It's been a year since I've been back in this area, and I was craving pizza. I stopped in after 8:30, less than half an hour before closing. I thought they were going to tell me the kitchen was closed. Instead, they welcomed me in and seated me. I ordered a beer and a Melo's Combination, which came out in about 10 minutes. Pizza was delicious. Freshly made, hot, and the flavors were on point. They didn't rush me at all either. I was next to last out of the restaurant and they were very respectful and welcoming even after closing hours. Great experience!

First time here, and it has a nice feel to it, although apparently one of several locations - does not give off that "chain" feel at all! The patio outside is very inviting, but we opted for indoors - although next to a window! Second best to the patio view . . . The wait staff is very friendly and efficient (Thank you, Kendall S.!), and the menu offers a nice selection of appetizers, lunch items, and, of course, dessert! We finally decided on a Fuji Apple salad (Romaine and baby green lettuces, crisp Fuji apples, candied pecans, Point Reyes blue cheese, champagne vinaigrette), Gnocchi Del La Casa (with a creamy pesto sauce), and Porcini Mushroom Ravioli (In a creamy marsala wine sauce with sautéed mushrooms). For dessert, we tried the butterscotch homemade pudding, a tiramisu cake, and a cake I can't recall (lost the itemized receipt, too - a Yelper's nightmare!! ) All the food came hot, and the pastas were soooooo good. Two of us had a taste of each pasta; tried to save some for the "owner" as well! The mushroom one would be my favorite, but the pesto gnocchi was markedly better than the others I have had, so that's a close second for the future. The salad was delightful, fresh and tasty, with textures and subtle flavors all coming together in each bite. The butterscotch pudding was amazingly rich and flavorful. And the tiramisu cake was light and flavorful as well. Overall, a fantastic lunch. Great to have found this place, and will look forward to a reason to return.

Came here for dinner on a Thursday afternoon. It was nice and clean inside. We were seated quickly at a table. It looked pretty busy inside. Our server got our drinks and order quickly. We ordered the calamari, burrata bruschetta and a small New Yorker pizza with a thin crust. Calamari was crispy and pretty good. The marinara sauce was too thin and watery though. Burrata bruschetta was so good. Very light and refreshing. The burrata was so soft and creamy. The pizza was really good also! Cheese was yummy and a decent 12 inch size! We waited a while to get some peppers and Parmesan cheese because the server got kind of busy. But overall not bad and would come back!

The mushroom ravioli was so delicious- the sauce was rich and flavorful. Service was great & always attentive. Prices were decent and not outrageously overpriced.

Love this place! I've been coming here for years and it hits the spot every time! Everything from there main dishes to the pizza is the best! The chicken parm is amazing! 2 pieces of breaded golden fried chicken with sauce and cheese piled high next to penne vodka pasta with a few spears of asparagus! This is literally my go to whenever I come here. It's a lot of really good food that'll fill you up! I also always get a pepperoni pizza on white sauce. The garlic white sauce is the best I've ever had at a pizza place! The crust is always doughy and airy with a nice crisp to it and the cup pepperonis curl up and add a nice subtle crisp as well! I always recommend Melos when ever someone asks for a good Italian place to either get a great dinner or an amazing pizza!

Yummy! Tonight I wanted something easy for the family so I grabbed a couple of pizzas. They were delicious! They were thin yet hearty. Service was fast and kind when I came in. The resturant was very clean and organized. I always like when you can see into restaurants kitchens. That's how you know it's clean! We have come here many times before and some favorites are the chicken parm and chicken marsala if you want a pasta dish! Can't wait to be back!

Just had a great meal here! Janine our server was outstanding! Pizza and pasta was delicious as was the apple salad.

It was our first time eating at Melo's. We arrived just before the main dinner rush and were seated immediately. While the host wasn't overly friendly the efficiency of getting a table was appreciated. Our server, Summer, was attentive, helpful, and made sure our dining experience was excellent. The kitchen was also impressively fast. We started with the Zuppa Clam Mussel appetizer, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. For our entrees, we enjoyed the classic spaghetti and the linguine with clams. Both were absolutely delicious. The meal was capped off with the Lemon Creamsicle dessert, a bright and satisfying end to the meal. My only real complaint was the cleanliness of our table which felt sticky, and there were several flies buzzing around our table throughout the entire meal and distracted us. Nevertheless we still had a good experience and will be returning.

This is what I received for $32.

I am not at all happy with the service I received. I ordered a $36 lasagna and all I received was scraps. Whether you dine in or takeout, the service should be the same for you to actually send this out for someone to eat is unacceptable. I would never get food from here again and I would not recommend this place.

The food was so good, definitely left satisfied. We also ordered garlic bread with cheese which tasted great, especially with the marinara and ranch. We though the pasta portion looked small at first but it ended up being perfect, loved the cheese on top too. The pizza was good too, and the waitress was super nice and was checking up on us a lot.

