With that being said, if my hours are listed as being open until 10pm, and I get a call at 9:57. I take care of that customer. What happened to this place??? Used to come in here and have a salad and a personal pizza for lunch. By the time I was done getting my drink and eating my salad I had some pie. After finishing and waiting for an additional 15 minutes I found no one ate the counter so I went in the back to find someone to complain to. My specialty pie was nowhere to be seen and the owner got very shitty with me. I'm 66 years old but nobody talked to me like that. He is very lucky I didn't knock him on his ass. Round Table is normally my favorite of the pizza chains. However, the customer service and quality control at this location are extremely lacking. I have eaten here a few times because it is literally located next door to me. One time I tried to call but the phone seem to be disconnected. I have had under cooked pizza and I have had over cooked pizza. I have gotten pizzas that are lacking half of their ingredients and I have been put on hold for ten minutes only to be hung up on. After the last order when the garlic twists were burnt and the pizza was poorly made it will be my last time trying this location. I would rather just spend the time it takes to travel to a better pizza place or pay to have someone else deliver. read more

I've been ordering from this business for years now and I appreciate their involvement with the local community and the general clean facilities. When the high school kids who work there can: a) manage to take your order correctly, b) make the pizza as ordered, c) charge you the correct amount, and then d) actually get the pizza to your house in under an hour, then the pizza is way better than you would expect from a chain like Round Table. Sadly, they struggle to meet the basic four requirements listed above on a regular basis and it's been getting worse and worse recently. It's probably better if you eat at the location instead of ordering delivery, that way you can fix the inevitable screw-ups faster. I've really tried to get past all the mistakes because like I said, when they manage to do their jobs right, the pizza is stellar. But they have been getting worse than 50% success rate for many orders now. I don't think I've had a painless order for the last 4 times I ordered there. I had a pizza that was missing toppings (extra toppings aren't cheap), an order that was missing an entire pizza (because the kid taking the order wouldn't stop chatting with co-workers long enough to get the order right), the driver forgetting sides and drinks, and last night we got a cheese pizza that was so overcooked you could remove the entire brown, crusty cheese shell off the top of the pizza in one piece. I've been through the hassle of calling and spending another hour to try and correct my order so many times that I've finally given up on this place. I'm not a huge fan of Round Table pizza, though their pepperoni and mushroom can be decent. I think it depends on the character of the 16 year old kid that's making your pizza. Maybe if he got laid the night before you might get a really tasty crust. More likely than not, however, it'll be sad and limp (I'm talking about the pizza crust here people...) They half cook your pizza and you can write in the comments and they ignore your comments. then get mad when you get disrespectful in the comments. my first driver was rude and was beating on my doors and windows and ringing my door bells. and didnt even call the phone when i said specifically in the comments to call my number when appraching my home cause of course a upstairs down stairs home is hard to hear the door bell or any door knocks then gone ask if i want my change of course sir i want my $14. but he gave me $13. n kept $1 as a tip which is disrespectful w out my permission . my second driver he was nice and called as he suppose to . The owner is a supporter of the kid's activities in town and that goes a long way with me. They offer a conference room / meeting area for athletic team meetings at no charge. Ordered a small pizza. Use the website and the only option was gluten-free crust for a small pizza but regular crust was available in all of the other sizes. I assumed it was a glitch on their website since I hear they've had lots of website issues. I put in the comments that I didn't want gluten-free crust I wanted regular crust. Now I made a mistake when typing in my phone number and the last digit was off. They say they tried to call me to see what I wanted to do, but I never got the calls. Instead I ended up with a gluten-free pizza which is disgusting in my opinion and had to pay for some thing that I'm not going to eat. But that's not the end of the story. The employee who brought me my pizza said that it's new corporate policy that they only have gluten-free crust in a size small. This seemed odd to me so I contacted my friend who works at a Round Table in a neighboring city. He said it's complete bull. He figures they ran out of the regular small crust and so that's what I was told because they didn't want to have to make more. I am a bit biased since I worked here for a few years when I was younger. Great staff, excellent owner. The food is always good n the restaurant is clean. Love the salad bar, it could have more options but its still good. Cheap pitchers of beer, whether you like Bud, Bud Light, Stella, Sierra Nevada, Black Diamond, you wont be spending more then $10 a pitcher (like you would at some other beer places in town). We live just down the street from round table Benicia. The staff is always friendly, The restaurant is very clean. We have never had an issue. Tonight we went ahead and ordered dinner csme to $25 we went and picked it up and we had asked for some foil for a couple pickles which we always do and we were denied. The woman was nice about it but she said unless we got the salad bar we can't get 2 pickles. Again we come there all the time never had this issue and we just spent $25! In my opinion it's the best place to get pizza in town. Their sauce has a unique flavor that is better than any other pizza chain. They have the best crust-to-sauce-to-cheese ratio for me. I generally have no issues with my orders, they are pretty consistent. If something is off (very rare in my experiences) you can just call them and they'll take care of it. This used to be my go to pizza place only with coupons of course, even though it's pricer than every other place in town. Also you pay extra for delivery, in the last year they stopped taking deliveries after 9:15, although they don't close until 10pm. Before that it was 9:30, and you just have to know this. the pizza was always good, but not good enough to put up with poor customer service. The reason they lost me as a customer is, the last time that I started calling for delivery at 9pm, well before their most recent delivery cut off time. This place really needs to get it together. Called in an order for a slice that is advertised as ready during lunch hours and told they have cheese and pepperoni. They even took my name and said it would be in the warmer. I walk in less than 2 minutes later and there is no record of my order and they have no slices ready. I'm told about 10-15 minutes. When you have a 10 minute break and call your order in for convenience this doesn't work. You guys should not advertise the ready slices since they are hardly ever ready and work in communication. I've always loved Round Table but last night I ordered pizza from there and they delivered it within 25 minutes. I was kinda surprised it was so fast, especially on a friday night but excited because I was so hungry. I sit down to eat and when I took a bite of the pizza the dough was completely raw inside, and the cheese barely looked melted. I called round table and they wouldn't even give me a refund or a coupon towards my next purchase. They told me to bring it back so they can re-cook it. REALLY?
