Had the worst experience at my favorite pizza place. This location just opened and I am not sure what is going on but the staff is horribly understaffed with qualified people. I ordered my $40 pizza (added@$6 tip 20%) in hopes to get a real yummy pizza. Nope instead I waited 20+ mins past my pick up time then to get a grease finger printed box and a barely warm pizza. Man I wanted to get my tip back. All I could do was get a refund because they made so any errors that day...they no longer had crusts for every size except personal!!! And honestly the rude what seemed like the manager...really did not care. I was not the only refund that night. While I was there...there were 2 other refunds and complaints. read more

We arrived a little before closing on our way home from a mini vacation. We were greeted by a very proper young man named Brandon D. He took our order and gave us some suggestions. They salad bar was closed yet he went out of his way to make me a salad. The pizza was delicious and to the right crisp. The cheese twists we give a perfect 10. So my 6 year old was hungry and loves pizza. I stopped at Round Table on Murrietta Hot Springs thinking of my past good experiences at other locations many years ago. I ordered a pepperoni and cheese personal pan pizza and twelve "boneless chicken wings". The wait was fifteen minutes to prepare, which is fine. When I got home with the order. The small pizza was super thin and was blackened on the bottom and completely burnt around the edges! As my son was hungry I cut the edges off and scrapped the burnt toast crust bottom. The flavor was terrible! Let's move to the "boneless wings". I ordered lemon pepper and not LEMON SALT. The seasoning was atrocious. So rinse of the salt right and have them plain. Let me tell you that the grease used to fry these things must've been there since the beginning of Covid - 19. They tasted old, hard, and burnt. I paid $23 bucks for what exactly??? Needless to say that my family will NEVER return to this location or any Round Table for taking my money for this crap! So disgusting! read more

This round table is lacking. The one in West Covina and la Mirada taste the way round table should taste. This place uses cheap cheese. It's all oily and the crust is not baked with the same crisp. It even is lacking a certain spice in the sauce lots of corners are cut here. This place is so expensive too and the pizza at this one taste like some crappy $5 pizza place or worse. I have to say I grew up having Round Table Pizza as a kid and it was always my favorite. I am happy to finally be able to enjoy it again. I went last night and this new location was AMAZING. Ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza with olives this evening and it was fantastic!!! Yes, their pizzas are getting more expensive than ever, but nowadays small business operations must pay employees $16/hr minimum and that has driven up business costs enormously (recently paid $10 for a Big Mac meal). This roundtable is better than any other Round Table we have visited. They use more red sauce and the crust was perfectly browned around the edges. It was so good, I ate more than I should have. Kudos to the young man at the register (Felipe M.) and the kitchen staff banging out such great pizza. Although we live in Riverside, our son lives in Murrieta and we will absolutely be back!!! read more

Compassionate Customer Service. Wait for it... My husband is kind of a "plain/ no sauce" eater so when he wanted to try a non-traditional pizza I was like "Yay!" I won't mention which one because the complaint we had wasn't their fault we just didn't like it. At all. He thought I was kidding when I wanted to return it. Post surgical back surgery I returned walker and back brace adorned where I was met by the manager as he opened the door and immediately helped me by taking the pizza assisted me as I untangled myself from the welcome mat. He couldn't have been more gracious about exchanging our pizza. I told them I would use the restroom while I waited. Now remember 3 Weeks post op it took me a little time and a female employee came in and asked "Miss keely are You ok?" I was like how cool is that? My pizza Was ready and the manger walked Me to the car and put the pizza and my walker in the trunk. "Thank you for returning and allowing us To make this up." In life sh#t happens & I take on the chin. (Not literally...gross!) The bottom line is how the error, the fault whatever it is is addressed. Own the part that's yours. We used to come here when it was Cici's Pizza before I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. At that point we had to stop going to Cici's. One day we decided to step in and check out Round Table Pizza that had taken Cici's place. When they told me they had a gluten-free crust and they could order it for me on the buffet, I was thrilled! They told us they had a late night buffet on Tuesdays until 8 PM. We decided to have the buffet for dinner one Tuesday night. It is the best gluten-free pizza I have ever tasted! Very happy with the service and the Buffet! You can order whatever pizza you want for yourself on the buffet for no extra charge. read more

Your small act of kindness made my day.(She was young maybe early 20s, long black hair and is about 5'3) My son is 2 and is fighting Leukemia, he currently is doing a steroid pulse. Which is when he is on steroid medication for a week straight. This medication makes him VERY cranky and VERY hungry. Round table pizza is one of the very few things that gives him comfort and he enjoys. Which is a blessing during this time. I had loyalty points for one free pizza, i ordered one more and ranch dipping sauce. Picked up my pizzas and when the employee came back with my ranch cups she said she added just a few more. (2 more) Simple, and easy act of kindness that to most is no biggie but for this stressed mama it made my day and I wanted to cry. The food is always amazing but unfortunately the service is not. I haven't been to this round table in a couple years. So I was very excited to come back! Long story short, the pizza I ordered was wrong so I decided to let them know (I'm thinking it's not a big deal). I go back to the register and the young lady in the back comes out and helps me. I let her know that the guy who took my order messed it up. She informs me that she asked him if I wanted a specialty pizza and he said, that he asked me and I said no. That was a lie! I let her know he didn't ask me that. So she makes my pizza at no extra charge . Which was very sweet of her. But the kid who took the order is on a break or something and when she walks out with my pizza he starts to laugh as if .... Idk like he can't believe it that he f'd up! The disrespect! So than I thank the girl and just end up taking the pizza to go. So I go to the counter to get my debit card and another man walks up and doesn't say anything so I tell him, Hi I want to check out and he makes this dumb face like he doesn't know what I'm taking about. He says right here? And I say yeah the guy has my card up here. Mind you , I didn't know that my husband already paid for the pizza so I let the man know what happened and he kept making these dumb a$$ faces I can't stress that enough. He was so unprofessional like he didn't care what I had to say. His name was "Brandon "I believe and he was the manager ! The service was fine, the pizza was what I expected, a little expensive though. Now onto where the experience went south. The self serve beer station sucks. They don't sell pitchers of beer. You get wristbands and have to keep a tab. You get charged by the oz. we had approximately 32oz of Stella and a foamy7oz of coors light. It came to $19.75. I would expect to pay about $13-$14 for a premium pitcher of beer at a pizza place but like I said earlier they don't sell pitchers. I left feeling I was price gouged. read more

