Jersey Mike's and I have a long history. The Jersey Mike's in Fairfield really messed up my sandwich one time, and when I called to complain, no one would answer the phone. I didn't want to drive all the way back, so the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I actually told myself I would never eat at Jersey Mike's again. Fast-forward 7 years to them opening a location in Vallejo. I decided it was finally time to put my grudge aside and give Jersey Mike's another chance and I'm glad I did! This location did a great job with my sandwich. The staff was friendly, the service was great, and they were really quick with making my order. One thing I've always enjoyed about Jersey Mike's is that they make your sandwich right in front of you, and you can tell them exactly what you want on it as they go. I can officially say this Vallejo location restored my faith in Jersey Mike's!! . After my experience in Fairfield, I didn't think I'd be back, but this location changed my mind. I can't believe I had great service at this Vallejo location. I did not order my wrap in person but through the app which they apologized for the wait which they didn't have to do it. My Chicken Salad Wrap was amazing. I didn't ask for salt in my wrap but it tasted so good like the sub. I have to say that this location in Vallejo is amazing. I did not know Jersey Mike's existed in Vallejo. Small inside compare to San Pablo but I should not be complaining I just like that I know that there is a Jersey Mike's in Vallejo. read more

It's my first time ever going to Jersey Mikes. We were getting so tired of the same things to eat around Vallejo. I told hubby that maybe we should try this. It's light, no fries (I am a fry aficionado lol ), and something new. He was craving a Philly cheesesteak, but that place next door went down hill in quality. Here's what we got: Me: mini BLT - this was surprisingly so good. Simple but satisfied the tastebuds! The mini size was perfect for me because sometimes I can't finish a regular order. Depends on where we get it from Hubby: classic cheesesteak - he was pretty impressed and so was I! The bread was so light and fluffy and the amount of meat/cheese/peppers were great! Only complaint hubby had was that he wishes the peppers were a little spicier. Aside from the latter, we enjoyed our food! Will come back again and try the other stuff! read more

I have been waiting and bragging about this plave opening up to friends , co-worker, and friends. One of my co-workers text me to let me know that thier big opening weelend was going to be busy since there was lready a line out the door. The store was actually alot smaller than I remember and I cant what was in this space before. At least the sandwiches are still delicious. My first visit to this location was such a great experience from start to finish. The space itself is sparkling new, spotless, modern, and incredibly inviting. What stood out even more though was the staff , every single employee, top to bottom, was genuinely warm, friendly, and welcoming. Exceptional customer service is becoming rare these days, so this visit really left an impression on me. Since it was my first time, I took a moment looking over the menu and figuring out the ordering process. In the middle of placing my order, I completely forgot to mention my bread preference. Once I realized it, I asked the manager, Mike, who happened to be nearby, if the employee slicing bread might be preparing my order. I explained my little dilemma and told him if it was too late, no worries at all. Without hesitation, he assured me it was no problem and personally made sure my sandwiches were prepared exactly how I wanted them. That level of care and attentiveness meant everything. He is also a great manager I observed him gently on the spot provide knife safety instruction to an employee. When they weren't quite getting it , he handled it very diplomatically and said he would show them the technique later. Very cool dignity of employee intact. That is how you keep your staff. Good job Mike! I ordered the #16 Mike's Chicken Philly and the #26 Bacon Chicken Ranch, both on the Rosemary Parmesan bread, and wow. That bread alone deserves its own review. Perfectly crusty, crunchy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, the sandwiches were packed generously, and every bite was satisfying. We ordered the 16 inch and honestly couldn't even finish them in one sitting. I also appreciated how organized everything was , from the chip and beverage selections to the smooth ordering setup. They offer both Phillys and subs, plus the convenience of ordering ahead for those grab-and-go days when you're short on time. First off - everyone was super friendly during the rush so like - already this is really good for a first day. Already obviously trained so everyone was confident and ready to go while holding a conversation. My kid was so impressed by the sandwich making he cried on the way home because we didn't automatically give him the sandwich bag. When we finally had the food at home - it was indeed yummy! Our first experience at Jersey Mike's. The people working there were so patient with us. I loved that the meats and cheese were sliced to order. My hubby and I purchased a giant #8 to share, 2 bags of chips and a large drink. All of that plus a tip was under $30.00. I thought that was a good deal. We had them add everything on it. I would recommend to go light on the red wine vinegar since we had pickles, yellow peppers and jalapeños. She sliced into 4 and that was perfect for us. We actually stayed and ate there. I have been back multiple times but nothing was as good as my 1st experience. The customer service is still great. Although one visit, the guy making my sandwich, I'm not sure why he decided to do this but he made mine and the customers behind me at the same time which took twice as long. He spent a little too much time on the customers sandwich behind me, rather than just making mine to keep things moving. Not that big of a deal but just it was odd. The sandwich's are also good but a few times they were very soggy. Way too much oil and vinegar, to the point where everything was just oily and vinegar saturated bread, so I've stopped having that added. I know I can ask for light oil and vinegar but I didn't. Even without it, the sandwich is still soggy. I will still continue to go here bc I do like their sandwiches a lot better than Subway. read more

I think they've only been open a couple weeks now. First time visit for me at this location. I'm a Jersey Mike's fan. Don't have to drive anymore to the store up the freeway in Cordelia-Fairfield. Store is slightly bigger in Fairfield than the one here in Vallejo, which seems relatively small by comparison. Ordered my sandwich as I usually do on the Jersey Mike's app. Store was slammed. But the workers were doing their best, busting their tails to crank out the orders. Big props to them for that. I saw you! Once the hype dies down a bit, the store can fine-tune things like delivering the orders closer to the pledged times, restocking the condiment & beverage station, clearing tables, etc, etc. Pull-up parking just outside the entrance is a bit tricky, as the lot is shared by several other businesses, including the always-busy In & Out Burger.
