Lives up to the hype. Got the red chicken burrito and a saag paneer taco. Both had great flavor and tasted fresh, with a nice crunch from the kale slaw. Pleasantly surprised by the spiciness of the burrito. Probably didn't need all of this food for one person, but I don't regret it. Mexican in presentation but Indian in flavors. I usually like this place despite the fact that the service is very slow, but this evening my friend and I went in for a burrito and two tacos and we waited 48min. There were two other people in the restaurant that were waiting on their food that were there before us WE GOT OUR FOOD BEFORE THEM! The guy with dreads was working the front and seemed to be dazed and confused and continuously messed up ordered and left customers waiting at the register for +10minutes without saying a word. There was a tall Asian kid in the back that was TEXTING in total view of the counter as the kid in the front drowned in a very small amount of orders. If they want my business again, they need a serious change in staff. read more

Sure you can get the best Indian fusion tacos I've ever tried with the regular soft corn flour tortilla, or you can get it with papadum (here only I think) and it's like a little bowl for every taco. The chicken, the saag and the Chana masala...all so good. Saag is my favorite though. And they're $3 each. Highly recommend this joint. read more

So I had decided I needed to be more sparing with my 5 star reviews when I got back to Yelping, but then I had Roxie's Tacos and there aren't 6 stars so I'll just have to go with 5. This little gem is located on Broadway on the Hill, near the art supply store. They do an amazing job with a limited menu, which can be changed up quite a bit with their different chutney selections. Today I had the masala and the red chicken tacos, I had the masala with the cucumber raita and the tamarind chutney on the red chicken. For $6.75 you get two tacos, a can drink, and a bag of homemade chips (not sure if they were inflated papadums or what, delicious garlic and spicy). Service was friendly, informative and helpful. Tacos a la carte are $3, and totally worth it for the size. I was quite satiated after my 2 taco meal. I will definitely be back, and I imagine they'll have to expand soon with how great they are. read more

First - the hibiscus lemonade was amazing! And I really thought the person working the restaurant was pleasant. My problem was the food. I wanted to like this place - its highly rated and combines two food cultures that I wouldn't normally put together. Unfortunately I found the food very salty. The beans and rice were sticky and I had orders the chicken curry and spinach (saag) - for some reason all of this was layered together. As was a pickled relish and 3 sauces I decided to try. Wow, this place is seriously delicious. My partner and I were visiting Boulder on our move from Boston to SF and found this little gem. I would characterize it as Indian inspired fast food rather than tacos, and if we lived in Boulder, we'd be eating here almost daily. If your dietary restrictions include gluten free and dairy free, this will be a little slice of heaven. We got a rice and lentil bowl with chicken and chana masala, and chicken tacos with papadum in place of a regular taco shell. The food was incredibly flavorful and fresh. Amazingly fast service that was super friendly, and you can hang on the small patio with your dog companion too. Oh yeah, and the hibiscus limeade and coconut honey almond chai were killer.