I've been to this location twice now since they've opened, back in January and then a week ago. Both visits weren't great. The first time I went, the Hawaiian pizza we ordered had ham and tomatoes on it. The second time I actually went to the restaurant with my family; two adults and five kids 8 years old down to an infant only days old when we were there. My family had the buffet and we ordered an additional pizza for me to eat. We actually ordered the pizza on the phone beforehand so it would be ready when we arrived at the restaurant. It wasn't, so we reordered it upon arrival. One hour after reordering and after I sat and watched my whole family eat, there was still no pizza. My husband kept following up and they knew they were supposed to be making one, and as someone who has worked at a pizza place, I know what goes into making and baking a pizza. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so it made it worse. It also sucked because we were there on my birthday for an easy meal that would be a treat, and it was also four days after giving birth to our fifth kid. I didn't even want the pizza anymore after an hour passed and told my husband to please get our money back and left to sit in the car. I guess they handed him the pizza finally after I left the restaurant. We observed other people at a table next to ours during this time also waiting as long for their food. I held off a whole week to write this to be sure I wasn't just "being emotional". But I'm still pissed about it and totally underwhelmed by this place. It's too bad because the establishment is nice, but for the prices I expect better service for sure. read more

When Round Table moved in a bit ago I was excited. We stopped in and it was great. Tonight was a different story. I called to have an order delivered and was told one price but when door dash arrived, they told me it was $5 more than I was quoted. I called and they said the price quoted did not include tax or delivery service. Who does that!? There was no attempt to right their wrong. I paid the extra and then had further disappointment when I ate Luke warm pizza that clearly sat awhile before delivery. I only live 5 minutes away. My salad was not fresh with several brown pieces. What a disappointment. It took almost an hour to get our pizza. 1 medium pepperoni pizza. They were busy, but not packed. Only one person in front of us. That is ridiculous. We went to eat lunch here today. No where online or on their menu does it have any info regarding their buffet times. Luckily we got here at noon and it runs from 11a-2p m-f according to the lady at the register. The restaurant was clean. The salad bar was full and the pizza station stayed full for the majority of our lunch. $9.99 for AYCE pizza and salad. 3 bucks give or take to add a drink. It was worth it. My wife and I are long term pizza lovers. The new location is not the same as the old one, something about the pizza seems very different. Budget and quality are more like getting beer on a champagne price. I don't want to compare them to other "fast and cheap pizzas because they are not cheap! But the new pizza is of low quality and today is my third time here. I had delivery the pizza and was like leftover pizza cold and cheese was hard and every aspect of the order came wrong. Who doesn't love good pizza? Second visit here. My first visit went well but we ordered an XL with everything but no olives. The boys don't like olives. We also ordered 3 drinks and 24 piece of boneless wings. It came out to $62 and that was after the $5 coupon. I'm used to Pizza Factory and Dominoes pizza and I have never spent that much on a pizza dinner. But it was with my hubby and adult son so i didn't mind and it was Valentine's Day LOL! Pizza and wings came piping hot but the pizza has a lot of olives on it lol. It was so funny because there were a lot of olives. No big deal they picked it off and lucky for me I love olives!! Was getting some ranch when the manager Jorge happened to ask me how my pizza was and I mentioned to him about the mix up and he gave me a card for a free L pizza! Cool, score!! The cashier and staff are super friendly. The manager cares and I see him hard at work making pizzas. I think he's the owner too. So today I came to use my free coupon and I ordered a Large pepperoni w extra cheese. 12 boneless wings and 2 drinks. Food again is fresh and piping hot but noticed there was no extra cheese on my pizza. I looked at my receipt and saw the cashier didn't put extra cheese so I didn't pay for it. I did bring it to the managers attention but we ate the pizza it was still good. I think he was frustrated as he didn't say anything. This is expensive pizza, get my order right the first time every time. I think it's still new and staff is still learning, I understand that totally. It could be overwhelming for cashiers with customers different requests and coupon codes etc. I get it! I think this place may have potential but concerned about the prices. The beer on tap is paid per oz. it looks cool and all but that's expensive too. I wish this business good luck as I am all for business owners. Place is really nice and clean as well. I'm excited to have this Round Table near us! My husband worked at a Round Table in high school and I grew up going to one, so it's a bit nostalgic for us. The ambience is super chill. They have a really cool sign up when you first walk in that includes a mix of Murrieta historical sites (the mill, the old United Methodist church, etc.). Crystal, who took our order, was very friendly and informative. They have a salad bar that looks like a regular salad bar you would find at a pizza place. In the corner they have some construction going on. We asked an employee what it's going to be and she said it's supposed to end up being self-service beer taps! That sounds pretty cool, but I'll wait to see if it turns out to be that. There's a little arcade in the corner that would probably keep your kids busy while you wait for your order. Pizza and cinnamon twists were yummy, although on the pricey side, which we expected as we are familiar with Round Table prices. We will definitely be back if they get those self-serve beer taps, just so we can say we tried it. read more
