Primo's Pizzeria & Pub is a longstanding Danville establishment. It's located at corner of Diablo Rd and Hartz Ave, on the north end of downtown. My buddy George F. And I came here on 09/14/2025, after a failed attempt to eat at the nearby Black Bear Diner. We got here at around 10:35am and the patio area was pretty busy with many football fans. There were several TVs showing different NFL games. It was perfect since the Niners had an early game that day. Our server got us started with drinks, George had a Bloody Mary and I got my usual soda. For food, George got a bowl of chili and we also ordered a medium Godfather pizza to share. The Godfather pizza was topped with marinated tomatoes, mushrooms, sliced link sausage, and herbs. Overall, it thought it was just okay. Although the crust was decent, the flavor of the marinated tomatoes overpowered the other ingredients. It probably would be better if they used another type of sausage and put less marinated tomatoes on it. Service we received was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. The total, with T/T, was $74. All in all, Primo's is an alright spot to catch a game. However, the Godfather pizza needs some improvement. 3 stars.

    Small combination pizza. $27.00 later

Food: 3/5 - My partner said it was not enough sauce and he did not care for it. Price: $27.00-$30.00 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Would return: No This is our first time here. I Came here late night around 10:00pm because Roundtable was closed. I called to order a pizza and the guy was not friendly on the phone, he was not rude but not friendly either. I mentioned I never been here before and I would like to order a small combination, he said okay, it will be ready in 20 minutes, did not ask my name or anything. Okay whatever, maybe it's late. We found the place, walked in, they were ready for 11:00pm to hit and go home, tables were up etc. Walked in, I felt a little out of place. The young girl who was friendly found my order since there was no name, but she found it and we asked for plates, cheese, peppers etc. I paid and that was the end of that. Time went by, a man came out and handed us our pizza my partner said thank you, we never been here and we are looking forward to trying it. The guy gave a grin and we were out the door. I got in the car and told my partner, I have not tried the pizza yet, but I am not impressed so far. Like my dad always says "Bad customer service, makes the food taste different. I won't be back.

Zoom in to see if you can find the extra grilled chicken.

Very disappointing to-go order. I ordered 1/2 BBQ chopped chicken salad which already has chicken. I paid $3.95 for extra grilled chicken. I also asked for lite ranch dressing tossed. What I got was barely any chicken and my salad heavily doused in dressing. This is not the first time my to go order has been disappointing. The last time I ordered the exact same salad, I realized the chicken portion was lacking, which is why I decided to pay extra for more grilled chicken. Clearly that did not solve the issue.

This has been my go to place for the World Cup and every game my family and I have been visiting for watch parties! Everything is great and the vibes are up! Plenty of food to order form the menu while you are enjoying the game, food is very good! The service is very attentive and staff makes sure you are well served!

Danville is ushering in the new era of Primo's Pizza. Along time institution of Danville Primo's has new owners and have remodeled it into a sports bar. My Yelp buddy Harvey K. Went for brunch and to watch the 49ers beat the New Orleans Saints. The interior was packed so we sat in the first row of tables on the patio with views of the Televisions on the outside. The weather was great but the rusty metal chairs were a bit ragged. Perhaps after some successful business they could upgrade the patio tables, chairs and umbrellas. We ordered a medium Godfathers pizza 5 stars. Bowl of Chili 5 stars. But only came with one small packet of crackers. Had to ask for more. Suggestion some chips would have been good. Drinks Bloody Mary $15 just meh Diet Coke plastic disposable cups minus stars Never asked to refill. Street parking and the Clock tower parking lot nearby. Service was good.

Me with my water and no beer after 45+ min

Looking at the reviews my experience seems to be a common theme. We came in this afternoon hoping to enjoy one beer and watch the World Cup. That was apparently too much to ask. After we ordered, the server brought us two waters, then completely disappeared from our table. Not from the patio, just from us. We watched her walk past our table over and over again, taking orders, checking on other guests, and helping everyone around us while we sat there waiting. About 30 minutes later, another group sat down near us and ordered. Only then did the server look over, almost surprised we were still there, and ask if I had ordered a beer. I said yes. She said she would "check on it." Then another 10 minutes passed. Still no beer. Still no update. Still plenty of attention for everyone else. After more than 45 minutes of waiting for one beer, she finally came back and asked about it again. At that point, my husband had already gone to get the car because there was no reason to keep sitting there. I told her the beer never came and that we had been waiting for over 45 minutes. She said sorry, but made no effort to fix it, explain it, or make the situation right. A 45 minute wait for one beer, followed by a casual "sorry," is honestly ridiculous. We left frustrated, disappointed, and completely ignored.

First time dining at Primo's Pizzeria & Pub did not disappoint me. I met up with a group of friends to watch game one of the NLCS between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers. Primo's has ample amount of space and televisions in the restaurant. We were a group of four and ordered an all meat lovers pizza and a Thai chicken pizza. I also has a house salad which was one of the best and freshest salads I have had in a long time. Both pizzas were delicious. Our server took great care of us throughout the evening too.

Food is very plain, service was okay, very casual, and outdoor seating looks a lot better than inside. The tables were very sticky, the menus were dirty, the overall vibe was blah on a Sunday afternoon. I think this place is better for hanging out with friends to drink rather than have a family meal.

    Slice of The Godfather. Delicious!

Went in on a Friday night when Sam Ramon Valley High had a homecoming football game. Found an open table inside and settled in. Had to flag someone down to get our waitress after 15 mins. After that, things went smooth. Pizza was quick from order to delivery. Tasted great. Nice crunch to the crust, decent amount of toppings. Good flavors. Beers were tasty. Would be nice if their Untappd menu was updated and in sync with what was available in real time. Good experience.

Wow. Wow. Wow! Was my first time coming to Primos and wow! The food was amazing! The staff went above and beyond and the atmosphere was even better! If you're a local or visiting the Bay Area, you HAVE to come to Primos!! Thank you and we will for sure be back!

Casual fun environment. Lots of TVs for sports entertainment. Outdoor seating area good for all kinds of entertainment, large groups, groups with kids Inside area is spacious. They have sections indoors or outdoors if you want to host a small or large group gathering. Lastly they have happy hour everyday 3 to 6pm.

Great place to hang out with friends and family!

The chicken sliders were good too, unexpectedly filling, while the chicken wings were unfortunately too salty to eat. Don't skip the green beans, they were delicious! We also had three different deserts and none of them disappointed (I do wish the lemon meringue had a regular pie or shortbread crusts). For drinks, my friend had a nonalcoholic cocktail that was delicious. A couple of us tried the guava cider--it wasn't my favorite, but it was light and refreshing on a hot day. Just know it isn't sweet. The service was excellent, and we all left full and happy. We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant had a very relaxed atmosphere, and the overall vibe was great. Our waitress was super attentive, and all of the other staff members were friendly and welcoming. For food, I got the double smash burger, my girlfriend got the chicken pesto, and we shared the nachos as an appetizer. Everything was really good. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the chicken pesto, but that's just a matter of personal preference and definitely not a reflection of the food itself. The nachos were excellent, and we chose tri-tip as the protein, which was really good. The star of the show for me, though, was the burger. I've never had a smash burger with that much flavor. It was easily the best smash burger I've ever had, and I would 11/10 recommend it to anyone who comes here looking for a burger. My only complaint was the fries. They were a little overdone, with some being overly crunchy. They still had good flavor, but it seemed like they may have sat a little too long. Overall, I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill, laid-back spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!