This is your friendly neighborhood pizza joint. Pizzas are huge and delicious. You get your moneys worth. Pasta dishes are decent. Large portions, good flavor but overly sauced for my liking. Service is awesome! Friendly and pretty fast. Great atmosphere. Lots of tables.

    Yes through Doordash.

Yes there are many! Just Google them...👍😎

Hows the service and most importantly the Pasta and pizza?

I love their pastas. I like their pizzas too. It's just that I like the pasta so much that I always go for their pasta. They do get very busy in the evenings. Their hostess station in Danville is further away from the entrance and when it's crowded,…

I did not even think to alert my friends about what I read because I thought after reading other Yelp reviews and looking up their Instagram posts with beautiful photos and people looking like they were enjoying this restaurant, that what was described in that 1-star review must have been a rare occurrence. Boy was I wrong because to my dismay when we arrived at their restaurant door last evening, it happened to us and I did not want to believe it, but all the evidence was there to show they were in fact, CLOSED. Two other customers and our group arrived at the same time in advance of our 6pm reservation time, only to see their door closed, lights off, with nobody inside. We were confused not only because we did not receive a message notifying us that their restaurant would be closed and our reservation needed to be canceled, but also because the customers who arrived when we did said they had booked their reservation yesterday, meaning the reservation system was still active. What's more is we did not see any signage on their door or windows about being closed, but instead we saw an EBMUD notice on the door stating water service payment was overdue, which we were not expecting to see upon our arrival. Our group needed to quickly figure out a plan B for our birthday celebration dinner, as our friend had planned and reserved The Library Social Club over a month ago. I dine at many restaurants and any time there needs to be a change or cancelation for any reason by a restaurant business, I have received an e-mail, a text, or a phone call alert, as a customer courtesy call, and I have at the very least, even seen hand written notes on restaurant doors and windows as signage alerting customers of their business being closed. Needless to say, we were disappointed and frustrated by this incident today. We drove from out of town to try this restaurant that was not even open when customers had reservations. Fortunately, our friend proposed a different restaurant that we could walk to and they sat us promptly upon arrival. We enjoyed their delicious food instead!

I was the first to walk in around 4ish in the afternoon (they have happy hour!) and I was offered a seat and water quickly. I decided to order the smoked salmon crudo and the gentleman (I think one of the owners?) gave me some pairing suggestions. While that was getting prepared in the kitchen, he offered me a tasting of another white wine on the house, which was so kind! In the picture below... it's most drunk haha but it was a nice amount to taste and sip on. That smoked salmon crudo is SO GOOD. The citrus adds a nice brightness, and I think there was a hint of honey used in the vinaigrette. I was pleasantly surprised and it's easily the best smoked salmon dish I've had in a while! The wine was excellent as well. I was only in for about an hour, maybe an hour and a half before I moved on, but I got to hear regulars come in and greet the owner like old friends. There's a really cool vibe here, with great music and decor, so I really wished I lived closer to visit more often! As I was leaving, I did chat with the gentleman again (complimented him/the wine bar) and he said he hoped that I would come again as he is trying to work with his partners to add more to the menu (the regulars that came in were asking after the gumbo and the brunch, which they were not serving at the time). I definitely hope to visit again and try those other menu items!

Interior is interesting, it's like you're dining at someone's home? Street parking or there are lots nearby with the first hours or so free. Service was good  The Valentines prix consisted of an app, entree, and dessert, some of which are not on their regular menu!!  -bread and marinara (4/5): bread was great, thick slices and nice crust. Marinara was standard -potato-leek puree (4/5): came in a cute little cup to drink out of, good flavor -gamberoni (5/5): prawns were a good size and perfectly grilled. The sauce was a good addition -polette (4/5): meatballs were juicy and the pesto was flavorful and creamy. Interesting thing to have as an appetizer though -fettuccini carne (5/5): I always have an internal struggle about getting a red sauce or a cream sauce, so this was the perfect option as a creamy red sauce pasta. Serving size was good, and there was also plenty of meat and mushrooms, which I loved! Flavor was great! -lamp chop (4/5): good grilled flavor, but one was slightly too raw for our liking so we had to send it back to the kitchen to cook it some more. Our waitress was very understanding though! The mashed potatoes and veggies were also good. -tiramisu (3.5/5): good flavor, but there was wayyy more cream than ladyfinger, so the textural balance was off. And I love cream! -peanut butter chocolate brownie (4/5): really good but also pretty sweet. Loved how thick the whipped cream was, but didn't taste as much peanut butter as I would've liked Overall, I had a great experience for their valentines day prix menu. Food was great and I would definitely go back to try their pasta!
