My Dad and I go for pizza about twice a month, or more. Each time Rum takes the best care of us. Gets our pizzas crispy, just as we love it, each time hot, extra crispy and the order is perfect. So delicious, every single time Rum is the best. We've called ahead and , get to dig in, right away. We were big fans of Mountain Mikes, and we've tried other pizza places and have been so disappointed, but Roundtable has stepped up, and this one in Susanville Ca, run by Rum, is perfection. Consistently. I'm so glad we've found, another place to grab a great meal in Susanville. There's not a lot to choose from, and many places are not consistent. Rum and Roundtable for the win!! Went online since I was wanting pizza and to just go and pick up. Saw that they had bacon cheddar twist, which looked really great on the website. mine were overdone and black. There was no cheese that I could find and all i tasted was crispy burnt bread. Perhaps the bacon and cheese cooked out. The pizza was cooked perfectly, and it was good, but nothing special... leaving 2 stars since the pizza was cooked well, and the guy was nice. The guy that greeted me when I walked in was nice and helpful. Told me that my order was not quite ready, which was about 10 minutes after it was supposed to be so I had to wait for my order. They had a back door open, which I'm not sure if it was to let the flies in or to let the flies out, but there was lots of flies all over. I did not see any other customers when I went in. read more

When the new management took over a few months ago, the quality of the pizza got better. The place seems to be more clean and in shape, the manager and employees are super friendly, and I also noticed less or no flies by the salad bar. This place seemed to be ran down to the ground and these new guys turned it around. read more

Not only was the food great, the place was very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. The staff were attentive and accommodating. Definitely will come back after 21 years. I went in for the pizza buffet today and soon and you walk in there's a beep that the local gas stations use when someone comes in the door. I thought that's odd but ordered the pizza buffet and paid and walked to the back and the very few pizzas they had and they had flies on them. It was pretty gross. Very bad experience yesterday and last several times we have been there. Previous bad experiences had kept us from going to Round Table for some time but we thought we would give them one more chance. Huge waste of money to go there! Yesterday's visit was for sure the last! I tried to call in my order to go but after 4 calls and letting it ring for almost 3 minutes per call, no one ever answered. When I arrived, there was one customer leaving and one couple eating at one table. No one else in the restaurant. I asked the girl taking my order if they no longer do telephone orders. I told her I tried to call in my order but no one answered. She really didn't answer me so I asked her again. She finally said they were busy so they couldn't answer. That was an obvious lie because the whole time I was there, no one came in to pick up an order and no one else came in to place an order. The whole time I was there, the phone was ringing off and on but no one answered it, all tje while, two of the employees were carrying on a personal conversion with each other and the third person was on her cell phone. The only pizza being made was mine. When I got home and looked at my pizza, it had hardly any sauce, only enough to barely color the crust. I mean, she had to really work hard at making it that thin. Also there was not much cheese on the pizza. Thete were 3 pieces that didn't even have any cheese on them at all. This was the most dry, flavorless pizza we have ever had. Truly lousy. I spent $31 on it too! Well, the truly did have their last chance with us. I'll go to papa Murphy's from now on. One last thing to note here. Round Table in Susanville has never been a very clean place but yesterday it was truly disgusting. Sticky counters, filthy floors, just in general very poor housekeeping. All I can say is 3 hour wait for a pizza is a little ridiculous, especially when you call at the 2 hour mark and they tell you "it's just coming out of the oven"...when you call back again they tell us " it's just coming out of the oven now" then when you finally do get it, it's cold. I arrived at 12:43in the afternoon today, the lunch buffet was very poor, the pizzas crust was brick-like, crispy and hard to chew. I asked the manager Robin when he would put new pizza out, and he clearly raised his voice saying " I put new pizza out every twenty-five minutes, I don't know what to tell you ladies" and continued walking away, he finally offered to put 1 pizza of our choice out at 1:10 but ended up putting 3 out in two pizza's at 1:21pm... We decided to give this place another chance & have had nothing but good experiences here since, so I'm updating my review by 3 stars. We even chose this place for my grandson's 4th birthday party. I know many choose pizza factory for their birthday parties but my family happens to prefer the pizza here. The management was more than amiable in helping us plan for the party. We were given the large room in the back which gave us lots of space to decorate, spread out & play games. The food was great & the package price was more than affordable. The service was the best part, being that we tend to be very needy, for this or that, when we're entertaining guests. My only complaint was the faint musty smell, could probably use a good carpet cleaning. Otherwise, a very pleasurable experience. As for delivery wait time, mentioned in my previous review, all deliveries have been fresh & done in a timely manner. read more

