I've returned to Round Table since my last review, and I'm happy to report that things have changed a great deal. Service has greatly improved: my order was handled quickly, everything things went smoothly, and I'm happy to report I can once again enjoy a pizza from the chain I consider to be the best. Either management kicked some serious butt, or it was just a weird night - either way, their quality of service is back to the standards it had been in the past, and that's a pretty good level to operate at. Pizza is a personal thing. Everyone has a favorite place, and Petaluma has lots of choices - but for a reliably great pizza I can once again wholeheartedly recommend them. read more

When you go to a lunch buffet and there's one pizza. 20 min later A bunch of people come in. The pizza gets eaten and there is no replacement. 30 plus min still waiting finally one pizza comes out. now the buffet is almost over. Serious fail. Hire new management who has enough common sense to run a pizza buffet correctly. read more

We have always been a fan of Round Table Pizza...that is until we moved to Petaluma. The franchise owner of this pizza parlor needs to take some serious interest in this buisness! The "kids" managing this place are running in circles, nobody knows what the heck is going on! We have had a total of 5 blunders in the last year with this establishment, which has resulted in 2 free pizzas, but also has left us very disappointed. Seems to be glitches in either the training of personelle, or with the online system for ordering. Three times they have not been able to find our orders, that is until we've spent alot of time on hold, then eventually speaking with a "supervisor." The other issues have to do with our pizza crust being under-baked. Come on guys, we order pizza on nights that we need a 'no-brainer' dinner!! Now I'll start out by saying that I love Round Table Pizza's brand quality. I may be a little biased as it was my first job when I was 15 years old -(Santa Rosa across from Coddingtown, 2001-02)- and I never tired of their food even after eating it all the time. This location I've had some hiccups with in the past, some I addressed, some I didn't address because they were new. (1 missing topping, it was a busy rush I didn't hold that against them.) I couldn't turn down the latest deal so I went to order online but it said they were not accepting orders at this time. Saturday nights are usually busy, so I get that and I called in the order. Friendly phone service: cool. I was told "no longer than 20 minutes" which I know was going to be inaccurate because Pan crust pizza usually take 15-20 minutes minimum if it's not busy. Well I got down there in exactly 20 minutes to pay; the restaurant is almost empty and has the chairs up on the table looking like its going to close at 930 when they close at 11 pm. Lo and behold I have to wait approximately 10 more minutes for my order. When I questioned why since it was clearly dead in there the cashier said it was phone orders. (OK, whatever.) I got comped 2 free cookies and offered drinks & salad which I passed on- I appreciated the offer though. In 10 minutes my pizza orders came up, they opened each one to verify everything was correct and I was on my way. Five stars. Excellent pizza. We had a combination pizza delivered to a nearby hotel. It came on time, with extras I had not thought to ask for like plates, napkins, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper packets. The pizza really hit the spot. I appreciated that ordering online was easy. We already know what pizza we're going to try next time and we are looking forward to it. We had ordered a small which was really perfect for the two of us, but next time we'll get a medium so that we have leftovers! I also appreciated that I got a follow up phone call, making sure that everything was to our liking, and that we had had a five star experience. It takes 2 hours to get the order delivered and if you call them multiple people will tell you that either the order is still in the over, or about to be picked, or out for delivery... no one seems to know anything about anything. I have been a Round Table fan since I was a child. Today I went to order and they have now sourced out to a call service and it's a big push sales pitch. I had to say 12 times as they suggested the new app and I can get another pizza for only this much, do you want to add this or that... "no I just want the pizza" 12 times! 1. Buffet lunch pizza was old and cold. They took like 30 minutes to refill it and people were waiting for it to come. 2. We waited in line to order for like 7 minutes because no one was at the counter. Just saw another girl wait for 10 minutes with no one in front of her. 3. We got overcharged for no reason. 4. Our pizza arrived lukewarm and had no cheese on it. We live about 5 minutes away. But here's the best part. I couldn't find prices on their web page so I just called up and ordered. In the process, they asked i I would like to tip the driver. I said yes and tipped $4. But, when we got the charge, the amount was quite a bit higher because they also charge their own delivery charge of $5 on top of the tip. This was our first visit to this location. It was 2:30 in the afternoon, the restaurant was empty. There were about six employees gathered around the registers visiting with each other. That wouldn't be a concern except I counted SIX tables that needed to be cleared. We received our food in a timely manner. It was hot, well prepared, and very tasty. I also had a salad from the salad bar which while pretty messy, the selections were numerous and fresh. We were there for about 45 minutes and were the only customers and the SIX tables remained dirty! Looking at messy tables is a real turn off - totally unappetizing! Okay, okay, I'm totally a fan of Round Table Pizza, for the most part. In all honesty though, I love pizza so much that I don't ever really discriminate haha. Round Table has been around for years and growing up, this was always one of the main places I ate pizza from. Pizza is pretty ordinary (nothing special) but it's still so good. Pepperoni or Hawaiian are my two picks but I've slowly come to love their Veggie Gourmet pizza. I used to also enjoy the pastas too but now I just stick to pizza. The wings are OK but I do really like the bread twists! About this particular location: It's definitely spacious...it has a back room for parties/events or just more privacy, an arcade area for the kids, high-tops in the bar area and several booths and tables. I've been here on a number of occasions and something I've noticed is that it's not kept very clean a lot of the time. Almost every time I go, there are a few dirty tables and they stay that way for a little while. I'm sure they get busy most of the time but it's always important to keep and maintain a clean restaurant. Customer service is OK. Not sure if people forget that they should always shoot to provide excellent customer service regardless if working at a chain restaurant or 5-Star. A smile and great attitude go a long way! They are always messing up. Yesterday, I ordered a gourmet veggie. No tomato extra artichoke.. showed up, no artichoke or zucchini! Plus they forgot the garlic (like always)! Called to complain. Ordered at 5:24, a personal pepperoni pizza and a bowl of pasta with marinara... as of 7:35, it hadn't arrived... I was on the phone with them for the third time when they arrived... I thanked the driver, took my food and brought it to my girls... opened it up and saw a pizza with barely any cheese and no pepperoni... I ran outside to catch the driver... she called the store to have the order replaced and gives me the phone... I tell the person taking her order to hurry it up because we've already waited over 2 hours and got what we got... he said he'd put a rush... I run back hoping to receive it in about 20 minutes later well that's not happening.... it's 8:18 and my Jordan is still starving! Also notice the pasta has burned ends and barely any sauce! I showed up, the pizza had just come out of the oven, and I took it home and enjoyed a great pizza! great job guys...again!! read more

