If I could give this place negative stars I would. The one star is for the new hire cashier who was the nicest. We walk in and he really really made our day. He was so friendly. He made sure to tell us he was training. We ordered the lunch buffet and we needed a kids drink to go - the manager/owner Instantly came up and scolded him right in front of us and then asked us "where is the kid" 1. You never scold your employee in front of customers and 2. It was TO GO the kid was not here. Regardless the interaction made me so uncomfortable. It didn't stop there. I saw him scream at him afterwards in the back.And I saw him ask him so rudely to take over a pizza to a customer and then shoed him away. I have seen a lot of things happened between managers and employees but that by far was one of the worst interactions I've ever seen in my entire life to the point where it made me so uncomfortable to be there. My sister went over to ask for his name and he wouldn't tell us and we told him just so he was aware that other people were talking about it as well. The way he was speaking to his employees was unacceptable and he said thank you for your feedback wouldn't give us his name and then continued to be rude to his employees. I was shocked at the lack of unprofessionalism that this man had and I know for a fact that anywhere in Tracy would be happy to have that guy is the employee because he was so nice. I said I did want them though. Wife and I ordered a Large Specialty pizza on a Saturday evening. This Round Table is less than a mile and a half away from where we live. The pizza arrived (COLD). On top of that, we requested it to be extra crispy, which it was not even close to being crispy yet alone Extra crispy. Called the store and asked for a manager. The manager that answered was named (Leslie). She immediately had a sarcastic toned after making my complaint, insinuating that I was being dishonest and was trying to get something for free. She told me that in order to get my pizza replaced I would have to wait another half an hour and do an exchange upon delivery. And went on to say if my pizza is really cold, then it should not be any slices missing or eaten. I told her she was unprofessional and should offer me a later date for a compensation of my order, due do the pizza being cold and not made Crisp as requested. The Lunch Buffet is all you can eat Pizza and Salad Bar. I was able to pay with Discover Card and Opted for an Optional Soda. The Place was Clean and had LCD TVs for Entertainment. I liked that they kept the Pizza's Stocked . I think Round table makes a good production Pizza. They alternated Thin Crust and Thick Crust Pizza's. Came in for the pizza buffet at about noon. We were a party of 3 and there were several parties of 2 to 5 using 9 tables. Pretty busy I thought so the pizzas must be coming out pretty fast. Boy was I wrong! There were 4 different pizzas out but were already at half or less. Pretty much after 10 mins, the only thing left was cheese pizza, cheese bites, and cinnamon bites. They put 1 pizza out and nearly everyone there went for it. Needless to say not everyone got a slice of it since some took more than 1 slice. We had a soccer party here, so we reserved enough dove for 60 people, ordered 11 pizzas, 48 wings, 50 drinks total. Derek told me that everything would be discounted 15%. I had to place my food order over the phone and pay a day before and was told that the drinks needed to be paid the day of the party. Day if we go to our for the drinks and was told by Derik himself that there was no more discount to be applied to the "50" drinks I was purchasing. My husband and I were upset to hear this after already spending $380 on pizza was told that the $160 we were spending in drinks was not going to be discounted. Like hello I could have paid for everything at once but was told I had to do it their way and still get the discount both times. That's not it! They gave us 48 bone in wings instead of boneless so had to remake that. We had a party of 60 people and gave us 10 plates at a time and got upset every time we asked for pizza. About 5 cups had holes I'm in them so the drinks spilt on those people or the on the ground. Not one member of the staff was friendly not even a smile was to be seen on any of their faces. The only reason I'm giving this Round Table three stars is because I think their pizza's are better than most in Tracy. This is the only Pro. Cons: The location is horrible. There's never enough parking and when you do find a spot, you better have your can opener ready to get in and out of your car. The service is hit and miss. Some days its great. Other days it sucks. The lunch buffet is acceptable, but on more than one occasion, I had to ask one of the employee's to re-stock or make more of an item. Their way too expensive. Here's the biggy. They DON'T deliver everywhere in Tracy. So for folks like me who live in the cities Southeast area, we have to make the 6 mile trek to pick-up the pizza. 6 miles not a big deal you might say. Well, it is. That 6 miles, combined with the traffic and traffic lights turns that 6 miles into a 20 to 25 minute trip. Ordered from this place a couple of months ago through Grub Hub. Did not receive the pizza... after calling back the staff gave me the typical customer service runaround (BS) and never delivered. I got the money back from grub hub. I thought maybe they have their own delivery drivers and don't like to use GrubHub due to its fees. Fair enough. Ordered another time last week using their website and once again no pizza. Called and it seems they weren't checking their system and gave another excuse that it usually takes 1.5 hours not 1 hour like it says on the eta of the order.
