Just stopped in for "Lobstah Fest". $15.95 for a pound and a half lobster dinner. It was amazing and so was our waitress named Angelina. Prefers Angie and that's fine with me. Service was amazing food was fantastic price was right where it needed to be. Get down here as fast as you can!

Buratta salad. Beautiful but the tomatoes were very under-ripe

I feel bad posting a poor review for somewhere I haven't had a full meal at yet, but I feel it's due diligence to note that service is extremely poor during the comedy shows. They have a 2 drink minimum, but how can you even meet that when the waitress leaves and never comes back? Oh well, I guess I didn't want a second drink anyway! I love that ROW/Off the hook comedy is now in Naples and so close to my house, but the service is a bit of an issue that has seemed to go unaddressed from their first show up until one I went to last month. Frankly, it's because of the poor service that I haven't actually tried ROW for dinner even though the menu looks amazing! Hopefully they can get the kinks worked out so they can keep the Naples location. I don't want to see them go anytime soon!

1/2 portion mahi and risotto!!! Yum! Ask for more chimichurri... Delish!

Would have been a 5 star but I'm still upset about them charging us for bottled water. We started with shortrib cheese sauce fry appetizer which was delicious! Followed by the homemade burrata caprese salad and lobster bisque. The burrata was so fresh and delish! For entrees we got prime rib, shrimp and scallop risotto, and chimichurri mahi. All were excellent!! I would definetly come back. I would understand the water charge of you only ordered drinks, but we ordered app, soup, salad, and entree and still got charged not to mention we each had 3 drinks.

Mussels marinara. Pasta was hot and mussels were "opened" .... but shells and mussels were cold. Absolutely disgusting. Health hazard.

The food was as good or better than any other restaurant in town. The meat was cooked to perfection and the service was top notch.

I parked near their walkway sign and once I ventured through, it's such a lovely walk up to the restaurant with a bridge over water with fountains and tons of blooms everywhere. Once inside, I was met with a bright, crisp dining room that was clean and comfortable. We started with cocktails and I got their version of a Manhattan, the hog-hattan. It's made with Whistlepig 6 year and came out on the rocks. Manhattans not served up are kinda a pet peeve of mine--but this one? Truly and honestly one of the best Manhattans of my life. The server did not steer me wrong. It was exquisite. For my dinner, my dining companion and I opted for a deal they had that allowed you a starter and main for a reasonable price. I got the kale salad for my starter which was bursting with flavor--chopped kale, brussels sprouts, butternut squash, chevre, and a bright citrus-y vinaigrette--what's not to love? For my main, I got their Mahi Mahi which was also perfectly executed. It was served over a bed of rice and asparagus with chopped mango and a sauce (not sure what kind but balanced the dish perfectly) on top. I would have a hard time not ordering this dish again. It was craveable. Our server was lovely and provided wonderful recommendations for both myself and my dining companion. No notes! Get to it!

I read it was a little tricky to find, because it sits in the middle of a little resort. It's a great walk over a little bridge that crosses over a pond. It resembles a seaside restaurant with lots of seating inside and outside. I sat at the bar and was enthusiastically greeted by the bartender. I asked for her recommendations and I went with the hogfish sandwich. Luckily, she told me I could get it grilled and blackened instead of fried. I could tell they knew how to cook fish because it came out perfectly. Most would probably think it was undercooked, but that's how fish should be cooked. I appreciated this attention to detail and thought it was delicious.

We decided to go with the shrimp cocktail and mahi tacos on corn tortillas. There are also plenty of gluten free options which is nice. My new fav vacay alcoholic beverage. This place is lively and lots of TVs to keep up with your fav sport team. It's also a Seminole bar (go gators). I won't hold it against them. Lol. I was going to order the calamari and 6 oysters. Putting north of $30 for supper. One of the people in the party ordered a smash burger, and I thought, what the heck, I'll order that. Pretty good burger. For those who like to drink under a thatched roof outside, there is a tikki hut. The establishment's motif is all over the map. But let's just stay with the island theme in Naples, FL. Would I go back again? I don't know, I have had this book marked, and I have eaten at another of their establishments, Sonny's. They do not have the same menu. I like that.

Finally tried their restaurant with 6 other ladies and it was marvelous. I had the swordfish which melted In your mouth. Another ordered salmon and I thought she might lick the plate. Several had the soup of the day and raved about it. One lady ordered oysters and thought she died and went to heaven. Sorry I had to look in another direction, I don't even like looking at them, But to each their own. Also heard raves about the lobster roll. Service was excellent, our waiter works winters here and the summers in Maine, So he knows his seafood. The decor is done very well, the bar is an old boat with the top half over the bar holding glasses and the bottom half the bar. We all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at Swan River and we will be back.

My grouper, however, didn't quite hit the mark. It was cooked well but pretty basic, and the presentation didn't showcase the quality of the fish - I give it a 3. I also wish the mussels came with bread to soak up the delicious broth. Service was friendly, though lunch took a little longer than expected. We also noticed another customer dining indoors with a dog. It wasn't disruptive, just a little unexpected. I still love Swan River's seafood market and genuinely want the restaurant to be just as memorable. The quality is there, I think a few thoughtful touches would make a big difference.

Naturally smoked turkey with brie, pesto mayo, and tomato jam on gluten free bread, served with a fresh Caesar salad. Pretty good sandwich. The turkey was flavorful, the bread held up nicely, and the salad was crisp with a good coating of parmesan. Decent value for what you get. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which came with a side salad topped with blue cheese crumbles and red onion. The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients. My smoked turkey sandwich hit the spot, but those fish tacos need work. Four stars for a solid overall experience, but maybe skip the tacos next time.