I ordered for delivery, a week and a half ago. The waiting time would be 1 hour. I waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes and called them to find out what the problem was. I was advised that they could not find my address. I asked why didn't they call me? Their responce was, "they must have gotten the wrong address and phone number. I call an hour and a half after I ordered the pizza and was assured by Jaime that it was out the door and it was just a busy night. As Pizza places go, this one is tops. A few nice tables inside, but most of its business is carryout. Pleasant and efficient order takers. Beer and wine offered on premises. In addition to the normal range of toppings, here you can get portobello mushrooms, andouille sausage, zucchini and linguica. Susanville is not a great dining town, and this is probably your best bet for dinner. read more

Horrible customer service by an employee named Bill. I would give a zero if I could. He was actually getting aggressive at me for walking in without a mask. I told him I didn't have one on me, it was out in the car and I would go and get it. He then told me to loose my attitude. I said, what attitude? Stopped in here at 6:30 pm on this Saturday evening. I noticed about 8 people working. The prep table was a mess and there was a pile of dropped food on the floor in front of the salad bar. The buffet table that was shut down at 4:pm was a mess. My pizza was okay. No complaints there. I spoke to to of the supervisors Tracy and Collin about the cleanliness of the store. The supervisors need to learn how to delegate tasks and not try to keep up with it themselves. This place just needs some training of the staff and learn there are consequences for not doing their jobs. After speaking to the supervisors, people started cleaning. We are in Susanville for the week and had a hankering for some pizza. So we wandered into Round Table. And once we did, we knew we had made a good choice. Friendly, courteous and kind greeted us. The manager and staff were eager to please us and suggested the buffet. We agreed and enjoyed a very fresh romaine salad, beets, onions, olives, tomatoes and cheese for topping and a large dressing selection. Pizza was excellent as Round Table generally is...but not always accompanied by a grateful atmosphere as this was. I recommend when in town stop by, you will not be disappointed. read more

Just decided to go in for dinner since there is no power at home. I have been eating at round table here in susanville since I was a kid and this last visit was by far the worst, customer service wise. Gave it 2 stars only because food wise it's still the best pizza but the staff is carless and seemed more than all to confused. Didn't even give us enough plates or the ranch sides that you have to pay for. I'm sorry if these entry level workers think they deserve the 15$ minimum wage that has made the cost of eating out with the family practically cost prohibitive they should at least show some customer service instead of acting like their customers are just an inconvenience. These employees do not have a clue how to work in a customer service job and definitely do not deserve the 15$ per hour wage and if the managers can't improve the quality of the service they are no better suited to their position read more

Do not ever use your debit card here! Having to file a dispute with my bank because they decided to give themselves a $20 tip! I bought a large pizza for $10.75 carryout. I was charged this amount. 2 days later when the payment processed They charged me $30.75. That's fraud. This just happened on 8/3/15. I would never come here again. I called trying to be nice saying maybe it was a mistake on their end. Manager Robin was a total jerk. I wouldn't trust this place again. Pay cash if you come here! Update: 2 weeks later, manager never returned my call as he said he would. He said just file a dispute with my bank because they wouldn't refund me. Worst experience ever! I waited over 2 hours to have my pizza delivered tonight. I had to call 3 times, and was finally told that if my pizza hasn't arrived in another 30 minutes to call back. Keep in mind this is after I've already waited 2 hours. I was originally quoted a 45 minute wait time when I placed my order. The excuse that I was given regarding the long delay was that they had taken my phone number and address down incorrectly, yet they sure didn't have a problem taking down my card number....hmmmm. I also did not receive a receipt with my pizza when it was finally delivered.
