First visit back in years and everything was delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered salads, wings and a large pizza. I really enjoyed my seasonal spinach and butternut squash salad. It was lightly dressed in champagne vinaigrette and filled with roasted squash, walnuts, dried cranberries Gorgonzola and I added chicken. Wings were flavorful and juicy. Our thin crust pizza was delicious. Half sausage , arugula and hot honey and half pesto chicken. The crust is thin and crispy and holds the generous amount of toppings. Yum! I'll definitely be back.

Great to see them doing so well and opening up location all around the bay. Not surprising given how good their pizza and service is. Big fan of their online order system which has always worked like clockwork.

This is an excellent spot for pizza and beer. They are in the Little Star family of restaurants, so you know their pizzas are good. What surprised me was how much I liked all the other items on their menu too. We had a glass of Original Pattern (hazy IPA) beer and it was excellent. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable. They have 3 types of crust to choose from: thin, deep dish, and grandma style (square pie with crispy edges). What we ordered: + BRUSSELS SPROUTS & HOT HONEY - a great way to start. Served in a small cast iron pan so it stays very hot. + ARUGULA SALAD WITH STRAWBERRY BALSAMIC - this was so good, with chunks of fresh mozzarella and walnuts + BBQ CHICKEN pizza (thin crust) - lots of tangy BBQ sauce with chunks of pineapple and chicken. Really liked this but I thought there was a bit too much BBQ sauce. + HOT HONEY, SAUSAGE, ARUGULA (deep dish) - this was really good. The deep dish crust is not thick, but just shaped like a pan. The dough was like cornmeal and not very airy. It worked really well with this pizza. Overall, they have great pizzas, but also great sides and beers.

Service was okay, nothing standout, but not bad. I'll probably sit on the patio next time for a better vibe.Glad I gave this place another go--it's still just as good as I remembered! Blue Line Cauliflower Crust Pizza ($25.50) - I usually don't go for cauliflower crust, but this one totally changed my mind. It was thick, sturdy, and flavorful--held up perfectly under all the toppings. The small size easily feeds 2-3 people, and I've been craving it ever since. Honestly, it felt like eating a healthy vegetable cracker (in the best way). Highly recommend for anyone on a health journey! Wild Mushroom & White Truffle Oil on Grandma Crust ($35.50) - Absolutely delicious. Rich flavor, crispy base, and super satisfying. I'm really glad I branched out from my usual order. The quality is just as good as I remembered from years ago. Definitely coming back--and next time I'm grabbing takeout, too!

Cheese deep dish pizza. Pure gooey perfection with crispy crust.

If you love deep dish pizza, look no further for some of the best I've ever eaten. The crust is what makes is so amazing. It has cornmeal In it so it gives it a yummy crunch. I always order the same thing, the basic cheese deep dish. It's never soggy, always so fresh tasting and I love the big chucks of stewed tomatoes and how it cuts through the richness of the cheese. I've also ordered the deep dish blue line pizza, it's very yummy as well, with spinach, mushroom, onions and garlic. But I prefer simplicity! They have vegan and gluten free options as well so anyone with dietary restrictions can eat here. I am mostly vegetarian and their menu caters well to me. Service is always great , and they have a patio for outdoor seating when the weather is nice. This is a must go for deep dish pizza lovers!

This is a very comfortable place to eat a quick lunch. Well quick if you order regular pizza. If you order the deep dish pizza it takes 30 minutes to cook. This is what I ordered today. I'm glad I did. It is delicious. The crust is thin but thick and very crispy. I believe it's made with cornmeal possibly. I know it's dusted with it atleast. Then all the toppings are put on and finished with the red pizza sauce with chunky tomatoes in it. It is really really good. I hope you try this pizza if you haven't yet because it'll open a whole new pizza world for you that you didn't know existed.

Our favorite pizza place to go to in Danville . We've been going here since we moved here 10 years ago. The service is always outstanding from Dao & Twon , & Mark. We're treated like family & always a warm welcome & friendly service. They all know our order by heart so it's great when we arrive & order is in the cue . The place is very clean & we love sitting outside when it's nice . We usually are out there every other Friday or Saturday & enjoy our visit every time .

Best deep dish pizza! So many options for pizza combos. The garlic bread is also amazing and you can add toppings. Service was excellent today. Shaded outdoor seating

If you are a pizza lover and appreciate really well-made and delicious pizza, then try Blue Line Pizza in Danville. I have never had a bad pizza - they have all been delicious. They have a good selection of different types, some traditional and some not/so-traditional. They also have really good salads.

    Thick crust Tipsy Pig
    June W.

Virtually empty on a weekday for lunch. - The regular/small size Italian Combo with the thin crust was fantastic. Wonderfully crunchy crust, not soggy. I'm sure that the meats made this pizza really salty (but in a good way). - The large thick crust Tipsy Pig was good. I think it was made really well (crunchy crust again), but we didn't care for the taste. Maybe it was the crema, but the taste seemed a little confused between sweet and salty. Seemed a bit too sweet, and the pork taste was lost. (However, had leftovers of this pizza the next day, with some BBQ sauce, and it was very good!) Have been to other Blue Line Pizza locations, so know this is a good place. Will try Danville again to try more. (Diners outside we're having a mushroom pizza, which looked good and they said was great!)

I am vegetarian and have eaten at many vegetarian restaurants over the years. I would confidently say that Blossom and Root is the best vegetarian restaurant in the Bay Area and it may be my favorite restaurant hands down. Food: Key to a great restaurant is consistency. The food and dishes are consistently great at Blossom and Root over many visits. I have tried the Smash burger, yellow curry, Mediterranean bowl, french toast, pancakes, chilaquiles, breakfast burrito and several other dishes. Yellow curry is my hands down favorite but honestly no dish has ever disappointed. Every dish is always very freshly prepared. You can tell. They have a kids menu as well. Kids will also love the "experience" of the Butterfly bubbles drink! Just try it! Ambiance: Cute restaurant with a modern craftsmen kitchen feel. It feels like you are eating at the home of a friend with a nice house. Casual vibe that is kid friendly. Service: Servers and staff are always very friendly and helpful. It was about 1/4 cup quinoa and millet and more tangerine oranges than grains. Look at the difference of portion sizes from our experience vs Yelp photos. I felt this was inadequate and asked for more grains. I got a 1/2 cup of extra quinoa (only). Tofu scramble and pancakes (adult and kid versions) were good. The server tried to insinuate that the adult pancakes weren't enough, but they were more than enough. We also ordered one orange juice for a child (paper cup with a copper straw jammed through the opening) and hot tea. Honest review, it was overpriced and moderately good. I would not return; quality and value for 3 adults and 1 child was not worth $100+ including tip. Hope they consider my feedback to improve; this place has great potential.

Once we had the food they were often checking in on us and refilling water and drinks. The drinks were very good, the mai tai and chi chi were exactly what was needed! Now the food... very disappointed. The ohana beef stew tasted very bland, and didn't have much of a Hawaiian flavor or vibe, felt like it could have been an Irish stew with the chunks of beef and veggies in a dark brown sauce. The ramen was very salty, and it didn't have much going for it either. The teriyaki chicken we added onto it was fine, but the flavor got lost once it went into the broth. I'm used to getting mac salad at a Hawaiian place so I was interested and excited to try a potato salad and cole slaw. The potato salad had a lot of flavor, but it did seem a little salty. The coleslaw might have been the best thing I ate there ... the pineapple chunks in it were very refreshing. I'd come back for a drink, and maybe an appetizer but I don't think I'd get an entree again.
