This Round Table is the best one I've ever been to. While this is not a corporate owned store, they are so superior that they should be in charge of training all of those other locations. The food may be a little more than other RT's but when you compare their salad bar, parmesan twists and pizza to others, it is definitely worth the difference! . The products that they sell are so fresh and tasty and they have always been very generous to the schools in our area. They also have a private room that can be booked for soccer parties, etc. My only wish is that they could take over the corporate owned Danville location which is terrible and cannot compare! read more

Perhaps it's odd to write a sterling review about a pizza chain but I was enchanted by the new decor and design to this once old establishment. It spoke to me. The staff is incredibly friendly especially the manager who knows me so well and always asks how I am. They have a new darkened interior with a bar counter and stools but please, just to inform, they only service beer and wine. However, I enjoy just going to have a glass of wine, like the Prisoner or Faust. I still like their Pizza. I never had an order out of place or done wrong. I am a huge Round Table fan. The Walnut Creek RTP is amazing and always made my pizza perfect (the staff always wrote notes on my pizza box...that is customer service). I am recently engaged and had major surgery. I haven't been able to eat much and I asked my fiancé to get me a personal double pepperoni pizza. It was perfectly cooked and just what I needed. It was the first solid meal I ate (it was SO good). A week ago I was craving RT pizza. Todd ordered a large double pepperoni, well done. He got an undercooked pizza with the salty pepperoni (I think it's called "primo") pepperoni from the triple pepperoni pizza RT makes. It was disgusting. Neither of us could eat it because it was so salty and inedible. I have tried to call about the incorrect pizza but I just get transferred to multiple people who don't seem to know what I am calling about. Tonight, naturally, I wanted RT pizza. I called and ordered our pizza THREE times because the person that answered the phone took my order then handed the phone to two other people. I could not understand who I was talking to because there were so many people talking and the phone kept getting transferred. We received four phone calls because the delivery instructions were not given to the driver. We were over charged for our pizza and the whole thing was a mess. Both pizzas should be reimbursed. The place is a delivery nightmare. Don't order delivery. Order your pizza in the store and make sure you aren't wasting your kids school supplies on a crappy pizza and bad service. read more

The pricing on the counter did not match the pricing overhead and the staff was extremely rude about the discrepancy, and of course settled for the far higher number despite the lower cost being advertised. I will cut to the chase........I typically order pizza from Lamorida in Alamo but they didn't open until 4pm. We ordered and found that the pizza from Roundtable is very doughy and lacked flavor. Alamo has many more better options than this place. They are expensive and you end up with a pizza that is average at best. read more

I am normally not a huge fan of Round Table Pizza, but this location is pretty good. When we walked in, we were greeted by friendly cashiers who were very knowledgeable about the menu items and helped me pick out the most pizza for my money. I originally was going to order a medium two-topping pizza, but the lady at the front counter suggested I go with a large, as it would be cheaper with a special they were running. I thought that was a nice gesture. We ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza (with my half having pineapple instead of bacon) and it was pretty good. After about four slices, I felt satisfied, although the flavor was nothing memorable. Service was prompt and efficient and the restaurant was very clean, something I am not used to seeing at other Round Table franchises. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and will definitely come back at some point when I'm in the mood for this kind of pizza. If you are in the mood for pizza, but want something a cut above Dominoes or Pizza Hut, I would recommend you go out of your way to come here even if there is a Round Table Pizza closer to you. This would be a good location for a family gathering or to get together to watch your favorite sporting event. They have plenty of big screen TVs scattered throughout the restaurant. Another surprise for me was how pretty the decor was inside the restaurant - it definitely seemed more classy than your typical fast-food franchise. read more

This is a review of the manager, not a review of the restaurant (which we used to go to a lot for the salad bar, but never again after this experience): We had an Amazon 'groupon', $20 for $10 and went today for lunch to use it. Surprise! The manager says it's already been used, and to prove it he shows me the list that has the certificate number and our name, and an amount that we apparently paid when we were apparently there, and a line through the whole thing to signify we had used it. Well, we hadn't, but the manager had no doubt in his mind that this was all a clever scam to double use a groupon. I called Amazon while I was there and they refunded the coupon, and confirmed that they have received no notification that the coupon had been used. Ours was one of the few crossed out that did not have a date to go along with the amount spent, otherwise the manager might have had a shot at tracking down what happened. So, there are two possibly scenarios, either he is right or he is wrong. You'd think that would be a 50/50 proposition but he considered it a '94% or 95%' possibility that he was right and we were wrong. He offered an explanation that someone had hacked into my computer or someone in my house had used it. Both were wrong and ridiculous. He never once considered the possibility that he had simply entered the amount on the wrong name and then crossed through that wrong name. Even if he is 99% accurate it means he gets one wrong for every 100 entries, but that never entered into his logic. He finally offered to give us the groupon deal, but I didn't want to eat somewhere where they assume the customer is always wrong, so we left. Forever. So Mr. Manager, how about you do some research, see if you can find a credit card entry maybe for that payment amount, then cross check that name against the other names on your groupon list? Or explain why Amazon has no record of the coupon being used. And how about changing your system so you are not relying on you or an employee inadvertently drawing a line through the wrong name, with no way to validate that a mistake was made (like attaching the groupon coupon to the back of the list). Then write here to apologize. Oh, that's right, you already told me you are not apologizing. read more

(avocado, chicken, grilled veggies, hard boiled eggs, dolmas, sun dried tomatoes, olives, shrimp, spinach, spring mix ..... etc). They have a huge variety of beers on tap that they change periodically keeping it fresh. And quality wines (Prisoner even!). I told him why did i matter if i shared my salad plate with my wife he stated it was because they didn't make enough money for them to justify feeding 2 people. My family and I love this place. Kids love the pizza and garlic twists. Wife and I love their great beer selection. We come weekly with our family of 6 and besides the pizza and beer - enjoy all the TVs with sports games playing, the kid coin-op games and the customer service. I'm pretty shocked reading some of the other 1 star reviews since we've been coming here for several months. The staff knows what we order and we are well taken care of every time we come in - thanks guys (if you read this).
