Delicious breakfast and the crew and owner do a fantastic job of slinging great food while keeping the energy friendly! I loved my veggie Benedict! Super silky hollandaise sauce and delicious breakfast potatoes! Will eat here again when back in The City!

I absolutely loved this neighborhood gem Café. Yes it's up a hill from Union Square but it is totally worth it! Service is wonderful. The food is outstanding. Highly recommend!

Another fine restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Roxane's, San Francisco. A neighborhood gem. been coming here 12 years.

We always love coming to Roxanne's Cafe for breakfast. It's been over six years since we've been here. We're in San Francisco for two days before we head off to Hawaii, and today decided to walk to Roxanne's for breakfast. Our favorite person still works here. Consuelo has been here for 23 years. She's always there when we come in, she always greets us with a warm welcoming hug hello. Many hugs I might add. Consuelo always gives us great service. After 23 years, Consuelo remembers us and our names. When she's not busy, she brings us water, coffee refills a plenty and our breakfast and her great conversation. She will always ask how my mom is doing. Always a pleasure seeing Consuelo at Roxanne's Cafe. The potatoes today were delicious.

    Corned beef and hash

By far the best Corned Beef Hash I've ever had. Very unexpected tasty diner. Since it's in the middle of a very touristic area I didn't think much of it till I tried. I strongly recommend it. Service was very nice. Food was super good and prices were very affordable. I even got mimosas! The place inside is very cute too, and if you sit by the window you can see the trolly up and down which adds some entertainment to your breakfast.

    Roxanne grande

We came on a busy Sunday but there was no wait which was great. Service was poor however, our waitress did not speak good English and initially brought matcha instead of mocha, even regular coffee didn't come until the food (would have been nice to sip while waiting), no refills on water or coffee. Food was overall better than service. The "Roxanne grande" was very good, pancakes were average but eggs potatoes and bacon were excellent. Lava cake was cooked through, no lava.

My self and my partner were visiting from out of town. let's me just start off with the services was absolutely amazing the lady was very friendly and personable it's felt like a local spot. Alright let's talk about the food I ended up getting a turkey sandwich with avocado. Let just say they are not stingy on their quality of meat and produce. Everything was extremely fresh, the bread was perfect not too hard but not too soft! If you are a local or visiting from out of town you have to try this spot. Please keep in mind that is establishment is small and unfortunately doesn't have a wheelchair accessible.

    Classic Caesar Salad with chicken
    Lucy S.

I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and it fell short of what I expected for $22. The lettuce didn't taste very fresh and the dressing tasted mediocre. I think I could have made a better salad by myself. Service was good

    Tony T.

The staff were great and friendly. Food was good, not great, and decent prices for the area. One of our water glasses was dirty. Yelp showed it was wheelchair accessible (one of reasons for selecting here to try) and actually it was not. No ramp and had a set of 5 steps. Therefore the lower rating today.

Was recommended by our hotel who said they would give us a 10% discount. Waitress said she applied the discount. Brought us the bill with no itemized receipt. Paid the bill and got an itemized email. No discount was received. Ordered pancakes and side of sausage for $23. Could have gotten a combo meal for less with more food. No recommendation from waitress. Very disappointed with service. After getting the pancake home, it was worse than McDonalds. I don't do very many reviews. This place was so bad that I had to do one.

Was here couple of days to celebrate a friend's birthday. To my surprise, this little gem serves some pretty good food. I had the salmon that night and it was cooked perfectly. My friend had pork chop, it was a bit overcooked. The garlic shrimp, bruschetta and Cesar salad were delicious. The only down side is the parking. Hard to find street parking. I had to parked in the garage and it cost me $40 to park for 3 hours. The owner also owns the bar next door so we went and had a drink after dinner which is a plus. Will definitely go back and try some other dishes on the menu.

A Perfect Anniversary brunch at Roxanne's on Powell Street! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Roxanne's on Powell Street, and it couldn't have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting -- elegant but still cozy, with just the right touch of romance. We ordered the Roxanne Grande, and wow -- it was absolutely delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every detail. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel special, even surprising us with a sweet anniversary touch at the end of our meal. Roxanne's has that rare combination of great food, great service, and a truly welcoming vibe. It made our celebration unforgettable. We'll definitely be coming back -- and recommending it to everyone we know!

Corned Beef Sunrise, Iced Dirty Chai
    Kellie W.

Really glad we picked this spot for breakfast during our short stay in the city. We both got the same thing, the Corned Beef Sunrise, cause how could you pass up house made hash!? Everything about the meal was fantastic and just the right amount of food. Needing some caffeine after a late night out, the iced dirty chai was perfectly balanced and hit the spot. I could argue it was one of the best I've tried. My boyfriend had an espresso shot he said was really good. We appreciated getting a good spot at the window, getting to people watch and enjoy watching a bustling city. I think the service could have been a little faster, but it was our first time here and honestly I'd much prefer feeling relaxed and not rushed to finish my meal and get out. Definitely worth the (very minimal) wait for this beautiful and delicious meal.

The crispy chicken was recommended by the server and it truly did not disappoint. The chicken was crisp and juicy and the noodles were cooked perfectly. For drinks we got the Thai iced tea, butterfly lychee fizz, and the coconut milk latte. I got the Thai ice tea less sweet and it was perfect for me ( I usually don't like it super sweet). The butterfly lychee fizz was very refreshing (could be less sweet for me) and the coffee was also very good! In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!
