I kept seeing Santa Buffet & Grill all over social media, so I had to check it out. For two people with drinks, we paid around $55--not bad at all. Parking was super easy too. Let's talk food: I came for the crab legs, but honestly, they were overly salty and watery almost like they were pumped with saline. That part was a letdown. But the Mongolian BBQ? Excellent. Cooked fresh on the spot. The sushi was also a pleasant surprise really fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is definitely loud, but I actually liked it! That just means you can talk loud, laugh, and enjoy yourself ha! They had a wide variety of desserts (some better than others), and the chow mein was solid. The salt and pepper crab needed more flavor, though. Customer service was beautiful our server was friendly and attentive. I had a great time overall and will definitely come back... just skipping the crab legs next time. Check out my photos!

Do not eat here. There are bugs in the fruit and when we told the waitress she did not apologize or offer a refund-she just took the plate and walked away. The water is not clear instead it's brown tinted. Overall the food was not worth it, most tasted like it had been sitting out or old. Will not be coming back

Okay, I do not prefer to go to Chinese buffets because obviously, it's not the best quality of food and frankly, they tend to be gross. However, my Vietnamese mom LOVES going to them. Therefore, I looked one up and decided to come here with my mom and sister. They open at 11:30 am on Sundays and we arrived at 11:20 am. There was a long line out the door. That's a good sign, right? Yes! The place was clean, thank God, and people were eating large amounts of food so the turn over of food was fast!! So every time I got up it was a new batch of HOT and fresh food that I got to pick. The variety of food was decent for $25 per person. I think I ate a large amount of food and I didn't get grossed out or feel sick. The service was real nice. Plates were being cleared left and right and water being refilled. The only thing I didn't like was the ice cream area. It's self service and you scoop it yourself, so I didn't try it. Would I go here with my friends? No. Would I take my mom here again? Yes.

I went out for lunch today, and it seemed like there weren't many food options . Crab and crab legs are only available on weekends.

One of the few remaining affordable buffets that offer Snow Crab Legs (Friday - Sunday only) in OC. I came on a Friday evening, and restaurant was 90% full capacity. Cold crab legs alongside hot fried crabs. Eight flavors of ice cream for dessert. Excellent value for the price!

At that price, I was a little skeptical about the food. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, so no issues with parking. Since you pre pay before being seated, the line was long and slow with only one cashier available. The dining room is spacious with a variety of options, including sushi, American, Asian, fruit, salad, dessert and a large Mongolian stir-fry station where you choose your own ingredients and have them cooked to order. The sushi station was the most popular with nigiri and rolls. The salmon nigiri disappeared within a minute of being restocked, so timing is everything if that's what you're after. Considering the price, I wasn't expecting high quality, but I was surprised of the options available. The staff did great clearing plates promptly throughout the meal. For an AYCE buffet that costs less than fast food meals, it's a great deal for families.

Not only was the crabs a lie, the establishment under a Japanese pseudo name, is actually ran by the Chinese. Fortunately, it was easy to locate the exit. The vibe was off, as the food was slowly ripping my two cheeks apart. If you decide to go here, go somewhere else. If you have the courage to ignore my warnings, you should still go some where else. Yes, the price has gone up as a result, but they have way more options on par with more expensive places. On the weekend/dinner, they now have a chilled seafood section with items that aren't covered in any type of sauce including, but not limited to; raw oysters, crab legs, abalone, crawfish. They still have their steamed dungeness crab, fried crab, and craw fish boils. I don't think these updates have caught on yet because those premium items aren't attacked like donuts at a police department. At most buffets, you see people walking away with stacked plates with none left for you when you're third in line. This place usually keeps a steady supply. The only thing that sucks is the single serve ice cream. I know it's more sanitary, but soft serve and scooped ice cream would really put that place in the next tier up for Asian buffets.

Not sure if they've improved or what, but it was really tasty by buffet standards and I instantly became a fan of Dimassi's despite my 2 star review from 3 years ago. Since then I've been coming here every other week lol I'm such a huge fan of the large selection of salads and vegetables they have to choose from. I love the parsley salad, cabbage, roasted vegetables, the vegetable soup, and all the onions/tomatoes they have in some of the dishes on the buffet line. I LOVE rice (wow what a surprise) but here? It's such an afterthought for me. I will gladly eat all the roasted chicken, lamb shank, kofta, etc. with all the salads and veggies. It's the healthiest buffet I've ever been to. Sure, I might finish with a few bites of rice or a falafel or two, but I always leave here feeling healthy which is crazy to say after eating a buffet. No one is getting fat off vegetables and braised lamb and chicken. Well, maybe if you eat enough of the fried chicken (which is great by the way). There is a bell that you have to ring in order to get one. Remember to get it! It's very tender. The salad section was great. It had a good variety of greens, and they were all dressed and seasoned very well. I liked the big cucumber salad and the kale with pita chip salad the most. The pita chips as croutons were very nice and crispy. The hummus section was awesome. My favorite one is the green one. I think it's avocado? You should try them all! Don't get filled up on it, though--save room for the meats! Besides the lamb shank, I liked the kofta and the gyro. The first batch of kofta I had was very juicy, and the second was more on the drier side. Same goes for the gyro. It was cut kind of thick and was a little dry. The garlic sauce they have went very well with it! I also got the beets, and they were my favorite item. They were sweet and tender, cooked to perfection. The cantaloupe and honeydew were both very sweet. I think that's kind of hard to come by these days. Their pudding was okay, not my favorite. I also tried the baklava, and it is definitely one of the better ones I have ever had. Definitely recommend this place, and I will come back.

The service was noticeably unfriendly and not very attentive. During our wait, we also noticed cleanliness issues that were very concerning, including German cockroaches crawling around us. The food was also not up to the usual standard. We received two plates of meat. One was fine. The other arrived looking partially frozen and discolored, and after cooking it was very tough. The atmosphere was also unpleasant due to a constant beeping sound that became very distracting and even gave some of us headaches. When I raised these concerns at the front counter with someone who identified themselves as a senior staff member, the response was only an apology. We were told they were aware of ongoing pest control issues, which was very concerning to hear. There was no compensation offered for the experience. Overall, this visit was far below the standard we've come to expect, and unfortunately it has made us question whether we will return in the future.