i worked atcround table as a teenager and Iwish I could give a good review but it is what it is. As far as the facility it is the nicest I've ever been to. Thay being said the 1st time we went we sat down since we place the order for eat in. After a long time we went to find out what taking so long and the had it in the warmer as a to go...no big deal..right? Except it was far from the hot fresh pizza we were expecting. We to the girl up front while got the manager. They would not make us another pizza but gave us a 10.00 coupon which apparently expired when we tried to use it. Next time craving the Italian Garlic Supreme with both red and white garlic sauce we were informed that cannot put both sauces on even though we have had it this way for many years. We we disappointed but figured what ever it should be OK. Turned out it absoulutley needs both sauces as it was the most tasteless and dry pizza. I love the pizza and want to give a big thanks to the manager and Alden, who took our delivery order. We ordered a pizza and wanted basil added after it was baked. The pizza was delivered promptly, but no basil. We called and they said they would send more basil. After a long time we called back and Alden was very apologetic and said he would send it immediately plus give us a coupon for a large discount for our next order. It turned out he heard the wrong percentage from the manager and he called back to explain the mix up and personally apologize. Mistakes are bound to occur, but rather than just ignoring us Alden went out of his way to get us some sort of future discount and the manager offered us a good deal on our next order. 4/29/2017 I'm a fool to think that this place will get better. I understand that when I request a pizza delivery it takes longer to get your pizza but two hours is ridiculous. If I didn't call to find out adv ETA they would have never contacted me. I don't live far from the pizza place and I could go pick up but I have a special needs child and that why not chose delivery this night...two hours is ridiculous. Don't offer delivery service is you can't accommodate the delivery time of 75 minutes. I will never order from here again and I will let my fellow Petaluma residents know that this service is the worst. I love RTP but the service is unacceptable. Don't order from this restaurant... Close to an hour and nothing. Eating in and it was a little busy when I arrived, it has since cleared out and my pizza is just now getting into the oven. Had to tell them to put it in a to go box because my son and I are pretty sick of just sitting here. Never had pizza take this long. Customer service isn't too much to brag about either. But this was the worst because I chose to eat in. 50 minutes and no pizza though I could see pizzas piling up in the window and still no one ran out the food. They finally brought the pizza and it's cold. Don't eat inside, they have no idea how to handle more than three customers at a time. Worst service ever! I'm currently sitting at my booth at this location watching about 7 employees pass by my pizza that has been sitting in the window for going on 10 minutes. The kitchen guy has asked them about 3 times to take it out and they continue to walk by. Oh, it must be busy? Nope I'm one of maybe 5 groups in here and most of them are served. There is a girl here who seems to work here because she keeps going behind the counter and into the kitchen without a hat or proper uniform (assuming it's her day off) she is touching things and has her hair down leaning all over the place. Medium pepperoni pizza and 6 twists takes over an hour!! We were told 25-30 minutes. 8 other people got their food before us for dine in and take out. And!!!!
