Just came to town from WA to visit family and we were looking for a place to get a salad (some ruffage!) and found ourselves here. I will have to say- I like what they've done here with changing up RT- the place was busy on a Tuesday, and it's the nicest one I've ever been to. Online ordering is quick and always with top notch service when I go to pick up. EVERY employee is friendly and welcomes you in, loudly too. Great atmosphere. After being a two year customer at this location, I'm saying goodbye. We have always ordered extra cheese on our pizzas. They were fantastic works of art! ~ piping hot, with a thick layer of white/yellow cheese with a crispy crust. What happened? The last two pizzas we ordered were flat, floppy and cheese had a brownish tint. WTH? Round Table pizzas come at a premium. I never minded paying the price because the pizza was awesome! But after the last two disasters, I'm not going for a third. I do believe in this brand though. I will just take my business to another location and cross my fingers. read more

My wife and I were across the street getting our car washed as we left she said let's go the to Round Table lunch buffet. We went and it was amazing, the renovation is beautiful. We were greeted by Karen and she couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. If I owned a restaurant I would try to steal her from you! She even came around and made sure going everything was delicious. And made sure to thank us for coming in as we left. We just wanted you to know how lucky you are to have an employee like her ! My Bunco group of 24 used the clubhouse this evening for our game. The majority ordered food, meaning the group spent a great deal of money here. At 8:30 pm, with about 20 minutes left of our game, we were asked by an employee to leave as they wanted to clean the room. We told her we had just a short time left to play but she said the limit on the room was 2 hours and we were over. When asked if anyone else reserved it after us, she hesitated for a long while and then said "yes, someone has it at 9 and we need to clean-up". Clearly, she was not being truthful. Clearly, we will not be coming back and this location will lose a great deal of money. We play there every two weeks and average 25+ players who all order food and drinks. To top it off, I waited 30 minutes for my pizza, only to be told they forgot to place the order and asked "do you still want it". YES! Poor service and the rude push out are unforgivably bad customer service. The place appears to be run by teenagers who either have no supervision or piss poor management. I learned decades ago in Customer Service training that good service may never be communicated but when the service is extremely poor, people tend to tell 10 friends on average about the experience. I know I will let everyone know not to patronize this particular Round Table. read more

Came in today 8-19... placed an order online and Idk what happened but somehow my order was lost or didn't come through on time but anyways... they didn't get it and my order wasn't even started but the manger abs all the staff was super proactive into finding my order and rushed my order to the front of the line... which I didn't care if they did or not because this is the new clubhouse one and has a bar area... which I enjoyed while waiting.., but they all took care of me and made sure I was taken care of and even gave me half off... this is customer service at it finest... customer service jobs are hard to find good ppl to have work for and they have an awesome crew here read more

Love the new look. Food is so much better. You have a friendly atmosphere. There's a guy there that is so nice and friendly. He goes around and says hi to everyone, and make sure your food is fine. First time visiting since the remodel, I walked inside and was really impressed with what they did to the place the remodel looks awesome!! 4 stars instead of 5 tho because I gave the cashier a $5 tip but then he only gave me 3 paper plates in the bag with my togo pizza and twists even tho I walked in with more than 3 people (plus they're the kind of plates that you have to use two because they're flimsy) when I got home and noticed I was like dangit who only gives someone that many plates I thought it was funny but I was a little irritated about that lol also sometimes they put too much sause on the pizza but if you say light sauce its fine this time our pizza and twists were good read more

Upon walking in the door, their is a distinct smell of sewage coming from the bar, I think. I go to order and ask the cashier if my coupons I had on my phone would work, she asked me to move over to help the customer behind me. I said I'm a customer, I just want to use a coupon, then she tells me it has to be from their store, then she magicly finds one on the counter. uhhh, ok so I pay, waited for over 45 min, & nobody was in there, I walk up to the counter & some guy is walking around, I ask him if my pizza is ready? He asked me what was my name? The cashier never asked me for my name, there were 4 boxes under the lights, he looks in and finds mine. I ask him how long has my pizza been there? He said, a while, but don't worry, it was under a heat lamp. Do not go there, nobody that works there cares about their job & the pizza was cold by the time I got home, plus got no receipt. I will say that this location has good food and poor customer relationships. My group booked the party room. On our first two visits we did go over our time and the restaurant allowed us to finish. On our 3rd visit, an employee walked into the room, told us we had overstayed, clean up and get out. As a group we spent $300 to $500 each visit, we weren't just taking up space. Rather than working with us to help us get our event done we were told to get out. We have moved on to another location, not Round Table. We will take our money and support another business that will treat us with respect rather than being told to get out. read more

Pizza is good but customer service not so much. They quoted us 1 hr. for delivery but after two hours of waiting we cancelled order on a Wednesday. Definitely pricey and also the customer service is okay. They weren't great and the food was okay. Super loud music inside the place and it's a very long wait even when I called to pick up. Waited an hour. Called from coming home from work in Elk Grove got to the location and had to wait another 20 minutes. Took me over 40 min to get there with slight traffic. read more

It's funny that this round table has two yelp spots. One that shows it's horrible stars of 2 and another that has it higher. This makes sense though since my recent experience there was horrible - they most likely had so many bad reviews they tried the move it. I gave it 1 star because it's roundtable and their quality of food is always great. But the environment here was not. 1. Waited in line for almost 15 min while 3 workers tried to figure out why a gift card wasn't working just to be told it was a corporate gift card that only works at 2 locations in sac. This must be posted up somewhere and not left for a customer to figure out. 2. Soccer party was meant to be here except they seemed to be so lost or overbooked on where. Moved our group 3 times to various rooms. So inconvenient. 3. Watched one employee clock out during my long wait and the other employee asked where he was going and he said they didn't need me. This is while a lunch rush of 3 soccer teams are coming in. 4. Did I mention the tables were a mess and no one was keeping up on the bussing. 5. Families in our group waited for nearly 30 minutes for a basic cheese pizza. Altogether Managment has a lot to improve here. I recommend any other round table before getting near this one. read more
