicken parmesan was pretty good. It was cheesy. The sauce for the spaghetti was mediocre. I forgot to mention both dishes came out really hot which was appreciated. I ordered the limoncello cake and this was phenomenal. I thought it looked too yellow when it was placed in front of me. The taste was so delicious. It was not overly sweet, just perfect. I loved the whipped cream. My friend ordered the Ice Cream Sunday which is vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. I sampled this too and it was ok, nothing special. Without the excellent service, views and just beauty of the restaurant this would have been 2 stars. My visit ended on the right note with the limoncello cake. In reality, I just wanted a delicious meal. I did not receive that and I did leave mostly disappointed. :(
