As the de facto social event coordinator at my work, I am always looking for venues to host large gatherings. Honestly, it's not an easy job. Aside from budget limitations, most of our people and retirees are scattered all over the Bay Area. Finding a budget-friendly spot that is easy for them to travel to has become a difficult task these days. This Round Table is one of my favorite venues. It's conveniently located in Alamo Plaza, not far from the Stone Valley exit of Hwy 680. The plaza itself is nicely maintained, with no noticeable vagrancy and ample parking. The restaurant is on the north end, next to the CCCSO substation. The interior is decently sized, with a small bar area and a private room that can host up to 20-30 people. It also has a nice small patio area out front. We have hosted several pizza parties here in the past few years. The owner and his staff are friendly and easy to work with. We usually spend anywhere from $600 to $1,000 per event and they have always waived the room fee for us. We have never had a bad experience here. The food and beer are consistently good. If you are looking for a spot to host a pizza party, keep them in mind!

I've been coming around table since I was a kid and every time I come into town to visit my family I like to come here they have the best salad bar anywhere hands-down in the Eastbay. And their pizzas and the quality of the ingredients are exceptional but Wier really stood out today with Cindy she was so attentive and so kind and warm and really helped navigating us through our menu choices and told us about our lunch specials Sign ended up getting the salad bar and a personal pizza which was absolutely fantastic we also tried the chocolate chip cookies which were delicious as well they bake them here

Yummy salad bar

This place has a great salad bar and the pizza is better than most round tables. Very nice management too!

No Salad Bar! It says salad in bright neon lights but no. I was here on inspection day but wouldn't that be a good day to have out your salad bar? Idk. Maybe not. Hmmm....

Mari and Victor! I'd hire them.

What I liked: the outdoor seating was just right for us. As others have pointed out, there is very little seating inside. The crust was thin which I like. I really liked the tomato sauce on the tomato pie with just the right amount of cheese and basil. What I did not care for: the wise guy was a bit too heavy with the greasy sausage and pepperoni. One slice of each was just enough for me for dinner. In the future, I will return and try one or two different slices more to my personal taste. In terms of service, they seem pretty efficient. I didn't interact directly with the staff.

I ordered the Toscana sandwich with 24-month prosciutto, burrata, truffle honey, and arugula, and I can confidently say it was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life--and that's coming from someone who has traveled all over Europe, including Italy. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh, and the combination of flavors was just unreal. I got mine extra toasted, and it came out perfect--warm, crispy, and honestly tasted like it was made fresh out of the garden. The quality really stands out. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The price is absolutely worth it for the quality you're getting.

You order at the counter and have the option to sit at a high top in front of the window, a few regular tables, or outside. The bread on all sandwiches was so fluffy but toasty on the outside. La Nonna - meatballs, eggplant, and mozzarella. The sauce on this sandwich was incredible. The meatball to eggplant ratio was perfect and the melted cheese brought it all together. California - a solid turkey avocado sandwich. Lucca - the burrata overpowered the sandwich and the ratio to the salame was not up to par but the caramelized onions made up for it. Margherita Pizza Slice - bread had a good crunch to it but was still soft. Sauce, cheese, and basil ratio was on point. Tramonto Salad - the lemon thyme vinaigrette brought this arugula salad all together. You can also build your own sandwich and they have a lot of great spreads and meats to pick from.

Located in Danville's downtown area, off one of the main roads, this establishment has a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. On a hot and sunny day (of which there are many in Danville) it'd be nice to sit inside, but the outdoor areas are covered and allow for a nice breeze so even outdoors is desirable. The food is quite good. There is a variety of toppings, styles, and sizes, most pizza lovers will find something here that they absolutely love. My party went with a kale salad to start, and a pepperoni and green peppers medium pizza to end. Both were incredibly delicious. In fact, the kale salad was so good it convinced me that I actually like kale - not a small feat if you know how I feel about vegetables. The service was solid - the host was friendly and seated us quickly even during the lunch rush, the server came by to get our drink orders almost immediately after we sat down, and the food came out piping hot and without much of a wait. You could do much worse with pizza joints in the east bay.
