Super fresh but if you are accustomed to traditional Mediterranean food it may be disappointing. I truly enjoyed my food but I know what real falafel is and they don't make there falafel traditionally. At best- gentrified falafel. It's mushy and chunky inside not the way I've had it prepared for me my whole life. I had a salad with falafel and the pomegranate juice which was super good! What an awesome option for a quick meal. I love the customization aspect, and though the plate is usually quite full, I never feel heavy afterward. Although most options are fairly healthy, you can really customize it and get to that ideal ingredient mix / caloric goal in your meal, so it's a great option for all. Went here for lunch and got their rice plate with falafel which was pretty good. With all the sauces and veggies and beans the plate was bright, colorful and fresh and it tasted good. Loved the flavor of the rice. The the falafel was different and softer than the traditional falafel you get everywhere else. It seemed like they mixed potatoes and other stuff in it. Terrible customer service, when I walked in I said hi to the girl working and she did not say a word back to me and had a smirk on her face. The second girl who finished making my food did not say a word to me ether. Finally the cashier said the price and hardly anything else. When you walk in a place you expect them to greet you and be friendly but they where not. Very bad experience when it should be all about the customer. When you walk in, the atmosphere is great. The people are nice and the restaurant is well kept. When you are ready to order, you get to create your dish (similar to chipotle). However, I question how long they keep their fixings out and how fresh they are. The food was good, but not ideal; especially if you are a picky eater. After my mother and I ate our meal, I immediately thought I was going to throw up. Something in their food did not sit well at all. I don't know if it was just the seasoning or, TRULY TRULY, how fresh their food was by dinner time. I, however, was the lucky one. My mother got food poisoning from their food. We both believe that it was from the dressing they have sitting out for hours. We can both never go back. The price of chipotle is about the same, and you can get more bang for your buck. Online ordering is frustrating. After fumbling around for 30 minutes trying to reorder my last order, I realized that the Tasting Platter was no longer on the menu and it was replaced by The Explorer. Once I chose The Explorer for my wife, I couldn't deselect the Steak Roti and exchange for an additional Chicken Roti. Furthermore, I had to choose the Steak Roti to process the order. You can't proceed without selecting all of the meat options. Ugh! My wife cannot eat beef and I suggested that she just remove it when the food arrives. Well, that wasn't a problem because they didn't add the Steak Roti. Again, both of our orders were missing items and/or replaced with items we didn't order. I never asked for tomatoes and cucumbers. 4 out of our last 5 orders were wrong. It has gotten to the point where I will go in to order instead of online. Not sure why this is so difficult. The food is great but avoid online ordering at this location. read more

I hate to write anything less than a 5, but my experience was not stellar at this Roti. This was my second time visiting, and I was not impressed. I visited at 7pm on a Tuesday night and there were about 4 other guests already eating. When I got into line the worker was very impolite and unfriendly when I didn't understand what she was asking. I am not sure what the portions are supposed to be, but a half a scoop of chicken seems a little on the sparse side (especially when a huge chunk of it was a piece of fat with no meat on it). When the young lady asked what I wanted in my bowl, she rolled her eyes at me. When I asked for hummus, she scraped some remnants from the container that used to hold hummus, but I got about a teaspoon of mostly something that looked like couscous with a little hummus holding it together. When I asked if there was more in the back she shrugged her shoulders and didn't say anything. At the register the man who was ringing me up told the guy behind me that the hummus would be ready in 15 or 20 minutes. As I was getting my order to go, that wasn't possible. I understand that sometimes restaurants run out of things, but the combination of that and the poor service makes me not want to return. The food isn't terrible, but the portions (including sauce) were super small. The only thing they weren't skimpy on was the greens. read more
